Still, the amount of actually racist people is definitely dwindling, so in a couple generations, our grandkids won't be raised in a world where people think that mixed races is wrong.
What will our grandkids' kids think of us? What do you think of people from the early 1900's?

I've got a redheaded cousin in Arkansas that her entire town calls devil because she's a redhead. They spraypaint the outside of her house, rock windows and hold prayers to cleanse the house. It's gotten so bad she's had to call the cops several times. The cops tell her to get a gun.

They're racist though, against all races
To me being equally racist against all races (as long as you include your own) is functionally the same as not being racist. I mean I fucking hate errybody including fellow white people (or "fellow Jews", depending on your perspective). That's just plain old misanthropy.

Can you even all it racist if you hate everyone? I don't mean to echo your point, but hating everyone isn't racist. And I'm kind of in the dame boat. I mostly hate stupid/willfully ignorant people. Are stupids a race?
I just realized that even though I often do a double-take when I see an interracial couple, I don't think of white+asian couples as interracial. Weird. I am white and I think a lot of white people have the same mentality as me about this, or perhaps it's just the ones I grew up around? But yeah. Maybe it comes from being immersed in weeaboo culture from middle school onward, but to me "asian girlfriend" is about half as exotic as "redheaded girlfriend", even though my last name is Scottish.

Seriously confused here, like to the extent that even if it's not a white town I'm assuming either you or she is exaggerating this for effect, and if it is a white town I think you're getting modern day reality confused with the Scarlet Letter novels

Yep the cops told her they can't be coming out there all the time and if they can't make it out there she should have a gun to protect herself. Her mom is a redhead in Arkansas too, but I'm not sure if she gets the same threats. Redhead... the new black in the south.
Weird... I never knew redheads were persecuted. I mean, sure they have no souls, but they're generally very nice (joking of course... please don't ban me).
I don't get how some people can get so fired up over something so silly. Although, now that I think about it, my dad was made fun of for having red hair, and he was more a strawberry blond. His hair is white now, but, yea... people are messed up.

Alot ginger kids seem to become annoying at some point if they get tired of being made fun for their hair color.

Teasing someone for their appearance is pretty different from spraypainting their house and burning crosses in their yard and shit.
I mean, I presume it's different. Maybe they're friends who do that kind of stuff as practical jokes. Or coworkers or something who don't like her for other reasons, and think it's funny to do stuff like that to her.
