Just giving a heads up to anyone here who uses a Mac that there's some pretty bad malware running about, be careful out there!

my irony is, i just read about something like this that happened in 98.
Luckily I don't use Mac.
I've been using my PC almost exclusively lately, so I should be good until Apple decides to throw an update down the pipeline. My MacBook's stupid old now anyways. Or at least, it's really starting to show its age/wear and tear. .-.

EDIT: And after reading the Beeb, it seems they've already put out a patch. Guess us Mac owners should jump on that, then! (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17623422)

Now the question is how long Unix/Linux can maintain its security through obscurity. ┐( ̄ー ̄)┌

Unix/Linux users are sophisticated enough to smash and burn any virus that comes their way anyway.
