I give 50 gil to the shopkeeper for no reason. I try to fall asleep, which is probably disadvantageous.

Do we need to choose where to move this SKY YACHT or is it going to move automatically next turn?

Yes, you need to choose before you head anywhere important.
Otherwise you'll just meander.

Ok guys lets go UP, there are crystals in space right? right?

Ask skipper-caption-man-dude-pal-guy-friend-bub about any strange occurrences in near by lands. Because we need clues on where to go. :v

I explain how I got here.

I come from the same world as all of you... the World of Ruin. I was a friend of King Edgar of Figaro, and was travelling from Narshe to meet him. But when I got near Figaro Castle, the strangest thing had happened. The desert was gone, replaced by barren rocks. Figaro Castle itself was surrounded by a massive city, which was clearly of high technology but had been completely decimated by some sort of catastrophe. Eight energy reactors surrounded the castle in a circle! I ventured into the city to try to find out what had happened, and to make my way to the king.

It was like the ruined city had come from another world, another dimension, and had been dropped into our world somehow. I was able to find out by exploring that the city was called Midgar, and that most of it was run-down slums even before it was destroyed. Eventually I made my way through the rubble, and found Figaro Castle in the city's center. And there in the castle were King Edgar and the entire court of Figaro, all just as confused as I was.

King Edgar seemed enamored by the machinery in the ruined city. He sent me away to find out if anything similar had happened anywhere. So I left, and visited several cities without finding anything. But on my way from Tzen to Albrook, while I was travelling past Kefka's Tower, a black void appeared in the sky. And the entire tower and the surrounding landscape was swallowed into the void, and me along with it.

It gets hazy after that. There was a voice, talking about combining the worlds. Somehow I woke up and found myself in a cave somewhere west of here, and wandered around until I was able to sneak onboard this airship. The captain found me stowed away, but let me stay. I think his name was Cid? Anyway, it's good to talk to someone who's heard of Narshe!

Khos, RabitZ & MrChearlie
After shelling out for the item shop, Duonce bows graciously, and vows to serve the Warriors of Dawn until his horrible death.

MrChearlie, Allen Hunter & Zeuzio
While MrChearlie and Allen vanish below deck to the mess area, Zeuzio and Vivi the turtle vanish below deck to one of the many living quarters. Fancy.

The Rest
As the airship sails aimlessly south, you wander the where Cid is lazily steering, Locke is relaxing, RabitZ is looking at his lighter wallet, and Xavion is staring at loaf of bread.
"Hey, ossan! What's all this earthquake nonsense?"
Cid begins to laugh, "Looks like my lads didn't finish the job, is what!"
"Eh?" Khos crosses his arms. "Just answer the question, old man. We're trying to save the space-time continuum... or something."
"Yar har har, alright boy. Long ago, some kids waving swords and magic tried to save the world from a wave of darkness. Like a cloud of darkness blanketing the sky, but they fought it. Now, there's earthquakes. Looks like somethin's up with the crystals again. I don't profess to be the leadin' expert on them Crystals, but I do reckon you've gotta find 'em all. Matter 'o fact, that's how we found ye. Locke here suggested it, too. Look fer the guys who saved us last time. Well, boy, it all started here at Altar Cave."
"We've just been there."
"Oh, aye. We saw. Surprised ye didn't see us, this here Enterprise ain' no quiet mouse. Anyhow, figured when that earthquake hit, that settled it. So, we're here to help you all out."
"Hmm. Doesn't settle where we head next though."
"No, I reckon it ain't. Just point me in the right direction, an' I'll see we gets there." Cid smacks his jaws with zest, as if to end the conversation.
Khos sighed, and leans against the railing beside Locke. "Alright, I know how we got here. What about you? Maybe that'll give us some clues."
Locke yawns, and recounts his tale.

Down below, you find MrChearlie and Allen Hunter singing a terrible rendition of Aria Di Mezzo Carattere...
After listening to that, you continue on to find a few empty store rooms, and then the living quarters. All of the rooms consist of hammocks and are empty of lootable items. Except one door, which is locked. However, since you are a Thief, you are able to unlock it. Confidently, you stride in, and find Zeuzio half naked. Zeuzio quickly covers up and orders you to leave.
How embarrassing!

Xavion

All this storytelling is all well and good, but it is getting your companions no closer to finding the Crystals or stopping this cataclysm of dimensional proportions. There's nothing else to it. You have to use one of your coveted gnomish bread. As you sink your teeth into the loaf, you feel an odd tingling sensation. However, nothing changes. Not until you have devoured the entire loaf. Suddenly your brain buzzes with sound and music and noise and and and... colour. It swirls around you. Somehow you know where everything is. As if in your minds' eye, you can see the entire world map. (You will receive a PM.)

Storm
You find a nice hammock down below deck with your name all over it. When you wake up, HP/MP and status ailments will all be cured.
I tell Cid to head northwest through the forest to Sassoon Castle east to Kazus before asking Duonce where what the town we just left was called. Also according to the map we've passed 2 towns to get here from Altar Cave, how'd we miss that?
Ha, that was awesome. We rocked. Crashes on a couch somewhere.

Throw the skipper up into the blades and take control of the ship.

I second Xavions suggestion to head east. Seeing as he has seen the world map.

And then I snoop around the lower decks while we wait to get to our destination.
Not really concerned at all with where our next destination is, I lie down in my bed and take a nap. Maybe I'll have a flashback or something?
rabitZ
amusing tassadar, your taste in companionship grows ever more inexplicable

I go to the deck and sing "I'm on a boat".
MrChearlie
Hello I'm Chears, What can't I do for you?

Half of the Gang
While the other half sleeps and aimlessly snoops the empty airship, your half stays on deck to sing a wicked airship song...

Maybe not so wicked...
So anyway, after aiming Cid on the way, his ship propels you onwards. What would have taken hours on foot, now took you a mere 45 minutes.

As you arrive at the next town, Cid sounds a bell to announce the feat. He lowers an anchor in a desert nearby the town, and lowers ropes. Unfortunately, this airship can only land in water. So you'll have to use ropes to access it.

The Party
You are now in the Kazus Desert. Here you find a vast expanse of sand in all directions. According to Cid, the next town is East from here. That's great and all, but well, you are now being attacked by desert monsters. The real classical kind, like bees and berserkers! YES A MONSTER! CRACK YOUR KNUCKLES AND GET READY TO RUMBLE!

Killer Bee (HP:18) (Can cause "Poison" status on attack.)
Berserker (HP:28) (Attacks Randomly every turn.)
Werewolf (HP:24) (May cause "Werewolf" status effect.)

Slowly circle the Killer Bee while making 'woooooo whooaaaaa' sounds and flicking my nose with my thumb, then attack the Bee with Repeating Fist!
I offer a piece of dried meat to the Werewolf as a sign of peace.

Is there a specific game that my skills will come from or really anyway of telling whether I'll be able to copy their skills as currently I'm a wizzard and I don't think normal wizzard strategy would work very well here.

I get out my attack dog, BARK, and tell it to lunge at the BERSERKER.
I use Accumulate.

It's time to get srs.

Yay, monsters! Wait, no, I mean, oh no, monsters!

I want to steal, but I think I'll wait until one of the enemies is dead. Safer that way.

For now, Locke joins the fray with a little stabbity-stab-stab vs. the killer bee.
