Yeah I don't know wtf I'm doing too, and I'm just as exasperated as you are.
but it seemed to me pretty much in control until you threw "lynch chana" without the smallest reason in the world and undoing what had been laboriously built up until then, at least that's the way I see it..?

You are Mail Jeevas, better known as Matt, Mello's best friend. You were helping Mello try to catch Kira before, but you're not liking this ordeal with shinigamis and games. You focus now is getting yourself and Mello out of the Yellow Box, either with Kira or the police by your side. You're a spy, so your skills should come in handy while trying to figure out who's who.
Power:
Gathering information. You can check somebody's alignment each night. Will return Kira follower, Mafia, or Police
Win Conditions:
- Way of the Mafia: Must be alive at the end of the game. Can win with either Kira or the police.
- Mello's best buddy: Mello must be alive at the end of the game.

You stalk CAVE_DOG_IS_BACK for a while, and see him getting out of bed. You see him getting up and meeting with people, although you're not sure who they are. You hear them talk: "So, who do you think we should kill tonight?" "I'm not sure, yet..." Someone looks your direction, so you get out of there and go back to sleep immediately, but the info you got was very interesting...
CAVE_DOG_IS_BACK is totally a Kira supporter
