More like captcha tho. Some people, like me are visually impaired and it is sometimes very hard to make sense out of captcha, like here:
And yes, that's the very captcha I am seeing now. It would be wise to develop some kind of automated mechanism that would disable captcha/antibot verification after certain conditions are met (e.g. user has written X posts or solved X CAPTCHAs correctly).

It's not a perfect option, but do you find it helpful to click the 'sound' button and have the captcha read it to you?
Can't you get a new one until you can read it?

The garbage on the side is intentional. Last time I got it I ignored it and only put in the actual word and got past the captcha just fine. The garbage is likely to screw up scanners that read captcha images and try to generate the captcha text for bot spam.
