AND YOU ARE...? (THE INTRODUCTION THREAD)

I am Twigstar3131. I haven't touched RPG maker in a long time, but I feel like kicking around with it again to occupy the vast amount of free time I may or may not have in the evenings and weekends if, and when my monthly wage has been drained on innocuous, but more often noxious amenities I dulge in on the beginning of each calender month.

I am living in Bordon, Hampshire, England for the time being (For the next 9 months - Then God knows where I'll go...Probably Germany) - But have only been dwelling here since November last year. Before my travels have brought me around England (North, south and midlands), Wales (Cwmbran), and for 3 and a half years prior - Pottering around Southern Florida (Palm Beach way).

I am a few credits away from getting my Ba in Computer Science, but grew tired and wearisome, and decided to join the British Army, for whom I am under contract now.

I have not touched a programming language since last summer, C++ being my forte, and I have just begun to shake the rust from my fingers and brain. However, I did not pick up programming to be a programmer for gaming purposes (Not that I am vehement against it) - I just like the logistics of it all. Not to say I hate making games, because clearly, I don't - Otherwise my presence here would be pretty perturbed. I see myself as a writer, an imaginative person. So to quickly use a system such as RPG Maker(which, I reiterate, I have not used since the 2000 edition), is appealing to me. Quick and easy to portray a story in a graphical context.

Anyway, that's me. I hope to enjoy the palaver of this forum, and I hope to get my hands on the funny little game maker, which I prowl through the internet for now.

I've been using RPG Maker since the early days of 1995. I've worked on several projects and gone through hundreds of sites and names... so, I've been around. I remember being a member of RPG Maker.net back in the early years, but I have no idea what my name used to be. I'm currently working on a project, and I hope to post it up soon!

Closing Thoughts:
Don't be baffled by this, I'm just the same as anyone else. I just enjoy thinking in an unorthodox manner. I do dislike the things I like in some way and vice versa. Bananas are the only fruit I absolutely cannot eat.
...I have never released an RPG Maker game. My first RPG Maker was XP. I consistently use RPG Maker 2003 as of last year. I do not have a favorite game yet, commercial or otherwise. I am the most easygoing person I know, so I should like 99% of you.
I guess time will tell if 99% of you will like me.

Hi. I'm Venyux, a 14 years old boy. I'm living in France, started to learn English 1 year ago, so, if you see some spelling mistakes in my posts, please excuse me. :P

I use RPG Maker since hum... 2006? And used a lot of other makers (Game Maker, I'm still using it at the present time), Sphere RPG Engine, and gave a little shot to Ika months ago.

Also have used some programming languages (for games I mainly used C# .Net and Python), for the rest, PHP and some XHTML and CSS for websites (though the both last ones aren't programming languages).

Well, that's about all about me, if you have questions, just ask. ;)

Hi. Sometimes I like to start making games but then I stop. I have been using RPG Maker since I think 2005? I still haven't completed any games though. Lately I've been messing around with RMVX.

Aside from that, uh, I'm 15 and live in Washington and my favorite game ever is GOD HAND. I read Toothpaste for Dinner (what my sig is from if you didn't know). That's about it.
