Wells Fargo keeps trying to get me to get a consolidation loan, but it never goes through (bad credit, I suppose). Put in a good word for me.

Also, I feel so old...

Wells Fargo Bank or Financial? Bank is our prime lender. Normally they refer failed attempts at credit to WF Financial, because we're the subprime lender.

That said, we have the most conservative underwriting by a long shot between the major sub-prime lenders. So yeah, even WFF can't help some people. I've made nice commissions on mortgages and consolidation home equity loans for people with 450(!!!) credit scores (lowest you can have) but have other factors, such as income, non-real estate equity, and recent payment history that allows their requests for credit get through underwriting.

Try WF Financial. If we can't do it, DiTech.com can. But they are a doomed enterprise. Don't be suprised if some of those exotic loans they offer get bought out by Wells Fargo anyway. Lol.

My name's John Clifford and I'm a 22 year old male from Elgin in the northeast of Scotland. I've been engaged to a 27 year old American woman called Melissa who I met on Yahoo Messenger for about 3 years now. I have a GSVQ in computing and am currently working for Carlton Bingo mainly as a cashier/caller, but I do other stuff too. I have a work blog at http://shakeyourballs.blogspot.com

My interests are game making, composing music, drawing, listening to music, MMORPGs, reading, writing, horse riding and hanging around with friends, although I don't really have all that many of them these days.

I stumbled upon the community in around 2001, when my friend (who isn't a friend any more for reasons I won't go into) and I were looking for a program that would let us make an RPG we'd been brainstorming. It actually started life as a QBasic project called Dark Legend. After a while we refined the characters and story and called it Tundra instead. It was still incredibly cliche, but we didn't realise that at the time.

Anyway, I found rm2k while looking for decent programs and joined Don's boards. I couldn't think of a username, but I was kind of a fan of Dragonball Z at the time and was reading an article about the fictional sequel Dragonball AF in which a new character was mentioned called Trihan. I thought it sounded pretty cool, so I adopted it as my online alias and have been using it ever since.

I'm also a total Nintendo fanboy.

My name's Tim Stephens, 22 (soon to be 23), and I'm a New Yorker. I live with my parents, which is sometimes cool but sometimes not. My interests include art, games (obviously), writing and reading, though I'd like to do more of the latter two.

My major area of interest is art, which I hope to make into an actual career someday. While I've always had an interest in drawing and the like, I didn't really get serious about it till I was 19~20. Since then I've been drawing much more, but I could still use quite a lot of work. I have just been accepted into an Animation program with an 11% acceptance rate, and will be attending in the Fall. I also have an AA in Graphic Design, which is sort of a backup...I guess, though I still need more practice in this area. If I don't like animation I'll probably transfer into some kind of new media/interactive media design program.

I'm currently 'employed' at my parents' gift shop, but I'll be working in the local Hall of Justice soon on a temp basic before school starts. Generic paperwork stuff I guess.

As for the RM* community, I initially discovered it in like 1999-2000. I downloaded RM95, found it almost entirely unusable, and vanished for a fair length of time. After awhile I came back to find RM2k had been released, and was a lurker at the original rpgmaker.net until it died. Then I started going to GW, and eventually became a regular poster, where I became a part of the Fading Shadows fiasco. When GW started sucking more then usual, I started hanging out in #rm2k, where I am still a regular. While I (think) I have cool ideas, I've never released anything of merit, though I've been a contributor to most of BadLuck's projects.

And that's about it I guess.
I'm Elijah. I'm 13 years old (yeah young). I live in Canoga Park, California. I love to draw on paper and on paint. I go on my laptop for like 24/7 and I have a lot of knowledge about computers. My favorite sport is basketball. I'm also an anime fanatic and music lover. I like acting retarded in school and freaking out everyone with my friends ^^

Thats pretty much the basic info on me.
My name is Ian, and I'm a 16 year old high school student from Utah. Yes, I'm a Mormon, and an active one at that. I just recently got my driver's license and I'm currently looking for a job so I can spend all my money on all the new games that are coming out.

I've been a gamer my whole life, and always will be one. My first console was a Sega Genesis that I got when I was 3(my dad is a gamer also, thus the early age), and I've been an avid gamer since. I love RPGs, Action/Adventures, Tactical RPGs, FPSs, RTSs, MMOs, ect. Honestly, I really just play fun games, which I find in all shapes, forms, and sizes. Some of my favorite games are Final Fantasy Tactics, the Zelda series, the Final Fantasy series(I separated FFT for a reason), the Halo series, Show of the Colossus, Oblivion, and many, many more. I own something like 180 games, so it's hard to single out favorites.

I've always wanted to make games, and about 5 years ago I found RPG Maker. I've never completed anything, and most of my games never get past the concept stage. I'm far too interested in the design part of games, and therefore I've never actually gotten to the production phase. I'm beginning to get out of this rut, though. I'm currently working on a game in RPG maker that is actually seeing progress. I have also begun to learn 3D modeling and C++ programming. I plan to become a professional game developer.

Apart from games, I'm very into music. Specifically, I'm into various kinds of rock, mostly Prog/Post Metal. My favorite bands are Isis, Mastodon, Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Radiohead, and I like far, far more than just those. I'm also into model making, specifically Warhammer, a fun miniature wargame.

Yeah, I think that's it.
My name is Johnathan August Fisher, and I'm a 17 year old currently going to high school. I'm an Athiest and do enjoy a good theological discussion here and there, but for the most part simply live and let live. I am an avid driver, and currently trying to save up some cash to do all sorts of ridiculous things to my car.

My alias, Lega, is actually shortened down from Legato, which is taken from Legato Bluesummers. (At the time I was completely in love with Trigun (which, to some extent, has changed)). I enjoy a little bit of everything, but have yet to really find any niche that I'm good at.

I have always been a gamer. The first system I ever played on was a NES, and the fond memories of playing Contra and Ninja Gaiden late into the night still delight me to this day. Throughout the years I moved onto more advanced consoles, and when I finally obtained a computer the floodgates opened- in one fell swoop I tried to learn as much as I could about gaming, programming, and anything computer related. Sadly, without practice, any skills I once had have completely atrophied, and I have yet to relearn anything (although I plan on it, I swear!). I love a good LAN party and am currently console gaming on the Xbox 360.

I got started in the RPG Maker community back in 1998 when I was but a wee lad of 8 years. I downloaded RM95 and became instantly smitten with it, and later moved onto rm2k. I've been making games ever since, and one day hope to refine my skills to the point that I will be able to create games for a living. (Let it be known that I have never actually finished a game, although I have started numerous projects and various demos.)

I suppose that is all I really have to say about myself.

I am an amateur pixel artist, and specialize in animation. (see my work there: http://www.pixeljoint.com/p/4628.htm?pg=1&sec=icons
Ive been trying to make games for quite a few years now, and only finished one, Sluggy's Adventure ( http://www.rpgmaker.net/games/114/ ). I got three other playable projects hosted here, chekk em out.
(Coincidentally, Erave here, starter of this topic, is the one who provided most of the music for my only finished game. Yay Erave!)

I'm into quite a variety of different design platforms regarding games, notably Game Maker and flash, and I also know C# and a little of Java, a hint of web scripting, and of course GML, the scripting language of Game Maker.
I can design web sites, though I don't have much to show in this area except my own personal website here (its empty of content, pretty much just a fun layout): http://www.frankiesmileshow.leafo.net/

Now about myself, in the arrogant thought that it might interest anyone:
My real name is Francis Coulombe, 19 years old, from Quebec, Canada, live in a quiet little suburban town called Varennes. I attend College Édouard-Montpetit, and passed 4 semesters in computer science, before switching next semester for multimedia.
I am a proud atheist, a gamer, my first language is French and my spoken English is pretty bad, I read Sci-Fi novels (exclusively from the horribly huge German series Perry Rhodan) and like progressive rock.
Psychoskull :).

Too bad the music I wrote for your game is pretty terrible. Fun game though! Everyone should play it!
NOTE that this is pretty much pasted from elsewhere because I'm too lazy to write it up again. :x

I was first introduced to the RPGMaker series in mid-2000 by a friend, and after staying up the entire night at his house experimenting, I was hooked. I joined the internet communty in the summer of 2001, after spending about half a year or so lurking around various sites, doing my best to learn as much as I could. I jouned a site called Dark Dominion, using the name EvincarOfEarth. Some time passed, and I released a demo of my game Alnetak Moon, which was well-recieved and above the standards of the time. I also released an ABS minigame demo and a minigame styles after Space Invaders (called Face Invaders, using emoticons). Soon I was promoted to moderate the Game Projects forum, and then the RM2K/3 Help forum, and then the Literature forum. Finally I was promoted to a full staff member. Unfortunately the site died soon after as the administrator lost interest.

During this time, I began really joining other forums and posting elsewhere, including Gaming World, War of the Magi, and even Gaming Ground Zero, as well as countless smaller forums (this was also the time when Evincar molded into the name Evega. I consider the two names to be of the same era of my online career).

I had my own site, called Epoch Studios for some time after the fall of Dark Dominion. It was spriting-based, following one of my interests, and it got a large community. Many of them "refugees" from the old site. Eventually the old administrator of Dark Dominion regained interest in having a website and created a place called Dev Empire. I let Epoch Studios go down in order to support the Dev Empire member base. I was staff there, but the community had a hard time holding itself together. During my time there, I released the demo of a game called Dev Empire Dance Revolution, a dancing game programmed in RM2K3 with original graphics. Eventually, though, the community fell apart. And sick of the drama, I left for a time.

By then I had been a member of rmxp.net for a time, and it was during this time that I began posting more. I began using the name Ionem, trying to drop my Dev Empire/Dark Dominion roots. During this transitional time, I released a demo of my first RMXP game, Dreams of Nevendria and became a Moderator of RMXP.net's RMXP sections, during the same clump promotion of members such as Showkaizer. I think this the promotion of multiple members at once really began to mark that RMXP.net was accepting its role as one of the "big" sites.

I modded for some time, then offline reasons forced me to take a long break. I faded away from the scene, and was eventually demodded. I returned months later as Despain, finally having settled into the me that you today. By now I had a different outlook on the internet- one that is less focused on internet drama and accepts the fact that 'it's just the internets' and nothing to get too serious about. This is very freeing- it lets me just say what needs to be said without worrying about garbage like forum politics. Sometimes I might even just stir up trouble to see how others react, but nothing ever seriously malicious. It's all just about fun and humor now. Things have been a lot easier for me in this time.

I've been banned from RMXP.net for continually being myself- giving harsh and very real criticism that many children couldn't take, making jokes that lots of children would get offended by, and criticizing the administration. It was that last bit that pushed me over the edge, so to speak, and led to the ban. Even though I am banned there, I am still in contact with that community, though, often popping up in their irc channel to idle or making a new account on the forums just to read the goings-on.

Now, I am the owner/administrator of Rhino Cap (http://www.rhinocap.net), and mainly an active member here and GW.

And now we're at the fun part.

I've got a good number of years of RPGMaker experience behind me, and I've mastered just about everything in the program. I consider myself a decent spriter and a very good writer. I admit that I'm often a mean-spirited and seemingly hateful dude, sometimes, and definitely an elitist. I do not believe in sugar-coating criticism; I'll often be harsh even to my friends because I think that you should tell someone if something is bad.

I'm a sophomore in my fourth semester at college (Southern CT), majoring in English and hopefully soon Graphic Design. I consider RPGMaking a hobby, not a career path. That's why I use the program; it lets me tell stories and put my graphics to use, and I do it for fun. And yes, I use the legal version.

I'm John, I'm 18 and go to community COLLEGE in New York. I still live with my parents, which kinda sucks because I'm broke dammit. Anywho I hang out a lot in #rm2k and I'm usually playing basketball or something when I'm not online. My jump shot ain't nothin' to fuck with.
My usual name alias is Ashen, but it's a little too late to make that my nickname amongst my friends. Well, they say it every once in a while, but it's not the main one. I'm 17 years old and about to go into my senior year of high school. I live in southern Maryland, about 17 miles (whatdaya know) south of Annapolis. Yeah, I'm a country bumpkin. I don't have anyone I'm attached to... yet. I'm still waiting for an answer, but I'll see the person in question at Otakon this week. I have a weird mental thing in that I can't exactly decide what gender I actually am (gender != physical sex), so I weave back and forth between female and male tendencies. It can really be a pain in the butt, sometimes. >.<

My schoolwork is my job, so I really don't have an "official" one. More than likely, however, next summer before college, I'll be working at random camps and maybe snag a job at the local (meaning the closest) GameStop or something. I got along pretty well with the staff at one of them. No idea if the guy I was talking to was the manager or not, though. As for during the school year, I'm a musician, and a virtuous one at that (my main instrument is the bassoon, though I play just about every other instrument in the orchestra). All my concerts, plus my college auditions this year, not to mention all the other school functions I do, like the marching band, drama productions, and such, means I really don't have all that much time for a job.

I'd consider myself a casual gamer, since I don't play video games ALL the time. Though, I do play a lot. My main love is RPGs, but I do daddle about in fighters and platfomers. I also enjoy a good skateboarding game every once in a while. I suck at FPSes, but if it's one of those "respawn" type games, then I'm the kamikaze. I'm a devout Pokemon game fan (though I really should play my Pearl more often), and the anime can rot in a pit of lye and feces. I do love anime, though, hence why I'm going to Otakon. Oh, and cute things. Cute things rule.

I joined the community back in the beginning of 2005 on the now defunct RMD (RPG Maker Downloads). In February, I joined Kobra's Realm, of which I'm now the head of the forums. If I remember correctly, I was also the first person to get a staffing job there as quick as I did (about four months). In August of 2005, I joined GamingW so I could post my fix for my Release Something Else! demo release of my game (which is now completely different, all things considered). And in April of 2006, I joined #rm2k, as per an invitation from iishenron (during the Ep. 6 release party in #theway). Even though I haven't been around the community that long, I have a pretty broad knowledge of what's happened, though I'm still learning about the very beginnings of the community (like Don's, NeXus, and such).

I've been working on my current (and first) game for about two years now. I'm not going to say when I'm going to be done, 'cause as the wiseman Michaelangelo once said: "It'll be done when it's done." I'm aiming for before I leave for college, though.

As for what I hope to do with my life, I'm definitely going to college (either Towson U., UoMemphis, or UoMiami, FL). I still have to figure out exactly what path I want to put myself on, though. I could go one of my original routes and major in music composition all the way up to my doctorate and teach college; I could double-major in music composition and linguistics, move to Kyoto and teach there; I could major in music comp for two years, then change to pre-law and become a student advocate; I could major in music comp and write music for films/TV/radio; I could even stick with maybe getting up to a Master's and teaching high school music. There's, like, a LOT of things that I'd like to do, but I have to figure out exactly what. At least I've got a few years to decide.

My hobbies include surfing the Interwebs, working on my game, chatting in the IRC, finding cute pictures on random imageboards, writing up articles on Tri-A (my website), playing random RPGs, reading, writing (words and music), and everything music.

... I think I covered everything. <.<

Guess I don't have to buy the book when it comes out now, trance.
Oh, trust me, the official biography will have a lot more, including me taking over the known universe and killing off all the sarcastic people. >D Oh, and the release of SW in 20003.
Trance. All "unfinishable" game projects must be completed/released in 20005, not 20003. It's a rule. It's when Line's End, Reve (and basically every other Seventh Wish game), Hurricane Simeon and Taret Blade are all being released, anyway. Whether or not Lys has "abondoned" ABL is a moot point because Club 20005 is all-powerful.
I thought Line's End was 20001, and therefore if I release in 20003, then I'll be free of all the hype from the release of Line's End. <.< It appears that I am incorrect!

Why Not!

28 (yes, old) year old male from Southern NJ. I've been doing this on and off since 1998! I was first inspired by an article in a 1995 issue of Nintendo Power about RPG Tsukuru Super Dante for the Super Famicom. When I first read the article I was super excited...I immediately started to write my RPG...I drew maps on graph paper, wrote dialog, created items/monsters/characters/spells (I might even still have the stuff somewhere...). Three years later we got our first computer and the Internet! I immediately began searching for a way to obtain RPG Tsukuru Super Dante when I came across ROMs and emulation! I could never really get the game to work right...but that was OK because in my search I game across RPG Haven, KanjiHack, and RPG Maker 95!! I've only ever released two demos to the public, both RPG Maker 95 games (Ancient Evil and Valkyrie's Sword). Ancient Evil featured the first moving water tile effect! Like WIP mentioned we had a site together for a while (don't know how it worked, we never really got along! lol) After that I created a few sites of my own: Ankylo's Realm, RPG Tsukuru Vault...I also formed a group of RPGmakers called the Bluemages where people could pool their ideas and talents to work on games together. It died rather quickly ;D. Anyway, I was also a part of The NeXus with Holbert, I was the midi guy (I scoured random Japanese sites looking for nifty midis to...ahem...borrow... 8) )

I currently have a few games in the works...Ruin's End (rm2k...been working on this for a few years now...) and Moloch Trinity (just started this one, should probably have finished the other one first!)
maybe I will add them to the site...

Huzzah!! I am no longer the oldest!
I am 21 year old named Brandon Abley from Wisconsin.

I'm pretty gorgeous and people usually like me! Online, I have a tremendous ability to gain peoples' respect and then very quickly lose it. I spend most of my time online arguing with WIP over what qualifies a video game library on 360 as "diverse" or not.

I am a music major in college, but I'm pretty terrible with just about every instrument. I sing fairly well, but I always freak out during juries and get low marks for intonation. I failed composition last semester. Nontheless, I'm still confident that I'm a pretty brilliant composer. Claude Debussy failed composition when he was in college!

I lived a life that would have made Charles Dickens very proud, which recently turned completely around! I live with my girlfriend of two and a half years. It's not a very interesting relationship so I won't divulge!

I own all five next-generation handheld and desktop video game consoles, which I think gives me greater legitimacy in online flame wars about said topic, and is my primary asset as a human being.

I am making a game in RPG Maker XP which, by this site's standards, I guess is technically commercial or something. I've been involved with the RM community at some level since I was about 12 or 13 or something, like most of you. Also, like most of you, it's an unhealthy obsession and one that I might have been better off without.
