This is my first forum post...ever.

I go by Quiversee, or whatever shortened version you like. Thst's all I have to say about me!
Ummm....welcome then.
*tries to think of clever nickname*
I will call you Quee. That actually sounds kinda cute. v.v It's one letter of from Squee.

Like I said, whatever you like. Typing Quiversee over and over again is annoying. It is kinda long!

Eh, well I've seen longer usernames. Thus, most forums have a fairly short username character limit or you get decorative names like XxXxXxXxXxWasteofSpaceOnYourForumXxXxXxXxXx.
So you arent that bad off.
Hello there. I'm Meredith Dickey. I don't what to say about me for I am very shy. Um, I'm in between school at the moment and thinking of either going into med school or working as a Preschool Teacher aide. Note sure which though....

Greetings Meredith. If you want money and no life, go to med school. If you want a life and no money, go into teaching. If you want money and a life, teach at med school.
I was once interested in being a school teacher too. But that never worked out as i am now a chef. Oh well.
Teaching is my backup plan, in case robotics doesn't pan out.
Robotics sounds very interesting. Used to have a friend that was interested in that topic.
It's always been an interest of mine.

Robotic Vision is an interesting specialty, and also one of the most critical hurdles for autonomous robots right now.

It's quite amazing to learn just how sophisticated and complicated our vision system is! We have near instant shape recongnition, precise focusing, auto color correction (this is where gamma correction for monitors and the like come from), a vast range of light sensitivities, and excellent depth perception. It's amazing how our eyes came to be what they are today.

And then to ponder that many other animals have even better vision...crazy.

PS. Not that I'm a Creationist or something. But it is astonishing!
Robotic vision is definately a hard topic. In my high school's robotics team, I am actually the autonomous specialist and vision specialist. I am responsible for making it react to a light, move towards it, and command it to react at a certain distance by calculating angles. I only had six weeks last year, and couldn't get it right on time, but I came close. This year, I plan on doing better. By the way, I am currently a junior.
Well *ahem*

Hi all! I'm MaSTA SoLIDUS, and I'm new to RMN (obviously). I've heard things about this site, and when I finally bought RMXP, I figured I'd need to join a community to shocase my wares, share thoughts, and mingle with game creators (my main online stomping ground--Sportsgamer.com--isn't to conducive to creative thought lol).

I think I'm a fairly creative and opinionated guy, so hopefully I can contribute to this site, and soon.

I've already begun work on a project, so any beginning pointers would be appreciated! Oh, and I'm willing to help any others on projects if I can. I dabble in Photoshop and Music Production a bit too.

As far as a nick, some say Masta, some say Solidus, some say MS...whatever tickles your fancy :)
Nice to meet you, Masta! Can't wait to see what kind of stuff you're capable of in RMXP!

Is your CaPS LocK key broken?

Welcome to RMN.
Nah lol. It's been MaSTA SoLIDUS for a long time now, and I can't remember why I did it like that in the first place, so I figured, might as well stay consistent :P
Understand. My other name is AopCDqr7.... odd, isn't it?
I used it in a game as my character's name when I was very young... and I still use it sometimes today!
Hi all!

Name's Huepow00.
I'm 20yrs. old.

I delve often into making music, either in MP3 or midi formats... or whatever else I need to convert to. lol.
I also draw (though my scanner's broke, so I'm stuck with digital art as of late)
I've been using RM2K exclusively for about 4 or so years it seems like... I've only recently jumped into RM2K3 because 1 of the games I was making involved alot of things that were quickfix's in 2K3, so it made the jump.
I'm also learning Game Maker7.0pro for another new project of mine, a scrolling shooter. Unfortunatly, all that exists of the game thusfar are mockup screenshots and lots of 3D modeles and resources I've created. (I use Farbrausch's demotool, the werkkzeug1 for 3D stuff and texture Generation...tho thats more of the wz3TE.)

I'm currently working on 3 games (4 if you count the Scrolling shooter) - They are each 40% - 60% complete.
So I'll be leaning into those here when I can...

I'll try and upload some of my music when I get the chance as well.

It's good to be here!

EDIT: Oh, about my games! ^_^

Klonoa FanRPG - Fangame based on the Klonoa of the Wind franchise. It's set in the future and isn't as childlike as the actual games.

Avalon R..E..M..A..K..E - The original game, released in 1998 and winner of the ZDNet Shareware Award in 2000 was a huge inspiration to me. With the creators overwhelming agreement, I had started this fanremake to re-create the ole' DOS game in RM2k. newer credits of course to those supplying new graphics.

Kirby: The Dreamland Effect
- One of my most challenging projects to-date. this RM2K3 rpg/puzzle game has working Copy Abilities outside of battles that are used to solve puzzles and pass each stage.

Einhander: die Mondkrieg
- Still under development (I'm actually waiting on my lead programmer, ProjectShadowBlaze) This will be my biggest jump yet, right to GameMaker. It's a Scrolling Shooter fangame to honor the classic 'Einhander' by Squaresoft.
Let me be the first to say welcome to the forum. Those games you are currently making look very good especially the kirby one. Be looking forward to playing it if you submit the game to the site.

I welcomed him first in a PM. I win.

Welcome to RMN.
I guess I'll do this.

Hey. My name's Davin Stephens. I'm 23, and from South Shore, Kentucky. I've been in the RPG Making community since mid-2000. I found Don's forums through the MUGEN community and never looked back. I didn't really stay much at the forums, but I'm pretty much an oldbie of the IRC channel.

My favorite RM game of all time is A Blurred Line, and I eagerly await Line's End's 20005 release. I don't remember the FIRST RM game I've played, but I'm sure it was pretty shitty. I DO know that MY first RM game was pretty shitty, too. Also: I don't make many games.

I like to draw sometimes. I also draw a webcomic that I'll be ceasing to neglect here soon, too.

I'm also a gigantic fan of robots and robot related things.
