AND YOU ARE...? (THE INTRODUCTION THREAD)

Welcome aboard, Myers/Person That Joined Two Months Before I Did. If you don't have anything to do, you could always try downloading Mujin Wakusei Survive. Even if you don't like anime, you will enjoy Mujin Wakusei.
I would, WIP, but I've lost interest in Kinetic Cipher now that Brick has abandoned the project. I wish that I'd have learned of how frustrated he was before he canned the game, I could have given KC the attention he wanted. If a review (and more indulgent fans) could spark Brick's enthusiasm back up I'd be happy to write up a review and participate, but given that he hasn't even signed in for six months to the day he seems pretty resolute in his decision.

Casey. Anyone who was on the KC(A) boards is a friend here! Go write a review on it and get more people to play it.

I think Brick cancelling his project has a lot more to do with him getting a serious girlfriend than it does with the interest level in his game.
Just saying.
author=brandonabley link=topic=118.msg6629#msg6629 date=1198270980I doubt it. If he can make time to get 240 stars in Super Mario Galaxy in a week or so, he has plenty of time to work on KC(A).

First I've heard of the new girlfriend (I'm not exactly Mr. Road's friend or anything), but... no, unless everyone is mistaken, it's been clearly stated multiple times that that's why he quit the project and posted a number of spoilers about the game.
Espio here.
Been familiar with RPGMaker for about 11 years. Used to chat with Kanji and company when RPG95+ was in the works. Was around RPGMaker.net during the glory days back between 98-02...somehow that went down. Then I was involved with Holbert, Anky and WIP until I went off to college.
Now I sit in graduate school, with a degree in Biology. It'll be nice to talk RPGMaking again. Perhaps this will help rekindle some of the old guys from the past with the best of the new.
Hats off.

Congrats on the the degree and getting into graduate school. I can remember back when you were nervous applying for college. What school are you at now? Same?

My name is Joel. I'm 19, Korean and I attend Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey, majoring in Computer Science. My life and hobbies are all over the place: programming (C++, PHP and Python), video games (RPGs and FPSs), music (guitar), sports (tennis) but most importantly Christ. Yeah, I'm a Christian. I don't believe in denominations or rituals or traditions when it comes to Christianity. I believe that Scripture is inerrant and sufficient and I don't live by what "christians" tell me to do, but by what Scripture says.
I'm still a fun guy though. Really. =)

Welcome to RMN, Sirion. What part of Jersey in Stevens Institute in? I will assume it's somewhere in the void of North Jersey. We love us some python here - the entire site is built with it (save for the forums).
We don't talk about religion that much here. Not because we're trying to censor it, but rather because it usually leads to some braindead arguement between believers andinfidels non-believers.
Happy posting!

Stevens is in Hoboken, in the Hudson County/Bergen County area, right along the Hudson River. I can see Manhattan across the river from my dorm room. =)
Hello, I'm Michael from Indonesia, attending at Bina Nusantara University, as an assistant laboratory.
I'm majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics (Double-degree). I've been playing with my PHP for almost 3 years and for gaming, I took RPGMaker2k from 2002, had some games made with it. I've been moving to RM2k3 and RMXP but haven't released any. Maybe I'll do my next game in RMVX when it come out this February.
Currently making a server-based racing game for my project (as an assistant laboratory), then I'll continue my pending projects in RMVX. (or RMXP until I got a copy of RMVX)

Hi. I'm Josh. I live in central Illinois, in the US of A. I'm a middle-aged restaurant manager, and I've only recently started using RPG Makers. I have completed one game, and I probably ought to upload it here, for more experienced types to rip to shreds, in the hopes that I'll learn something.
(The game I finished is short, and not terribly ambitious. But I learn by doing. My next project is larger, and will take longer.)
Uh, hi, everyone.

Hey, I am Jason, I live in Georgia and am a sophomore at college. Have been messing with RPG Maker for a couple of years and am finally on track to finish something (though, still won't be for a while). Figured why not get some advice and criticisms on my game to make it the best I can.
My name is Adrian Clyde, I'll be 20 next month, and I live in Baltimore, Maryland.
Let's see...I'm a sophomore in college, my major is psychology. I love English, I'm good in History, I can handle a little bit of science, but Math is dreadful and I'm thankful I'll never have to look at another math problem again.
My goal in life is to be a screenwriter, and I'd really like to act, but I don't know if I can act. :D
Right now, I'm writing a story called "Forbidden," that I want to publish before I graduate college.
