WHAT!? Sonic doesn't use weapons in Shadow the Hedgehog the first level Westopolis they made Sonic inexplicably say "I wouldn't be caught ever using a weapon"

Don't even consider that game to be canon, seriously. Anyway I'm kind of wondering why the fuck Sonic would even need a sword, isn't his spikes enough to cut through metal?
I can just imagine a Sonic Team conference.

Man, I know hating on Sonic is the thing to do these days, but did no one else see the picture of a giant blue cartoon hedgehog with a big freaking sword?
There is plenty of potential in that concept to make the Army of Darkness of video games. This might be the title that catapults Sega from fallen greats into masters of camp classicry.

When as was the last time a Sonic Game was canon with all these new characters and concepts its a wonder why I still play as Sonic in SSBB. >:(

Seriously. Its amazing what drastic directions theyve been taking some games lately. First i thought it was crazy giving shadow guns in that one sonic game, and now this crap? This is too drastic of a change. Its like it wont even be a sonic game anymore.

I have only played two Sonic games, the first was Sonic Adventures on PC, and the other was Sonic Heroes os PS2. The older versions on SNES and PC were the best.

it's a shame, because this would be a really good look for their RPG franchise if it were an elseworlds approach. Making it a cannon entry seems worrying though.
I hope Shadow fucks up the Black Knight with guns and Sonic says, 'Awww man, I wanted to use this muthafuckin sword, goddammit! Shit.'
