COOL LOOKING GAMEPROFILES

I've been meaning to ask you guys this for some time, but...

What do you think are some of the coolest looking gameprofiles on RMN?

I remember being impressed way back when by Catharsis's style. And Nessiah's gameprofiles always look slick. And Hero's Realm has the best background ever

Porcupine Princess: http://rpgmaker.net/games/3827/
Catharsis: http://rpgmaker.net/games/3027/

And I know I have come across several other cool looking or clever gameprofiles, but never took the time to note them.

What are some you've liked? (cue GRS linking Action 52)

EDIT:
Related question: do you have a gameprofile you are particularly proud of?
For me it was Befuddle Quest 6 - http://rpgmaker.net/games/4531/

To be honest, the only game page I ever remember is... space funeral...

I guess that's a testament to its effectiveness? Not to mention that sort of ludicrous non-sequitur madness matches the game well.

I really need to learn some CSS. At least enough to give my gamepages a custom background.
Game profiles that have spinning, glowing, zooming elements and the like are waaay over produced. I prefer stuff like Catharsis and Befuddle Quest 6.

The thing is, I suck at CSS so all I ever do is change the image for the header, the bacground colour for the header and add a backdrop to the page. I always found it extremely difficult to recruit CSS help on RMN, so I just stopped bothering after a while.

If you want a testament to how bad at webpage stuff I am, I got an 18% in my first term's HTML/CSS/Java class. AN EIGHTEEN.

#body { background: url("http://rpgmaker.net/media/content/users/105/locker/map0001_2a.png") repeat !important; }

Also, repeat-x allows you to just repeat along the top, repeat-y for vertical, no-repeat for no repeat (duh), and then you can also specific position like right top, or have it fixed (by using the fixed keyword), change the background color by specifying a color code like #CC00CC.

EDIT: for example from Generica:
background: url("http://rpgmaker.net/media/images/layout/transparent_grid.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 #0066CC !important;
}

I can't remember what scroll 0 0 does

I usually just make a few simple changes like background for my gamepages. I'm kinda proud of how the fixed BG I did for Mirror Boy turned out.

Unity and Pizza, this article might be useful for some of the common CSS changes to gamepages. And if you ever need specific help, feel free to ping me! I've done a lot of CSS, and I'll try my best to help.

ReCrisis has a really cool custom game page. The one exception being the default hyperlink colors.

I need to figure out how to have one single image fixed on the screen like in ReCrisis or Porcupine Princess.

By the way, in case anyone missed it, There's an article on this site showing you the basics of CSS. It's what I learned from when I put CSS on Psychostasis. Granted, all I did was change the colors around and edit the picture highlights, but it's really not as hard as some people might think!

EDIT: Ninja'd by slash.
I really love rhyme's CSS, but aside from LD, I think Efface is one of my favorites.

Thanks, kentona, slash and Red Nova! :D That's enough to let me play around with backgrounds and colors, which is plenty for me! Time for me to go see if I can make the Luxaren Allure page look a little different ^_^

My most proud one was adding a logo to the game profile through CSS before adding game logos through the game profile was a thing. iirc I hid the text of the game name, gave it a background image of the logo, and changed its size and position to where I wanted it to go. No link though, I deleted that gameprofile and the CSS doesn't work anymore anyways.

I did take the tabs part and throw it into this gameprofile. It's not finished and currently busted (again) and sitting in private space for a while, but w/e.

EvilEagles's production. Shippa La Sempu and Alex Gets Oppai are both masterpieces of balanced gamepage design.
I'm pretty proud of my css page http://rpgmaker.net/g/zelda

I can't recall any specific good ones I've seen, but I know I've seen some. Have to agree that having a bunch of elements that zoom in on mouse hover aren't so great. One or two of those is enough.
I can't say I ever paid all that much attention to the overall look of game pages, I care more about the information that it can give me. But this does reminds me I should do something about mine some time... it's still got that empty, white background...
Chain of Retribution has a simple, but nice-looking approach.

This one is just downright chilling.

Darigaaz, ~alter perfect~. I mean, the only thing is does is invert the page, but that's what makes it unique!

I second this. Both of these are probably some of the most polished gamepages on this site.

Yeah I love that page. So cool.

Destitute is pretty darn sassy and moody. Omori is hawt. Valthirian Arc II is quite cute. VorlorN is exceptionally cute because it's made to have somewhat symmetrical elements. The background for Hero's Realm is somewhat cool.
Action 52 RMN is the best and I will not read any argument against it because I went blind a few years ago after opening its profile. http://rpgmaker.net/games/1882/

There's a game profile that's upside down. That one's crazy...

Ooooh, the game page for a certain Heir of KingHair of Kung was amazing. Pity you can't see it anymore (it got changed) but it was incredible.
Such amaze.
Very incred.
All the wonder.
Woooow.

(it was the original upside-down page with yaoi and all kinds of awesome stuff going on.)
