Deadly Sin is a 30+ hour fantasy RPG.
Notable features include:
-100% original soundtrack using high-end VSTs, such as Eastwest Symphonic Orchestra, and Eastwest Ministry of Rock. See website for music player!
-Original custom battle system with attractive, animated player characters
-Threat system: Allows player characters to draw attacks by having higher threat, or vice versa. Threat is gained through damage, healing, and various abilities.
-In depth skill point system: Each PC has a unique skill tree. Invest skill points gained from battle or other means to gain passive and active skills.
-Monster nodes: Every map with random encounters can have the encounters turned off by finding the monster node, which also rewards skill points.

Note from the author:
After the popularity of my first game for RPGmaker2003, Legacies of Dondoran, I knew that making games on my own was something I truly love doing. Deadly
Sin, as a commercial game, is my first adventure into the world of entrepreneurship. That said, I made Deadly Sin because I wanted to make a game that I
feel I'd love to play if someone else made it, and a platform for my music compositions. A truly hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it.
-Harmonic
Oh man, I had no idea this was going to be commercial.
I was just wondering when LoDVX was going to come out... I'm buying this.

WIP already knew about it, Chaos. =)
The website and artwork especially is very impressive, Harmonic. It's price is pretty reasonable, too, so perhaps I'll consider buying this when I have the extra cash!
That website looks really slick (and much nicer than anything I could produce).
How did you go about implementing the 1-hour timelimit for the demo?

Regarding the website:
Gadreel made it. Well, saehral@deviantart.com drew the character art, but the website was built by Gadreel's skilled hand.
Thanks!
Congratulations, man! This looks really awesome, and considering the success of Dondorian, I think you'll make some sweet change from this.
You've movin' on up. Finally got a piece of the pie.

$25NZ so I think I'll pass.. This is just unexpected to be paying for a sequel to a free game. Reminds me of Laxius Force but with some actual quality.
(It's Tau, can't log into my account for some reason)

I managed to make it to Dori before the game quit by itself, I assume because my time was up. I have to say, this is really impressive. The boss fight in the Mausoleum felt a little underwhelming, but it was still fun. The skill tree is really excellent.
I may have to buy this.

Yeah he's not designed to be all that hard. Tutorial boss! And you don't have that great of threat control methods yet so...
How much?
$15? A reasonable price. Don't get me wrong, this looks pro, but I just didn't enjoy the first one enough to spend money on this. Looks like a huge improvement, though.

the music rules :D
-100% original soundtrack using high-end VSTs, such as Eastwest Symphonic Orchestra, and Eastwest Ministry of Rock. See website for music player!no wonder I recognised those samples. this also explains that drum sound :)
Max: Actually, this game is totally stand alone. It's not a sequel, and has very little to do with legacies of dondoran... same author. :P I would hope those who played both would say DS is far superior, but hey, I could be wrong.
Thanks!
Thanks!
It's a tough sell with indie games like this. On one hand, there's a ton of content and it's low-volume and special-interest, so you pay a premium. On the other hand, I can buy much "better" games for the same price (like Brothers in Arms on Steam's weekend deal).
This would be an excellent handheld game, but I can't see myself shackling myself to my computer and really enjoying it. Maybe I'll get it and run it through my TV?

I wanted to get this game, but it seems the website no longer exists. Anyone know why that is?
Nevermind. It seems he's changed websites. Here is the current one: http://www.dancingdragongames.com
