I am leaning more and more towards abstaining for today...
I mean don't follow Shinan's logic regarding random-lynching... maybe that's a legitimate tactic but I don't see it working if we start random-lynching from DAY ONE
what you fellas think?
EDIT: In retrospect, my first question makes me look dumb.
make sure you don't confuse lynch and vote. Nobody has been lynched yet, but many people have been voted.

I guess, after rechecking the thread, that only pokemaniac's lynch is considered as a vote? but it has "\" instead of "/" (technicality????)
Pehaps we could hope for an "official" update from YDS counting the votes to that point and hours remaining, right?

I'm against Ezekiel and Herrick coming forth just yet. That just narrows down the mafia's choice to kill someone of value instead of someone who's potentially useless. Later on when we need better guidance for our decisions, then it would be valuable.

Okay, just read carefully through the thread so far, more posts than I was expecting. Sorry I haven't posted yet, had to go to visit family who don't own a computer, can you believe that? In this day and age?
Anyway, Shinan and DigitalMonk and are being a bit draft with their voting but as long as this is some sort of "Day one we have no leads" sort of thing (which he said it was) I don't have a problem. I just like to keep a track on who is voting for who, which is difficult when Shinan is voting for three in one post? Glad we have some new players though, that will keep things fresh.

Actually, I don't they should reveal themselves at all (at least not now). Confirmed Townies for us unfortunately also means confirmed Townies for the Mafia. The Mafia are going to be looking for just two roles (Cop and Doctor) best not minimise their search.
The brothers would probably stay alive, since the mafia would then know who NOT to kill and aim for people who are more likely to be important. But hey, I suppose in the end it's up to the "brothers" to decide.
I am just hypothetically bouncing ideas around, but the angel could theoretically be used to unmask people. If we all agree who the angel protects on a night beforehand, and the angel doesn't die, we have a confirmed townie. If the angel dies, we at least get to kill a witch out of the deal. It's a gamble, but until the cop comes forward the angel can't help much.

one would expect they'd go straight for the brothers. having a confirmed innocent so early in the game would strengthen the town's organizational power considerably, and the witches would be foolish to let us get away with that.
Except, the only flaw that I can think of, is if the Angel get's picked off while protecting an innocent, then the innocent get's lynched thinking it was a witch. But then again, I'm sure the death of the Angel would be announced (death by protecting a witch, or by just getting killed by one)
