WHAT'S THE NEW FEATURED GAME?

Zero Base is a pretty rad game.
Sure, he is.
In this case, it probably would be.
EDIT: Although now I've played it, I don't think it could've been made much better with any other engine.

I recommend Forever's End to be featured next month. It's easily one of the greatest games on this site and one of the best RPG experiences I've ever had. I'm sure the exposure will be a good thing for the game and this community.
The site prefers to feature only "completed" games, or games that are otherwise no longer being worked on. Forever's End will be a great choice when it's finished.
I'm throwing in my lot for RE:Alistair++ again.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing it featured now. That way, I could get more people interested in my game and looking forward to the full release. Also, as it is, the game is a relatively complete experience with 15-20 hrs of gameplay; I will just be adding on more in the future.
Also, once a game is featured, it will forever remain in the "featured" category on the site; so people will always know that it was once a featured game.
Anyway, that's just how I feel. It's up to you guys.

We know why being featured is a neat thing =)
My opinion is that if we're going to choose a game for a feature largely because of its story, it should be a story that can be enjoyed in its entirety. Also knowing that the level of quality from start to finish is maintained is helpful.
There really aren't any rules for featured games save for one: user recommendation. It's obvious why you would want your game to be featured, thus recommending it is moot.
Another good reason to recommend a game, though not always the case, is to bring to light a good game that doesn't have the buzz other games do. Your game is buzzing, and there is a very nice download count for being just a few days old.
Edit: I love the art on your avatar. Is that by booble?
Also, you should totally put booble as a developer on your game profile. You'll still have a separate category as lead developer I think.

Pro tip: Asking for your own game to be featured is liable to result in it not being featured.
Sorry, I wasn't trying to recommend it. I realize now that no one probably remembers this, but awhile ago someone had recommended it, and I responded with this:
Thanks for the support, Poke. But yeah, Dec is right. Featured games are only for finished games. Hopefully, I'll have a shot once FE is done though.
However, I don't feel the same about this release. I'm just saying that IF my game were ever considered a candidate to be featured, it wouldn't bother me now. I feel like it is actually long enough, unlike before.
However, this isn't my decision, and I'm not recommending my game to the staff. I'm sorry that I came across that way. There are plenty of deserving games for that featured spot.

I agree! It is a great game...and it has gone a year without a feature.
The game's debut/birthday on RMN is tomorrow. :D LOL
RE:Alistair++
Even though
I played it out of morbid curiosity... It was very pretty, but everything was very slow and drawn out and a bit repetitive. That sort of thing really isn't for me to begin with, though.

If those are the rules, I will offer my recommendation then too. Just try to use that as a driving force to complete your game Nico. I think if it was given to you when you're only half-way through production, it kind of defeats the object.
Forever’s End is astoundingly popular. Be happy! =)

Hmmm... I would go with Eyes Without a Face, even though I hate the title, it was a very good game.
Sounds like they're still saving that for next halloween. It will get featured eventually, nevertheless.
Not to diminish the love for Eyes Without a Face that's out there, but didn't MANOS: Hand of Fate win that contest by actually finishing on time?
Then again, since I played neither game, I should probably keep my mouth shut!

I'm going to chime in with a vote here, Moam's Under World 1 was just uploaded on here and I feel it deserves some downloads. Great ABS, which definitely makes up for some less than stellar writing and semi-decent mapping. Anyways, despite its flaws, it's actually held my attention a little more than ALter Aila Genesis so far (although I'm not very far in either of them). Figured I'd throw it out there since there's only a day left before the new Feature is chosen.
