Closeactually, most of the time we'd pick a game and then got one of the staff members to review it (often with the goal of having the review out before the game got featured).

The reason I asked was because I considered mentioning Bloodsphere, since it was recently completed.
But then I flinched haha, probably rightly so :p

I would hate if Featured Game got axed. First, because this site is the hub for everything I do in RPGMaker and having a spot that recognizes awesome games always gives me something to strive for. Second, because it's a good design choice. I like the feel of the main page and having a big highlighted game gives my eyes something to go to.
I don't mind if the selection criteria gets switched up, but I really like Featured Game.
Eyes Without a Face would be a good choice this time, I think.

I think it would be cool to have a featured game AND a randomly selected game both on the frontpage. The random one would work the same way as the front page random screenshots used to, where it would be a new game every time you reloaded the page.
Anyways, since Sai wants to wait til Vacant Sky has a complete edition, I'll switch my vote to eyes without a face, (not that I've played it yet, but we're gonna keep hearing about it every month until it's finally featured).

fun fact: I beta tested this game.
...except that I dropped the ball and only did the first level. damn real life kept getting in the way.
