WHAT'S THE NEW FEATURED GAME?

CloseHey it's the beginning of the month and I haven't seen or heard anything about the next featured game on RMN's homepage!
My nominations are Vacant Sky because it won a bunch of misaos, and Eyes Without A Face because it is a slick game and it garnered a lot of international attention.
I have also heard whispers of the featured game getting scrapped. (which would be too bad, as it is currently only 1 of 2 things on the frontpage that is manually managed - and the other thing (The Latest) has been stagnant of late))

no, lets remove all flavor from RMN's frontpage. it needs to be a stale tasteless machine. you must seek what you want to see from rmn... it isn't here for you, you are here for it.
I'd actually like to request that Vacant Sky not be considered until after the Complete Edition is finished. Thanks for the consideration, though.

I'd like to elaborate as to why I don't think Eyes without a Face should be the featured game.
While the game is pretty and atmospheric, it had jarring dialogue that for me destroyed the mood of the game and it severely lacked a lot of qualities that would make me proudly say, try this "game" out, it's awesome!
But what I meant here is that it has almost 0 gameplay aside from mashing SHIFT and walking, unlike the Clocktower or Fatal Frame that made them interesting. There's no adventure aspect to it that added to the tension of the game or the situation.
Rubi on the other hand was made in 3 days and it's completely playable and nice. I think that'd be a better option for a featured game. And even ocean kicked his ass off not sleep to make that game too. IDK, there might be more games that are better out there in the homepage right now, but I like the idea for Featured Games being Featured because it was fun and it felt more of a game? Call me crazy.

fun fact: one of the sound effects i made for eyes without a face actually contains a pitch shifted backwards sample of that billy idol song
my diluted mind, most likely due to the sleep-deprived haze in which that game was made, thought it was funny at the time.
i realize this is really conceited and bad and shit to suggest my own game, but i'd honestly really like to see eyes without a face featured. if only because YDS worked her fuckin' ass off on it all hours of the day and night during finals and it would be really nice to see all her effort recognized.

I know this is still unheard of, but I'm pretty sure tat featured games should be completely RANDOM.
Shouldn't the point of featured games be for the the game to be new and interesting? Or a game that went unnoticed? How does voting for games make any sense for being featured?

that said, I would vote for eyes without a face to be selected as this month's featured game, then rudi next month. Vacant sky should wait until the complete edition is out.
