Lately I've been listening to a lot of my favorite band Iced Earth. They released their newest album "Dystopia" in 2011 with their new singer Stu Block. I love his vocals and the album has a "rise up against the power" theme that I've been enjoying now that society has chipped away at my youthful idealism and left me a bitter, jaded adult.

My other music obsession as of late has been Turisas. A Finnish Viking Metal band that are a bit too screamy at times (for my tastes anywho) but are a ton of fun and great to listen to during an extended Skyrim session

This album is a collection of covers of shitty pop songs...GOOD covers. Amazing.
Shawn Lee's a pretty awesome human being too. Saw him play with AM (another cool American musician) a couple weeks ago; it was incredible how easily he switched between several instruments in one song.
