I know some of you guys will be into sports or watch sports, but I'm still curious, do any of you guys follow or play/watch sports?

Lets see how athletic the rpgmaker community is.

A good OP goes first so yes I do watch and follow sport. I used to play Soccer, I got chosen for the national under 19s squad but I fucked up my ankle pretty badly and doctor said I couldn't play anymore. I watch Rugby especially since the Rugby World Cup being hosted in New Zealand right now(In case you didn't know I live in New Zealand, Wellington the capital to be specific) and I have been neglecting my studies to go out and hook up with all the new international woman that have been here.

PS: I'm a bit drunk right now so.. yeah, take advantage while you can!

Anyway I follow Rugby quite a bit as it's our national sport, same with Cricket and the Wellington Phoenix for soccer. So.. What about you guys?

I play soccer & watch the Bundesliga.

I play badminton for about two hours every week. Besides that I do a lot of biking. As for watching, the only sport I watch is Hockey. I don't follow it that much though, I just watch it when it gets good.

I play or played: hockey (center or winger), soccer (mid-fielder or goalie(!)), volleyball (middle), track & field (sprints, long jump, spot put) competitively.

I currently watch and follow the NHL and the CFL, and have passing awareness of the NFL, NBA, and even a bit of MLS. I even watch a bit of tennis and golf and curling now and again (Fuck baseball).

American football (or its related canadian football) does not suck bad.

Canadians play American(Canadian) Football with the Quarter back and touch downs and the like?

It is a variation of it, yes. In a nutshell, the differences are 3 downs instead of 4, 12 players per side instead of 11, and a bigger field.

I did classical dancing quite young, so I was good at any sport, it was fun.

I loved to play soccer as a kid but I was never on a team. I do on and off parkour with some of my friends.
I don't really play sports. Sure I'd never say no to a football game or some floorball or that kind of stuff. But I'm not part of anything regular.

I follow sports a lot though. Of course I nearly only follow sports where Finland is involved, being as insanely nationalist as I am. So I can watch with anticipation any old boring sport (even basketball) if Finland is involved.

The exception might be during the olympics (especially the summer ones), where I just love to watch those sports I never get to see otherwise being showcased from time to time.

The only sport I will gladly follow even though Finland isn't part of it is the Football World Cup (and the Euro Cup), because... you know. It's football... And it's the greatest sport on earth.

Also Starcraft because it is now a sport.
these kind of topics are nice and i like how it brings the community together in a sense, but i dont like how some person just comes out and says "this sport sucks". nine times out of ten that would start an argument.

i love NFL (American Football), i used to play football in high school.

I play football. I have since I was a kid. Unfortunately, I didn't grow much as a teenager and since height is a good attribute for a goalkeeper to have, I got the short end of the stick in that regard. I like to think of myself as a decent enough shot-stopper and I'm pretty effective in a 5-a-side setting because of this, but my defence of set-pieces needs a lot of work when playing 11-a-side.

I used to skateboard. My left ankle now clicks when rolled the wrong way and hurts if I put weight on it awkwardly. My left wrist is also quite weak as a result of my skateboarding and also clicks when rolled around. Neither of these are great for my continued football playing, especially considering my position.

Aside from that, I mainly watch: football, cricket, rugby league, international rugby union.
