ClosePer the new rule regarding blogs, could you either combine these into one blog or add summaries to each of them? Thank you.
I don't think it would be helpful to combine them into one blog (since the point is to announce the release of new content), but I can add summaries or something. Not that I disagree with your point, but is that really going to help anyone? Anyone who is going to be interested in the update will click through to the new chapter and anyone who isn't going to be interested won't bother to read the summary.
Yeah, I see what you mean. The rule when it comes to major announcements is certainly flexible. The main point of concern is that short announcements tend to bump larger blogs off the main page, but your announcements are valid and it's not like you're updating about a fix every day, haha.
Heh; If you don't mind me interfering... Anyone who is interested probably already follows your off-site blog, specially considering the frequency in that you make these announcements. Anyone who is not interested don't really have a reason to be because all they see is the exact same blog over and over. But it doesn't matter if people is interested or not, it's not about them. It's about your responsibility to put out thoughtful content. Just a line of text and a link doesn't cut it, that's basically spam.

Intuitively, that's what you'd think, but I get around 50 hits each time I post a new chapter here. Especially since it doesn't always update regularly, I think it's useful as an announcement that new content has been released.
All I'm trying to say is that a synopsis of each chapter, or a summary of the story so far, or a doodle, or anything, could attract you more readers. And it would also satisfy beyond all doubt the bare minimum of content that -should- be required from blogs. Win-Win.
