click here to download the game(100mb)
("Note: this game doesn't require rpg maker xp to play")
("This demo release offers around 2 hours of solid gameplay")

THE SETTING

The story of Morbid Awakening is set in a fantasy world of Treter. A planet filled
with many races such as humans, elves, wizards, fiends, druids and other critters
and beings. There are many continents in the world of Treter. The 3 most populated
are Nua, Casia and Shinda. You start of in Nua although there is not really a way of telling where you are as this is a demo game lasting 1 and a half hours plus and you don't get to use the world map either which should be usable and ready in the full version.

(Note: This is a demo version of the game. Only,
-Chapter 1: Capture
-Chapter 2: Escape
are playable in this demo. There are quite a few small cut scenes in this demo to.
Also a cut scene variation depending if you decided to go back for the Captain which you will find out about during game play.)

PROLOGUE

When the Kilos Organisation rise up to power, they begin to use forbidden
magic or Alchemy and train Alchemist's to suck up the resources on the planet for
their own use. Unfortunately the Kilos Organisation are praised for sucking up the
minerals of the planet and use them to generate buildings for many countries.
This is starting to effect the world. Many lands that shined brightly have become
dark and gloomy filled with twisted creatures that never existed before. What no one knows is that the Organisation isn't as great as people think it is. They are also responsible for the destruction of many towns, villages and deaths of many citizens which is unknown to the world. What are the Kilos Organisation really up to?

Play as the main protagonist of this story, Artemus Shadowbreaker, also known as
the Crimson Alchemist. Artemus becomes criminal in the lands of Shinda and Nua.
This occurs after leaving the Kilos organisation where he is made one without a choice. He ends up in Nua after being followed by soldiers and is eventually captured by the Nua Army then jailed in the Natu Prison Station. Awoken by another criminal in the Station, Artemus manages to get out of his cell where he learns that none of the soldiers are on patrol. "What the heck is going on here?" says Artemus. With the advantage to now escape, he must find a way out of Natu Station alive, along side with his two new friends, Riz and Husa...

Wheres the demo mate..? Looks really good btw... :-)
look theres a download link on the page but I will sort that out soon.
I'll give this a go as soon as you get the download up, so I can review it afterward.
What do you mean by it being a completed game yet it is a 2 hour demo version. Is there a non-demo version, or is this all your going to finish of this game?
I will make a full game eventually, this is a completed demo. So you can play the demo and if you like it play the full release when it's out. Now I think I will update this demo after I revise it and find a few mistakes. I'm hoping someone can play it and give me feedback on what was good, what needs changing and the stated bugs or glitches or other issues with it so I can revise this as soon as possible.

I can't create a download on rmn anymore because the site is bugged so if you want to download, the link is on this page on the top of the screen. It should say click here to download. So that's my only other alternative.
sweet!!! ill wait for the full version then :D
Hey !! Is a full version EVER gonna come out :/ ???
Why don't you play the demo and see if it's worth your time before asking that...

I completed the demo more than a month ago...thank you -.- !!!
Oh right my bad, I've been working on many other projects so my answer is that I am unsure. What I can say though is that one of the reasons I didn't rush back to further development on this game is that I don't actually know what people think of it because of no feedback to know what needs to be changed/updated in the game for the better. All I know is that the current review so far suggests this game is far from great. However, I don't know what everyone else thinks, but I'm guessing its probably true due to the lack of feedback.
