Where are the Ultima Weapons located? I've found Chrono's.
A COMPLETED Chrono fangame?
Imma check this out since CT is my favorite game :)
Hmmm. That's a hard one to figure out. Lemme see what I can do.
Hey,

Great game and can't wait for the sequel.

I don't know if you are still updating this one but I found a major glitch in it.

The scene where you get the boat is repeatable. However, when you do it again you end up with the team of Crono, Lucca, Robo and Ayla. Your able to access the menu and do whatever you want. But when you exit the menu you get a black screen. I exited the game and tried from my last save but I'm sent back to the black screen and same menu.

I'm gonna have to start over unless a patch is done for this.

Hope this helps.
Hi Lance VII! and to everyone! I'm new in RPG Maker and as i was browsing for some old video game oldies, i saw one of the greatest games ever made (Chrono Trigger) and upon checking other Chrono stuff, I stumbled upon Alter! I was in shock! A Sequel! So I ended up here for looking to download your creation Lance VII. Unfortunately, at this moment megaupload has some legal issues on the FBI. So I was not able to get your game. Can you help me with this? I really want to get to the story. Please Help Lance. Hope you have other external link on your game. I'll be back on your reply, More power to you and your inspirations! BTW you got mad skillz! =)
hey lance, i hope you read this but do you know where each of the ultima weapons are?
Tales of Phantasia things looks great!
Hello, I've found some "glitches" in the game:
1. When you first wake up in the beginning of the game you can walk on top of the table in the first house.
2. in the first castle you go to you can repeat the switch for the guards until you talk to the king.
3. You have one misspell when you are talking to the fighter of the "poor" village's son.
4. if you go back to the man who "gave" you the boat, it will repeat the story that happens when you get to him, then it will freeze up the game.
These are all the things I've found so far. oh and where are all the final swords at. I've found Crono's and the frogs, but I can't remember where the last one is.

I've just started playing this myself and really enjoy it. Aside from the real thing (and maybe Chrono Crisis) this really looks nicely done... much better than the Chrono Chronicles some time back.

My only suggestion (possibly for the Alter Remix) is to fix the intro a bit. Not everybody may know the actual story or may not recall a lot of it, so starting the game during a simplified fight against Lavos from the end of Chrono Trigger may be the way to go.

Something like:

Chrono and company briefly talk about the fate of the world and why they must stop Lavos. They engage in a fight and win. A brief scene of everybody moving on with their lives. Then starting the game 1 year later with Chrono meeting with Marle and showing Lavo's return. It's not perfect, but it may help with getting more people in tune with the game.

Well, enough talk... time for me to go back to playing this.
I actually like that idea a lot. I'll look into it.

No, I just said that I will write a review on my site because the game really deserves it and I know here in Italy (if I can).
I don't really know about it,although it has so many downloads(currently 3093) but it has not a single review I mean not even one of them reviewed it this makes it look like a fake(sorry if i am wrong).
I'm playing. Really well done, even if the animations of the enemies in battle mode were to be reviewed and something else too, but overall it's all good. Will also write a review on my site and post it also downloaded the game to make it known here in Italy.

I forgot to subscribe before, but I'll do so now; and of course, I'll give any new release a shot. =)
I can't say I'm too fond of VX and XP. As soon as Chapter 5 of CT2, I'm going to work on the revamped version. Again, I understand everything that you're saying. I hope you'll give CT2 a chance later on, because CT2 isn't a remake of an uber-shitty game, which may have been the issue in the first place.

However, I highly appreciate the honest feedback. It helps me improve more than praise does.

I sure hope so. I don't mean to be cruel, but I stopped playing this after about 30 minutes. The main reason was the awful mapping, errors, and the absolutely useless dialogue. I'll explain...

The mapping probably doesn't need much explanation, as almost every map was square shaped with no flow to the tiles. Grass abruptly ended instead of using a rounded or styled auto tile. There were several errors in the first 30 minutes. The guards in the first castle will repeat their dialogue and move event over and over if you step on the space that triggers them again and again. The woman, Tanya, runs around like she's on speed after she wakes you up. The arrow that points up in shops has a graphical glitch. The teleport takin you into the first town puts you about four spaces right of the actual entrance. These are just a few.

The dialogue is absolutely the worst part and is the one thing that made me say, "OK, enough of this." FIVE NPCs in two locations talking about flowers? Oof.

I wish I could have stayed interested long enough to get farther into the game, because I like what I see in the videos and other players' reactions, but I apologize, I just couldn't. I am looking forward to a revamped version, though. So please please continue to work on this, Lance. It could be really great.

P.S. Have you thought about using XP or VX for a revamp? You'd be able to mimic CT battle styles with Atoa's CBS, I think.

I enjoyed this game since it was a Chrono game, but I can't say it was really really fun. The new setting seemed kind of boring and came over more as a story excuse to not have to remake all of the old locations. Some of the maps were pretty bland and straightforward too.

The battles were alright but I missed double and triple techs, and battle difficulty was really unbalanced. For example, when you fight those blue robots with Lucca and Robo, they can deal 500 damage in one hit with a magic attack, which at that moment took away half the health of my characters. Yet the normal monsters in the same dungeon died in one hit. That required some grinding and even then I had to use magic to survive. So yeah you could have balanced this more.

The story became boring for me when Dalton turned into a freaking dragon, but it already annoyed me before. I can't always understand why people make certain choices, and I can't say I like what you made of Dalton.

Well, anyway, I enjoyed it as a tribute to the Chrono series, and it is a complete game after all, one of the few complete Chrono fangames. You did a good job.
I assure, every gripe is legit. While the story wasn't very strong, I feel it sets up for the sequel,'Chrono Trigger II: Time's Eclipse'.

In a short while, I'm going to rehaul CA. That version will be loads better, and improve on the story.

If its MIDIs try checking the volume on the SW Synth slider. Sometimes RPG maker causes it to be muted.
I have a question, someone knows because no one can hear the music in the game at first whether they listened to but not.please i need help how to solve
