Some Secrets
Some secrets:
-Liberace has two dreams. The first one is seen quite easily by wondering what he's thinking about when you talk to him on your farm (when he's out of your active party). The second one is seen by completing the first one then sleeping on the right bed of your house with Liberace in your party. You should do these with a strong Liberace because once your in his dreams the only way out is to beat the boss at the end. You get some very rare healing items and also some good EXP for Liberace if you choose the right option at the end of the first dream. Most enemies can be put to sleep and silenced with Eternal Sadness (the skill you learn from the piano in the inn back in town).
-Best weapon for Gertride Hazuki: Get the Flamamantium in the fire cave, the marbrush weed in the water cave, and the beet's teeth in the earth cave. Bring these three items to the miner's house and the Master Blacksmith will be there now and will craft for you her best weapon.
-Best Weapon for Bertha Obando: Fight her sensei at Mount Wutai and when you win decline his offer THREE times to receive her best weapon.
-Best Weapon and Armor for Dickie: If you ever notice someone who looks like Joey Ramone bring Dickie to speak with him...answer the correct questions to receive his best weapon and armor.
-To gain Felix Grundy some EXP and to turn out the hidden zombie town you have to do a real tedious walking around quest...and it's worth it...I guess. Figure it out. It's mainly for 100% completion I guess, it's not worth doing the quest. Grundy's poison was used to be super effective (too much so) but I switched the damage % in the game's script and made poison less effective. Grundy is sadly the worst character in the game now.
-To learn new techs with Liberace play the pianos you find around the world. There's one in the Inn, one in Ox King's drinkin' cave, and one on the cottage on the moon.
-It's not really clear how to use Ox King effectively for the brief time you get to use him. On the first turn of combat use "Get Drunk" and then use his regular attack while drunk.....his magic and skills moves are useless so don't bother with them....just get drunk and use regular attacks. He hits for over 9000 while drunk and does ~15,000 if he criticals.
-Getting the Wukong armor and accessory. You must lose to him on the mountain in the snow area, then go all the way back to the bar in town and knock the bathroom door...then let the story ensue and defeat him with the guy from the bathroom. Now go back up the snow mountain with Dickie and Wukong will let you in his cave of Flowers and Fruits.
-Once the Gypsy is on your farm you can recruit a spoony bard who hangs around the desert Oasis. Once together they play pop music concerts on your farm which is kind of fun. I suppose.
-If you don't win in 7 turns while fighting the Pure Anabolic Steroids you'll get a cut scence and still win.
-Improving Horace. Horace is useful at the start when fighting the wrestlers in the pub, but gets sucky fast. You can raise his attack and defense by talking to a lizard in the forest later on in the game. Horace is still not as good as the human characters though.
-Liberace and Vincent can get close to Level 40 each while fighting the Ultimate Warrior fights. Just make them defend and not die and they will gain a lot of EXP from the fights. If they do die you could always reload and try again.

Defeating some of the harder bosses
Randy Savage:
He's easy, but since you have to fight his 3 forms to gain his Macho Bracers (which raise either Dickie, Liberace, or the female characters ATK by a lot) you best go to the inn in the southwest building in Town to heal up each time. Buying High Potions from "Uncooth" Ulrich in the southeast part of Town is a great idea too.
Hulk Hogan:
Hogan is much harder than Savage so fight him after you defeated him. The third and fourth fights against Hogan have NO BREAK in between so you have to be more careful. Defend with Vincent Price and only raise dead guys back up with him. If you learned Liberace's Eternal Sadness skill from the lady playing piano in the inn then use it because Hogan is not immune to sleep spells.
Mr. T:
Save before you knock on the bathroom door of the bar...and uhhh...duck and cover.
Three bosses in Liberace's Troubled Mind scenario #1:
This sucks because if you saved in Liberace's Dream World and are too sucky to get out of it...YOU WILL BE TRAPPED IN LIBERACE'S MIND FOR ETERNITY! So hopefully you learned the the power of Eternal Sadness because all bosses have trouble against sleep. Also, buying a ton of Goat Crack from Uncooth Ulrich and smoking that crack will get Liberace his MP back (there's no heal stations in his horribly troubled mind).
Ultimate Warrior:
You can't win the first time you fight him. After when you regroup in Ryong Rong's domain you can defeat him...just use the new party member's low level skill so he doesn't run out of MP for the second round. During the third round when the Warrior is in his Pure Steroid From you can defend for 7 rounds to win the fight and get an alternate secret cut scene involving the great Ox King.
Zombie Liberace:
Do not progress to this point until you are confident of victory...do all quests to get the good armor and weapons! You can't win without Shatner's Shield so have it up at all times and hope that Liberace Z heals his self like an idiot instead of using Liberace Ultima on your guys. Level up by fighting the soldiers around the map (there's like 100 so you can gain A LOT of levels here).
Omega Liberace:
The doppleganger Liberace is HARD. I beat him with Dickie, Liberace, Vincent, and Bertha.
Dickie Setup: Commando Sword/Commando Jacket.
Vincent Setup: The stuff he gets from the squid thing on the moon (Sun Wukong Blessing maybe).
Bertha Setup: Wukong's Blessing, Tiger Skin Kilt, Heaven Star Dragon Claw Nunchaku
Liberace: KTV, Gorebei items, Ultimate Bracers
(Note: If you go back to Lando's Ship you can still scour the depths of outer space to fight Vampire Hookers and Dirty Aliens and gain a shit load of levels before engaging in this end boss fight...try and find the Pheonix Bird in space to heal your party and stay close to it.)
Get the Elixirs and Fenix Downs from the Great One's cottage on the moon.
Have Dickie use his best move, have Liberace use Blue Pianist Strike (play the piano in Great One's moon cottage to learn that), have Bertha use Wolf Tiger Kick Mark II (this move is SERIOUSLY too strong on a leveled up Bertha with the best nunchucks), have Vincent summon Shatner to barrier your party (a round fought without a Shatner Barrier will be 100% devastating to your party) and after the barrier is up Summon Elvis. Attack the right Angel first because the left Angel can only heal one enemy and a time with Liberace and Dickie, Vincent and Bertha's moves hit all enemies so don't worry about focusing. Use Vincent to revive, and don't be shy about using your Elixirs or Fenix Dee's cause this is the final real fight.
After you win, a second round will start......PUT UP YOUR SHATNER BARRIER AND DEFEND UNTIL DOLEMITE COMES!!!!!!! Now let the ending ensue.

Character Backstory Spotlight #4: Little Dickie Richards
Wake up. Go to school each day. Come home and watch cartoons. The quotidian daily itinerary of a youth can become quite redundant to say the least. Yet city kids are the lucky ones, their rural counterparts have no schools nor cartoons, they only have wake up and tend to the goats. Life is tough for a farm kid to say the least.
Wake up. Tend to goats.
Wake up. Tend to goats.
Wake up. Tend to goats.
Wake up. Tend to goats.
Wake up. Tend to goats. Wonder when something cool will happen.
Wake up. Tend to goats. Wonder if the fisherman who come by the island have any children your age.
Wake up. Tend to goats. Daydream of far away lands and adventure.
Wake up. Tend to goats. Imagine pirates invade and you must fend them off!
Wake up. Tend to goats.
These children of the farm crave adventure yet are they really ready for it when it falls like an apple from a tree and smacks them straight in the noggin? When adventure takes some time from its busy schedule and seeks you out...do you run and hide or embark on an endless journey? May it be that the daily repetitive chores keep you living a life of organized safety, comfort, and security? If adventure came knocking at your door...why I bet you'd pretend you weren't home and went back to watching cartoons.
When adventure came knocking at Little Dickie's door, he seized the opportunity and launched himself headfirst into the oncoming action. He knows you only live once and though tending goats for the rest of his life would be pretty easy and safe....the notion also occurred to him that a life of adventure may be just what the doctor ordered. Alas Dickie hunkered down and said,
"Curse the banality of 'safety' and 'security' for this life of leisure is simply for the birds! I will travel this great land and see with my own eyes, hear with my own ears, and live with my own life!"
What lies off his tiny island? Vast plains? Dry deserts? Dense forests? Pretty girls? Become Dickie in Legend of Liberace 3 and find out! TAKE ADVENTURE BY THE HORNS AND TAME IT!

Character Backstory Spotlight: Vincent
The malfeasency of the approaching night crept ever more forward. The darkness which manifests its soul-less mockery of light cast a ghastly shade of black over the horizon.
"What is the encroaching aura of unsanctimonious evil?" Vincent pondered inward, "This is no run-in-the-mill all-encompassing darkness...no no...this is something much fouler."
Vincent began to feel odd sensations of stimulii in his being. Fear, anger, hatred, jealousy, betrayal, terror...and DOOM.
"This darkness it's...why it's....it's....A MANIFESTATION OF HUMAN CRUELTY!"
The darkness began to take shape, and the night became a living and breathing entity. The pitch blackness behind him became ghastly nightmare phantoms and whaling phantasms. The silence of night metamorphasized into wild anecdotes of deception.
"These voices! I've heard them all before! Whilst I lay awake at night...they find their way into my subconscious...but they've never been this audible previously!"
These manifestations of human cruelty are the source of all ill will in this world. Ghastly forces who feed off negative emotions.
FEAR...ANGER....HATRED...
"These ghosts! These nightmarish forms! I must keep them at bay! When the scales of life are weighed down with negativity...the other side must be counterbalanced with positive action! When the great abacus of the universe chalks up more beads in favor of human cruelty...the results must be made equal by dividing the algorithm by LOVE!"
Vincent knew what he must do, he must rid the world of these dark emotions. He took his brocade Sealing Box upholstered with Lion and Dragon patterned fabric and set off to hunt and capture these nightmare phantoms and keep them away from the collective human consciousness.
For his name is Vincent Price...defender of human freedom in the face of abject evil and he must save humankind from their own despondent cruelty.

Character Backstory Spotlight: Dolemite
Dolemite's the one who killed Monday, whupped Tuesday, and then proceeded to put Wednesday in the hospital (no joke), then called Thursday to tell Friday not to burn Saturday next Sunday! You can kick 'em but you can't bruise his hide, and all those rattle snakes that bit his ass? Well, they just crawled off and died. He lured Dionysis into a wine jug...and then beat the hell outta of 'em with a club. He's the dude who picked up the rock that killed the mighty goliath, and used it to whip Nero's ass for setting Rome on fire!
Dolemite's the one who stuck his finger in ground and starting turning this whole damn world around!
Dolemite is the Guardian of the Moon, he takes astrological readings and shit to make sure the earth and the moon are rotating in unison and whatnot. He boasts an army of highly trained kung fu space-hoes who are versed in all the divine Sun Tzu Art of War Tactics (as such). His palace where he and his army of kung-fu space-hoes inhabit is breathtakingly pimped-out, the Blue Moon Mansion in The Sky is where all the deities go to globally party down and party out.
Tragically, Dolemite's Blue Moon Mansion in the Sky has been raided and ransacked by a force of unimaginable evil. Dolemite and his loyal space hoes have taken refuge in a nearby moon cave where they plan their counter-attack. They lie in wait...biding their time...waiting for a hero to emerge and cleanse the moon of this great evil.
Are you tough enough to save Dolemite?

Liberace Hollywood Movie
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/8263210.stm
Michael Douglas is signed on to play Liberace in the Hollywood's version of the Liberace Mythology. Matt Damon has been signed on to co-star.
Don't believe the hype! This isn't historically accurate Liberace mythology! Hollywood's bastardized grasp of Liberacian mythos is not on a scholarly level...it is pure dribble, just like when they made an Alexander the Great movie...it relied on no scholarly sources.
Legend of Liberace 3 for PC was written by a pair of university professors who both obtained a bachelor's degree in Liberacian Science from an esteemed Las Vegas university!

Character Backstory Spotlight: Liberace
Liberace was the main character of Legend of Liberace 1 and 2, yet in the third installment we see Liberace leave the limelight and act mainly as a support character.
In Legend of Liberace 1 on RPG Maker '95, Liberace left his home on East Island at the age of 17 to explore the big city with hopes of making it super big. The young Liberace was armed only with his good looks and his divine knowledge of piano chords. His unique style of pianomanship shocked the masses of the big city and gave all the women huge orgasms. He was known as Liberace of the Golden Divine Keys Pianists. Liberace was the talk of the town, yet disaster struck when a rival island's piano gang challenged Liberace and his friends to an epic piano-off. The winner would be known as the greatest piano gang in the land...yet the loser would be exiled to the southern deserts and no longer be allowed in the big city. Sadly, despite a valiant effort Liberace's Golden Divine Keys Pianists were exiled to the southern deserts...
In Legend of Liberace 2 for RPG Maker 2003, a melancholy Liberace roams the desert wastelands lonely and all kinds of ashamed of his damn self. He wins some money gambling with Mexican Gangsters and starts a band of roving pianist mercenaries with his winnings. These Pianist fighters would go from land to land playing concerts and fighting wild beasts to make ends meet. These towns were certainly not like the big city and peril, disaster, and sub-bosses awaited Liberace and his pianist mercenaries wherever they went. When the roving pianist mercenaries are swindled by a corrupt night club owner things get really ugly, as they are imprisoned and sentenced death. In another tragically surprisingly unhappy ending...Liberace commits the ultimate act of self sacrifice and dies at the hand of his nemesis to save his mercenaries.
In the current installment of the Liberace saga, Legend of Liberace 3 for RPG Maker XP, Liberace becomes a small functionary deity on earth after his death and stands watch over a small farm island in the western sea. Stripped of muscles and skin, Liberace can't help but feel angry at his current situation but comes out of retirement one last time after meeting a young man named Dickie. Something about the boy's eyes show a boldness and gallantry that he thought was long lost from this fucked up world. Though not as powerful as he was while alive, Liberace can still hold his own on the battlefield of life, what epic adventures await our bold heroes in Legend of Liberace 3?

Some pointers
From Memory (I made most of this like 3 years)
-Farm-
-Go to grave and select the polite options (please join me etc.) and recruit the guy that comes out.
-Talk to the scare crow to get a bad-ass sword for the lead character
-Kill the goats (spare the one that can talk) and then a fight ensues.
-talk to the old man and chop a few stumps up...talk to him again....do what he says...then talk to old lady
-find more money in one of the barrells and give all of it to the bearded boat man at the dock(not the other guy).......
-Mine area-
-You can fight some dudes randomly to get high potions here and some decent EXP. if you encounter them refuse to accept their corn to fight them.
-In the Mine find the guy in blue who's hiding, he is probably the most useful character in the game for most parts. Don't MISS HIM.
-From the miner's house go NORTH for now not EAST.
-Forest Area-
-Either fight the goblin or answer the right answer to his question for a prize.
-There is a recruitable character here....answer the right options. Don't mess up or he'll fight you.
-catch that baby that's crawlin' around
-talk to some folks
-Go to the EASTERN exit not the WESTERN for now...
-Town Area-
-This is the best place to train and get some EXP for now.
-There are three guys in the bar who want to scrap with you. The one the LEFT of the bar is pretty easy, the one on the RIGHT of the bar is hard....and the one in the bathroom is IMPOSSIBLE so don't bother for now.
-The LEFT and RIGHT brawlers have to be fought three times each to gain their prize. Heal at the inn between rounds so you don't have to be shorthanded with your HP and SP.
-After you have defeated both bar brawlers you should be adequately strong enough for the coming battles.
-While in the BAR talk to the woman in the NORTHWEST corner to advance the story....she'll tell you what to do.
-Go to the docks in the NORTH of town and find your boatman.
-Recruitable character here....he's one of the few chars who can poison enemies which is actually pretty effective in this game.
-Ruins-
-Very straight forward...you get a cool skill from the boss.
-Go back to town and back to the lady in the bar...
-Notice there's something different about the bar today?
-Picking up Chicks-
-The bar is full of chicks now and two of them are recruitable characters, and another recruitable chick is at the inn now.
-The chick at the inn is the easiest to get you just need the dude you recruited in the forest in your active party.
-Talk to all the chicks at the bar and then find the two local Love Doctors in town and ask them what to do
-One Love Doc is in the leftermost house and he'll explain how to recruit one of the chicks (kinda long)
-The other Love Doc is at the twon docks and will tell you what to do for the other one (shorter than the other one)
-Aboriginal Forest Area-
-This is the NORTHWEST exit of the big forest...they request for you to do very straight forward missions for them.
-the second mission is actually quite hard and requires a long walk through a desert...
-Desert-
-The Hermit is in a cave here so get your first encounter with him out of the way while your here...
-There is an easy optional boss here and a very difficult one....the hard one is at the oasis so saved and heal.
-After a long walk you'll reach the tower, climb it and fight a semi-hard boss fight.
-Go upstairs and talk to the lady up there for the item you need to advance the story...
-Go back through the desert to the beginning and talk to the guy.
-Back Home-
-There's some sidequests avaiable now (see SNOW AREA)
-When you're ready to advance the story talk to the cat near your house...
-Story interlude 1-
-The next part is purely story with a few fights....it is very straight forward just talk to everyone at the bar if you can't seem to advance this part.
-Back Home again-
-Go to the docks near your house and talk to the lady.
-If you talked to the Hermit in the desert already go to town and tell the Doctor in the house about him. Talk to him until his dialogue repeats itself....
-Now go back to the Hermit...TALK TO HIM UNTIL HIS DIALOGUE REPEATS ITSELF so you don't have to make this trip again.
-Go back to the Doctor in town...talk to him until dialogue repeats and he's giving you no new info.
-Now go to the south east house and talk to everyone until someone tells you about this dude you gotta find.
-The dude is right outside this house (Don't go off looking for him he's right in front of the door almost).
-Go back to the southeast house and go upstairs this time....let the event ensue.
-Go back now to the Doctor and he'll give you something....
-Bring this item to the Hermit in the Desert and this sort of long-ass part is over now (I always wanted to change the location of the desert cave to save time but kept forgetting).
-The Hermit will have some dialogue and then a straight forward fight ensues.........
-Back Home Again-
-If you have all 4 ladies recruited a sidequest is available now... a man at your home dock will tell you about it.
-First thing when the sidequest starts is go to bar and talk to the females at one of the tables (one of them gives you the info you need but talk to all of them to make sure)
-There is a guy in the SOUTHEAST corner of the big forest who wants to fight you...save he's sorta hard.
-Now go to the bridge near Big Forest where the troll was...fight ensues......
-Go to the mine....go to the furthest east part and fight the guy (bad shadow...I gotta fix that).......
-Now go to the furthest west part and fight the guy....(I forgot to fix his graphic, it's not a long fight don't worry about it).
-When he's defeated go to the MINER'S HOUSE and upgrade your sword (do this before you return to your house).
-Now return home and talk to the kid.
-Home AGAIN-
-Talk to the cat to advance the story when you're ready...
-Story Interlude 2-
-This once again is very straight forward and linear......
-In town go to the Doctor's house and talk to him 'til something happens.
-There are some pretty hard bosses in this section so save before you talk to anyone, most of them want to fight you.
-This part is pretty long too.
-This is where you need to have the DATA fix file applied because my friend screwed up the map. The 600KB file which replaces the DATA folder will fix this.
-When you get to the part where you're on a map that all BLACK with nothing around you remember that there are things in all four corners, in the middle center, the top center, and bottom center (7 things in all in this map).
-Go to TOP CENTER FIRST, then BOTTOM LEFT, then back to TOP CENTER and stand in the middle of the two guys to advance the story.
-The rest after that is pretty linear and straightforward.
-In the Earth Cave of this part (on the way back NOT the way there) there is a sign which tells you how to fight an optional boss but I recommend you come and fight it when you have a full party.
-Now just go back home.
-Mountain Area-
-If you take the Clobberer girl to the mountain in the east the guy will let you go up it now...you can train here with some dudes and get some good items. An optional boss is here too but there's no sign indicating where he is.
-Go right from the miners' house and then right again at the train station to access the crossroads where the mountain is.
-Snow Area-
-Go to the train station east of Miner's House and talk to the old guy and tell him you want to go North.
-Optional area...at the top is a rock/egg thing...after checking it out you have to go back to the bar in town and knock on the bathroom door THREE times and and event will ensure. Make sure you've done the part with the rock at the top of the snow area before you knock on this door three times. You get some good items for doing this.
-There's a town here which offers you quest which involves a lot of walking...I don't remember where all the locations are that you need to go so I'll edit this another time.
-That's about it here.......
-Aboriginal Forsest Area-
-When a dude shows up at your home docks looking for you this is available to do.
-SAVE BEFORE TALKING TO THE HEAD GUY IN ABORIGINAL FOREST.....in a new slot too because you have to be strong for this part and there's no way out once you're in. So have two saves in case you suck too much to do this part.
-You should do this part after you've trained at the mountain and done the EXP gaining side quests.
-Fight your way to the leader.....
-The civilian looking dudes gives you good healing items.
-HARD ASS BOSS FIGHT
-The East Docks-
Go all the way EAST to the east docks. You get EAST by going right from the miner's house and then right again at the train station and right again at the crossroads.
-Talk to the dude until he says nothing new about his boat and stuff.
-Go to the Doctor in town and tell him about the guy at the Docks.
-A straightforward fighting part occurs now...
-When you're back at the docks and everyone's looking at the machine...talk to all of them to advance the story.
-Final Area-
-Avoid the bad guys for now.
-When you find the bird flying around talk to it to get healed. If you want to train out here fight the bad guys when you're close to the bird so you can heal after every fight.
-At the top of the screen is the only exit on this map.
-Final Area II-
-Find the house on the LEFT of the screen and talk to the guy....
-The end area is pretty straight forward...there's some easy secret items and stuff...and a ton of hard bosses so save before talking to people.....
Boss Fortress:
-******Apperently (not in the version with the "DataGOOD.rar" fix) you can talk to the man in the jail cell here before you are supposed to...and doing this will throw events out of whack. If you're playing with the data fix this will not happen...but to be safe don't bother with that guy until you're in a cell with him,*********
-Sub Bosses are easy but the Final Boss is hard as hell.
That's about it.....
-To learn new techs with Liberace play the pianos you find around the world.
-It's not really clear how to use Ox King effectively for the brief time you get to use him. On the first turn of combat use "Get Drunk" and then use his regular attack while drunk.....his magic and skills moves are useless so don't bother with them....just get drunk and use regular attacks.
-----------------------------
Final Boss Strategy
----------------------------
Omega Liberace: I beat him with Dickie, Liberace, Vincent, and Bertha.
Dickie Setup: Commando Sword/Commando Jacket.
Vincent Setup: The stuff he gets from the squid thing on the moon (Sun Wukong Blessing maybe).
Bertha Setup: Wukong's Blessing, Tiger Skin Kilt, Heaven Star Dragon Claw Nunchaku
Liberace: KTV, Gorebei items, Ultimate Bracers
-Farm-
-Go to grave and select the polite options (please join me etc.) and recruit the guy that comes out.
