A peaceful kingdom suddenly receives a powerful stone with the power to control time itself. Deciding to keep this relic out of evil hands, the king of Syrius stores it in a secluded place deep inside the castle, where it lies for the next millenium.
Fast forward a thousand years into the present time. The stone has gone missing as well as the current king! It's now up to Princess Lilliana to find the king and the stone before the stone's power gets misused and something terrible happens. She will meet seven companions on her search, a fugitive soldier on the run, a smart, dedicated priestess, a cash-loving, food-loving thief, a perky sorceress, a monster hunter that hits on any female that moves, a young magical dancer, and a strong, yet troubled martial artist. She will meet others on her journey as well, and the eight of them must find the person responsible for the theft of the stone.
This game is sort of a dungeon crawler, but it does have some features like class changing, touch encounters, different ways to learn skills, puzzles, tough optional bosses, and stuff like that. It's a long game, 3 worlds to traverse, spanning 7 chapters long, with many sidequests included. I hope you guys enjoy it.

Yeah, the 284MB version is the new version. The old one was like, only 60-something, I forget.

Seeing as how the missing music file is a .wav, I would suggest downloading a program such as Goldwave and converting your music files to .mp3 to lower the game's size by a significant amount, perhaps even to less than a quarter of what it is now depending on the length of the music files.

Worked like a charm! Now the whole file is 97MB, much lower than before. Thank you very much. I don't know why I didn't think of doing that earlier...

I've been enjoying your game so far Otabo. However, I did find a major glitch, possibly a game ending one.
I completed the scenarios of the Princess, Soldier, and Priestess in that order. I got to Chapter 1: Reunion. It started me off with Lilliana (the princess) right outside of Syrius Castle. Luckily, I saved my data and went inside the castle. I wanted to check and see if they were selling weapons and armor yet, but they weren't. I proceeded to exit the castle and that's when the problem occurred.
The game treated me as if I had finished Lilliana's scenario again. It went back to the title pic where the scenario options used to be, but they weren't there anymore (since I'd completed them already of course). I let it sit for a couple of minutes and then began pressing buttons. I was able to go to Lilliana's menu and I quit the game.
Now, had I saved at the save golem inside Syrius Castle, I would've been screwed. I would've had to either start a whole new game or from an earlier save, if I had one available.
This is a major issue that needs to be fixed. As I said before, I luckily saved before entering the castle, so my data is fine, but others may not be so lucky. I really like the game so far and it would be a shame for a glitch to end it all for certain players.

Can anyone help me find Melanie the second time? I've read the earlier post saying that she is definitely in Syrius Castle, but although I've crawled over the place several times, I can't find her. If she's down in the sewers (the one with the jumping golden arrows across the gaps) I can't get past the barred gate, so will need to know how to do that - though I'd assumed that was a place for later in the game.
Another, totally unrelated, and probably kindergarden level, question. On the main menu, there are stats showing how much HP and AP a character has. Immediately underneath those is another stat (e.g. 75/ 88, or 52/ 63. What does this stat mean? Should I be doing anything with it?

She doesn't appear until Chapter 2 after driving all of the soldiers out of the castle. She'll be in the weapon shop. For future reference, when Melanie gives you her clue where to find her, it's usually a place that you won't visit until later in the game, so you won't usually find her until a bit later after you've advanced the story far enough, though for the later skills, you'll have to go out of your way, as well. Just keep playing, you'll find her.
As for the sewers, you'll go through in early Chapter 2, so don't worry about that place.

Those are the numbers used by the default EXP system in RM2k3. Since the game doesn't use the default EXP system to calculate your characters' EXP, those numbers mean nothing and they have no impact on the game whatsoever, so you can ignore them.

I just ran into a game-breaking bug that you'll have to fix.
Now that my Lilliana is level 99, the game freezes at the Get Exp screen. Wearing the Elder Charm (permanent Amnesia) doesn't help.

OK, noted. Though I don't expect most folks to grind to 99 in this game, but it'll be fixed, regardless.
