One hundred years ago the goddess, Altis, descended to the land of Astria. She bestowed a blessing upon the people of this land: the ability to use magic, a mystical force with nearly limitless potential. The magic Altis granted the people of Astria spurred their development and enabled them to transform Astria into a near utopia.
But, as with all good things, it would not last forever...
One Astrian woman, Verash, wanted more power than that of the magic Altis had bestowed upon the people of Astria- Verash hungered for the power of Altis herself. Verash collected ambitious and like-minded followers daily and Altis, forseeing an inevitable conflict, gathered her own guardians around her. When Verash, at last, attacked Altis outright, the ensuing conflict, which would come to be known as the Battle of the Mages, raged brutally for days and cost countless lives. Finally, seeking to end the senseless loss of life, Altis met Verash on the field of battle. When they clashed the earth shook and a flash of light blazed across the battleground. When the light had receded, both Altis and Verash had vanished.
The Battle of the Mages was over, but the aftermath of the conflict would shake all of Astria. The people of Astria were horrified to discover that when Altis had vanished, so had her gift: the magic upon which they so heavily relied was gone.
It has been one hundred years since that battle. The magical utopia that Astria had become is no more, its people forced to find ways to cope with the loss of Altis's Blessing. Still, there are those who refuse to accept that the magic is gone forever, who seek to regain the power they once had. And so, the Treasure Hunter Guild was founded, with chapters all across the land of Astria, its purpose to explore the ancient and hidden places of the world in the hopes of finding hints of where Altis has gone, and how her blessing might be brought back to this world.

Your mapping is pretty good, but there's one problem with your maps, they look too symmetrical. And try to take Liberty's advice and overlap the trees so they look more natural. Good luck~
