World's Dawn developer let's play

Hey everyone! Wow, it's been a long time O.O

I wanted to drop by because I'm returning to World's Dawn three years after release (!) for a developer let's play. I'll be going through a good chunk of the game with a friend and sharing behind-the-scenes stories, community comments, and laughs aplenty. I thought some fellow RM folks might be interested in how the project came together and why certain decisions were made, that sort of thing.

I've been going through a bit of a rough patch lately, so this cozy, casual series has been a good way to decompress and stay connected with other players and developers. If you think you might enjoy it, there are a few episodes up on YouTube already and more to come very soon! And please do let me know what you think. I've never recorded anything like this before, so feedback is certainly welcome.

Thanks all! I really appreciate the support this community has given me over the years.

I've only been playing for an hour and I adore this game to bits! Thanks so much for creating it xD
i know it's late but congratulations on finishing the game(i wish i could buy it but can't right now ;w;) ☆*:.。.o(≧▽≦)o.。.:*☆
Harvest Moon is my most favorite video game franchise of ALL TIME! This game looks absolutely amazing and the colors look beautiful!
Hello I would love to ask you a favor
I have a question.. why is Indigo no marriage partner QwQ??
Hi i have been thinking about getting this game but i have a few questions if that is cool...
Anyway one has to do with romance so i hear that you get to have same sex romances in this game that is cool but what i would like to know if can you tell someone that you just want to be friends if you don't want to romance them?
Also when it talks about same sex romance does it just kind of change every one that is the same sex gay or are there a few gay people in town and saying that you want to romance the same sex just "unlocks" them.
Now if it is the whole it just makes everyone that is the same sex gay option is the text script changed or do you get the same text even if you are dating the same guy/girl as the opposite sex?

So anyway i hope I'm not bugging anyone by asking stuff like this but i have a lot of questions about this game before i buy it :)
Thanks so much =) It feels amazing to have finally finished the game and put it out there into the world!
I have had some cash sitting in my steam wallet for weeks now just waiting for this moment. Time to go buy World's Dawn. Congrats on finishing this.

I bought the game 3 hours ago and now I am still playing it but I don't know how to do this quest :o
It's the quest where Barley gives you a Dusty Old Novel.
How do I give it to people and when I always try to give it to them they say that they don't want it...and that says everyone ._.
And how do I sell items? :o

Only one person out of everyone in the village will accept the Dusty Old Novel. Just try to talk to everyone ;)
After that, a few days or weeks later, that person will give you another item, and the process repeats itself.

As for selling items, use the chest outside your home. Put the items in there, and you'll get the money the next day.

If you need more help, there's always this: http://worldsdawn.wikia.com/wiki/World%27s_Dawn_Wiki

Can't wait for the official release of this game it makes me so excited to see it come to completion.
When can I buy or where can i buy this game ? *^*
Nice, I am a HUGE Harvest Moon fan and I played a little bit of this game about a year ago. Loved it, but stopped playing after a few hours because I wanted to wait until the full release.

I will be picking this up on steam when it comes out and write a review for the full version on this site when I finish it up.
Watching for it on Steam, even squirrelled away dosh for when it's released, can't wait to play the full year!
Excellent game! Story is well written, art gives off a cartoonish vibe, everything is great! However, as much as I love the game, it won't save properly; I've re-downloaded and tried everything, am I doing something wrong?
Omg i am so excited for the updates(≧∇≦)
Excellent game. I love the graphics, the soundtrack, setting, etc. I love everything!!!

I'm aware, but that is the issue I had, they didn't show up in either place, clothing box inventory or regular inventory. I had to start a new game (I didn't have too much time invested, I bought the ashen mask first or second day being there, though my second playthrough it didn't show up until Paxel's second visit) As for the post office, same issue, wasn't there even after a full week, but didn't happen with the frying pan.

I'll look into it and hopefully have it fixed in the final version! Thanks for reporting and sorry for the trouble.
