I made this game about my friends from eigth grade art class and our teacher. Many of the NPCs and enemies are also references to my friends. Each character has a class/job that represents thier interests or abilities in real life (e.i. Stuart golfs, so he is a golf warrior and has a myriad of skills based on golfing.)
The game, depending on how thourough a player you are, can have anywere from two to four hours of gameplay (or longer if you like to spend countless hours level grinding).
Some not totally impressive but still fairly nice features:
-class changes towards the end of the game
-Not all music is original to RPG maker XP
-Costum made graphics for heroes; made on MS paint by yours truely!
-Costum animations
-Optional Coliseum area where you can fight monsters from throughout the game (including bosses).

Sounds and looks like my kind of game. I just don't hope that my not knowing you are your friends, will destroy the experience for me.
Update: Um, how do I run the game. I just get an EXE and when ran by itself it does nothing, I downloaded the RPG Maker XP RTP, but that didn't do anything either.

I am not really sure if u need RPG maker or not
If u had the actual maker I could make a download for the game file but i dont want peoeple to be able to change anything

Well, RPG maker allows you to package everything and make it so know one can mess with it. All the download is...um, is a exe that does nothing. Like I said I downloaded the RTP for RPG Maker XP, but that didn't seem to do anything, I'll try again.
Update: It would appear that it is not playable, a bunch of files seem to be missing that are needed to run the game, that would explain the very small download. Can anyone else verify if it can be ran after downloaded.
He is only sharing the Game.exe, that's why. We need many other files than that. lol
So... until he disponibilizes the complete download. No game for everyone here.

Alright guys I added a download for the game config settings (could help) and its pending right now
what does disponibilizes mean? I am not willfully keeping you guys from downloading it, I am just learning how to give main downloads as this is my first submitted game. Thanks for your patience everyone and hopefully I'll understand it myself soon :)

Yes, the game can't load up your graphics (like the MSpaint pics), sound or data without those files. I don't have RPG Maker XP, so I don't how you package up all those files, and then encrypt them, so folks can't view them. But I'm sure there is away, since there is with VX.

(I'm assuming you know how to use Windows built-in zip file feature)
Just zip up your Project folder and upload that.
Inside the Project folder should be all the necessary folders & files: the folders for Data, Graphics & Audio, along with the Game.exe and Game.ini files.
Also, if you used any font(s) in your game not normally packaged with Windows, then put that font(s) in the Project folder before you zip it up.
Finally, if you want people to play your game without needing the RTP, then copy and paste the Audio & Graphics folders from your RTP into your Project folder before you zip it up.
The RTP is by default located on this path (for Win XP):
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Enterbrain\RGSS\Standard
However, if you'd rather not do that, then open the game.ini file in Notepad and check to make sure there's this line:
RTP1=Standard
If that line's not there, then add it and save.
Now, people will be able to play your game--but only if they install the RTP on their computers first.

What site are you uploading to? If it's this site, then I had the same problem. Try uploading to zshare.net, mediafire.com or megaupload.com

Does anybody know why my internet explorer "cant display this webpage" when I click submit after i fill out the add download information!? I've tried like 10 times and its driving me insane!!

I mean, I had the exact same problem uploading to this site. It kept saying I wasn't connected to the internet. You have to upload it to a different site, then upload it onto here by copying the URL into the URL part of the Add Download page.
