Starting Playable Characters


HERO: As the hero of this tale you get to choose both your gender and name. You are a silent hero who believes that actions speak louder then words, but not as loud as emoticons. As such you really don't say much, but at least you have your comrades to do the talking for you. Your skills are pretty well-rounded though you have lower MP than most. You can learn a lot of different spells, including self-healing and group spells.


COMPANION: God (?) allows you to take a friend with you, however the type of person they are is determined by certain questions. That said, your companion is stalwart and quiet, but there to aid you in the trials you face. Depending on your answers your companion will either be a fighter, light magic or dark magic type. They will also be the opposite gender to you, so choose well.

Other Playable Characters


SHINUA: Shinua is a determined young woman who you meet in the Segar Pub. She's on a mission to recover a stolen artifact and would like some help in doing so. As a Paladin of the Sun, stat-wise she is a great all-rounder and can use holy and fire magics. She's not afraid to voice her opinions but is easily upset and discouraged. Helping her in her quest and boosting her confidence will net her as a valuable ally further down the track.


KARLOS: Karlos is a manly knight in service to the King. His strength and defence is medium-high, though his magical skills lack in comparison. Not one for spells, he prefers brute strength over magics, though his does know some buffs, minor first aid and sword skills. He's a very serious person who is loyal to his country and King, so aiding him in protecting the peace is a great way to make him your comrade.

GOD (?): A voice in your head (or is it heart?) that guides you when needed. No, really.

BARKER: An elven maiden who owns the local pub in Segar. She's a strange woman who finds violence and anarchy a natural part of her daily life and takes most things in her stride. She's closed off access (via breaking the bridge!) to the Eastern caverns because she's sick of finding dead bodies inside. They get in the way of her walks. Not at all a typical Elf!

KING MAROS: A gentle man who should never have become a king. He's petulant, scholarly and just a bit antisocial. He hates dealing with crowds or any kind of pomp and swagger. Quite down to earth, he finds himself in a bit of a pickle when the evil king of the far North, Gosh!, wants to invade the land. He'd gladly give up his kingship, but he's smart enough to know that doing so would also result in the end of his life, and, well, there's that book he's been meaning to finish, and those scrolls he wanted to decipher and...
