More recent view of the menu. The most notable upgrade is the icons for items such as wands and bottles. As you collect multiple types the icons will show this and allow you to pick between what you have collected.

Very nice! My only suggestion is that the caps look kinda like a leaf, and the tunic graphics could be a little fine tuned. Perhaps use ALTTP tunic as a reference?

One suggestion would be to put Shield, Cap, Sword, and Tunic all in one column to the left so that switching between those categories is more intuitive. I remember being a little confused about how to get from a given category to another.

Hmm, I can see how it sort of looks like a leaf but that's the shape of his hat. It is more zoomed in than the other things. I put the lines there to give it some kind of detail but they do the job so I'll just leave it like that. The tunic's I made by taking the Link facing down sprite and erasing his arms/legs/head and forming the shoulders more. I wanted to keep these things as close to what they look like in game :P

Well, the position of stuff is set in stone. It would be quite the hassle to move those numbers for rupees/keys/bombs. But I was thinking of just making it possible to use the arrow keys to move between sections. Instead of only using the numbers 1-5. Also, I was going to create labels to let the player know what button to press for each section. The numbers you press here correspond to the numbers you will be pressing in the quickmenu, so after a while it will become a part of your memory.
