God bless the games...

Just want to say Leo & Leah is playable from start to finish now and I'll just be using the next two or three weeks or so polishing up and ironing out anything that needs to be ironed out. I may also try editing a few poses and stuff and inserting that. I'll be asking for beta-testers when that time comes. So I am guessing I will meet my March deadline.

So, yay, this is my third complete game, and admittedly, my last. Consider this my retirement. With two jobs (teaching takes up a LOT of time) and a novel to finish writing, I just won't have the time anymore. Making games take up a lot of time, y' know! I'm not an Energizer Bunny like YDS and J-Man. I have poured all I could into this project, however. I lost a lot of sleep! So hopefully the reception will be good and people will have a good time.

So now, instead, I will try to focus more on actually PLAYING more games now and doing more reviews and articles once this download is up. I might even try to do some LT's. Anything to encourage people here to make games and complete games. Maybe one day I might make another project, but it would be very short, if it ever comes to fruition. Maybe...

To conclude, hopefully my contribution to the RPG Maker community has been worthwhile. Thank you. Keep working hard. Keep flexing your creative muscles. Keep enjoying yourself. Keep making games. And God bless the games.

I like the .gifs. I hope you play and review lots of games post-L&L!
is there really a life after games... can you really call it "living"...

also i still haven't finished A Home Far Away but i liked how between that game and this one you seemed to be deliberately trying to make rpg maker games which were concise and playful rather than boring epicwarriorfantasy stuff and i was looking forward to seeing what you'd do next! pours out 40 on curb etc but good luck with the novel anyway
Hey Strangeluv,

I've admired you and your works ever since I saw those awesome projects back in the days at Gamingw.net

I understand your sentiments completely, and I'm kind of at where you want to be now. I've finished my first game a month back. I decided beforehand to retire game making after a decade once I got a completed game out. I'm a college student now and studying to get a job in the future. I'm still sticking around here to give out help when I see that it's necessary to those with dreams of making their own games.

I just want to wish you the best of luck and maybe continue to see you around - like just being there for other developers.
It's a shame that you're retiring, but I understand completely. At least you'll go out with a bang.

Kind of sorry to say that this will be the first of your games that I'll have played. I really need to check out A Home Far Away, because it looks absolutely awesome.

Woah, didn't know I had fans. Thanks man. Makes me feel good to read this post. If you really want to beta, I'll send it to you when it's ready, no problem. Congratulations on finishing your first game! And good luck with your college endeavours.

Thanks man. Sometimes I wish I was still back in college, where I just had all this time to myself! But college is just another world... I like what you say though - go out with a bang - let's hope that's the case.
Congrats on another finished game S-Luv! At least you retired with another game completed :D
I'm sure you'll be back~

yeah, i am really impressed at how you cranked this one out. since you write, it's probably easier and more inspirational being able to see your concept move and walk and talk and do all sorts of wonky things. you do shmup proud.

i think the 'scene' could learn a lot from your concept of what a rpg maker game should be. if people focused on a simpler premise and limited design scope we'd have a lot more fun, playable, entertaining games around. it would be a better world....
