***MATURE CONTENT***

You wake up naked and cold. You have no idea where you are. Screams come from all directions. Your goal is to stay alive and escape the madness. Inspired by Clock Tower, Silent Hill, and Saw. Experience horror in mind blowing 2-D! LOL! Just remember to keep running and avoid the GLASS.

I made this game for the hell of it.

**** I take no credit for the graphics and sounds ****

Wow...

I made this game for fun. I never meant to harm anyone. I was inspired by Dungeoneer. It states that I do not take credit and I figured people would know where those graphics came from. I don't need people parenting me about whats right and whats wrong. I don't have all the time in the world to create all costume graphics. SORRY! No I'm not.

Well, there isn't a download link yet...But i would have played this if so. I'll post something else when i actually can play it =)

As far as i see, nice. Old looking graphs, i like tht =D
I uploaded it last night and I'm just waiting for it to stop pending.
Got the first download, I'll try it right now.

Played a bit, but got stuck pretty early on. I'll send my notes in a PM.
Anyone requesting positive feedback makes me want to destroy everything out of spite...but this looks kinda cool, actually. I gotta check this out some time.

There are problems, and I don't care. Yes there is supposed to be sound in the intro, but no music. The pictures are supposed to flash quickly. If you get stuck.... Look around.

For best results, don't tell people you don't care

aww, true

I've beaten the game...Just something taht you should know...There are so many bugs there, with tileset passabilities, with character...Also, when you are going to insert the codes...I don't get which number im selecting...

Still...Wasn't that bad...
I like horror games. Especially when they involve a chainsaw, my favorite murder weapon. That's why I voted for that psycho killer, Helmut, to be in the next episode of 'Scream in the Dark'.
Download link's not working. Could be possible it's still trying to upload, not sure. This is what comes up.

Just downloaded it(again). Link is good.
Yeah, My next game will be ten times better. I just figured out how to make an ABS melee system. I need help making a shooting system though.. :(
You REALLY need to learn how to pack the files of your game.

ONLY ADD TO YOUR RESOURCES FOLDER THINGS YOU ARE GOING TO USE.

I just found out every single resource file from Beautiful Escape is in there. As well as every single file from the RTP. This game's download shouldn't be 128MB.
people suck at stealing custom resources
Who cares, I said I'm not taking credit. It's for fun, so yeah. people use the graphics I make all the time as well.
Hiatus, and no download link. Should have downloaded it earlier yesterday, when it was up. Crap.

There's nothing wrong with borrowing resources from another non-profit game, as long as you are not implying they are your own and giving credit to those who customized them. So if you borrowed from Great Escape and credited the designer, then no problem.

But if you took those resources and didn't credit them, that is a problem.

Who cares? Well, I haven't been with this site terribly long (5 or 6 months at most), but I've been a part of a lot of other communities and the general consensus is, when it comes to stealing resources without offering credit... everybody cares. People take the community of these sites, the designers, the work that goes into maintaining these sites, and the effort required for people to spend their hard-earned time to provide decent freeware titles very seriously. And if you don't care, well, there are plenty of other sites you can go to.

Also, the attitude of "I don't care" will only make people bash your game and not provide any insight, if they even bother downloading your game at all. Positive feedback? Feedback is feedback, regardless if positive or negative. It's not suppose to be biased or closed-minded. It's supposed to be able to offer helpful criticism (albeit, sometimes the criticism can be harsh), and tell you what you did right and what you need to fix. Unfortunately, there are times that the feedback is all negative, and that can't be helped. But telling somebody you don't care implies that you really don't want to be here, and I have to wonder why bother posting your game to begin with?

Finally, I can't speak for the mods, but from reading other forums, if you did rip the resources off another game and didn't give credit, that's a sure-fire way to get yourself banned. And whether or not you are claiming credit for resources you did not design is a moot point if you are not providing proper credit to everybody else. If you rip from another game, put them into your game and do not credit those resources, it's the same thing as implying you made them yourselves, regardless if you are claiming credit or not.

That's fascinating and all, but I still want to play this.
Yep, I don't understand why the download was taken down.
He took the download down? That is fucking pathetic. He took his ball and went home. (Or maybe he's just trimming the fat to reduce the file size and is going to reupload it, but who are we kidding?)

I played it, and it was kinda neat. Very short (a few minutes from beginning to end), I had to cheat with first keypad puzzle and look at it in RPG Maker because there are no clues WHATSOEVER as to how to solve it, but I definitely liked the chase sequences. I'd really like to see more of these Clock Tower-y chase games.

There are clues you nit wit. It's supposed to be a little challenging. It was made out of fun and humor. I'll put it back up. I'm just tired of all the haters.
