Interview with Daniel Chapers
By Bradyrules
As before, be careful: This interview contains spoilers...
We find Daniel talking with Lidya and Aeon, a little ways down from our last interview. They seem very worried about something or other, and there appears to have been a struggle in the cave next to them.
Bradyrules: Excuse me Daniel, could we borrow you for a moment?
Daniel: Oh, of course! Say, you look oddly familiar…
Bradyrules: I should! I’m the talented reporter who has been following your journey!
Daniel: Of course, of course! Here, take this autograph for your viewers. What can I do for you.
Bradyrules: Well, I was just wondering if I could have your opinion on this whole mess. What do you think about what happened back in Tar’ Jahri?
Daniel: All those innocent people…. No one in Tar’ Jahri deserved to die that day, and yet Thrusen killed them all. If I had just done my duty, I could have stopped him! But, he was far too powerful…
Bradyrules: What about Pete?
Daniel: I feel terrible that Pete is dead, he was a good lad, I should have been able to protect him…
Bradyrules: Anything else? All that you feel is guilt that you couldn’t protect him?
Daniel: Well, I suppose that is all I feel. Aeon has suffered greatly from this, but overall it made him a powerful warrior. I am honored to fight by his side.
Bradyrules: Right…. So, do you think anything like this will happen again.
Daniel: Absolutely not! We are all more powerful now, and I am sure that Thrusen will never get close enough to kill anyone ever again.
That about wraps up this interview, and as usual the only thing I get is an autographed piece of parchment. Maybe we’ll have better luck with the others, until then stay tuned.
Another important anouncement:
Act II is complete!
We are currently fixing a few design flaws, finishing the final battle and the star/transition Act/Credits screen, and then we will submit the demo for testing.
So... anyone out there feel like testing? I already have three testers: my wonderful codevelopers domrob and bradyrules, and eosdragon.
Any one else want to test? I'm not going to take more than six total, so if anyone else wants to be added either send me a PM, or post in this blog. I only ask that you have completed Act I, or are close to completing it, because the game will go right from the end of Act I into Act II. An important note involving transferring your save file:
To play Act II, and not have to start from the beginning of Act I you will need to copy your save file from the Act I folder, and paste it into the newly downloaded Act II folder.
We'll have a trailer up soon! Until then, may the F=MA be with you all!

I've seriously been thinking of doing something akin to this with Matsumori Days. I'm thinking that the angle of the interview would be having the "interviewer" be a member of the in-game school newspaper, the Matsumori Daily. I'm not sure if the mock interviews I would post would be as interesting as this series has been, but it should give insight to characters beyond merely playing the game as-is.
Go for it! It would definitly be interesting to have the interviewer in the game (Hmm... I should consider doing that) and I'm sure that you can make them interesting. I agree, interviews are a better way to offer insight to characters, allowing them to speak for themselves. I'm very happy that you have enjoyed these interviews though! Another one should be out shortly, I'll be extremly busy with something in real life for the next few days though.
