Art Refresh

There will be full file refreshing in the next version whenever the window gains focus. Right now it refreshes on project load, or when you finish doing stuff with the database or resource import dialogs.

File Refreshing?

RPG 20XX has had this for many months back when it was requested, but it wasn't fully automatic.

Unlike RPG Maker, once you import a file into your project, you don't have to do it again. If you see it doesn't look right, you can just open up the original file and edit it. Then when you get back to RPG 20XX, the changes are already visible. You can even go back and forth between your graphics editor and RPG 20XX, tweaking the graphic until it looks right.

You don't have to re-import and you get to keep your source resources organized however you want. It will track changes to the files wherever they may be.

This has been a handy feature even for myself as I draw the basic graphics you've seen in the recent images I've uploaded.

Of course, it follows that if you test play, the changes are all up-to-date in the game itself too.
