There's someone on my youtube channel who frequently comments my stuff, which I 100% appreciate. This morning I decide to check my channel and he told that he used Kyon-Lei's sprite for a contest and asked if I minded at all. Erm, okay. First of all, Kyon was made from a generator, so surely if he wanted to win some sort of contest, he could've/should've found someone better for the job.
So I click on his youtube channel and this dude's videos are literally FILLED with my shit. System-sets that I spent hours trying to edit are there (from both Complete Chaos and MMZ), battle backgrounds that I made MYSELF are there and the worst part is that he copied and pasted ENTIRE MAPS from both MMZ and CC, without editing them AT ALL (maybe adding in only ONE sprite that he "made" x.x).
His page says he's 14 so when I left him my response, I wasn't too harsh. Still, I don't expect him to listen since he's actually released this projects (*dead*) and I normally don't freak out over what happens over the interwebs, but this really, really upsets me. I started RM'ing when I was 14 too, but I NEVER thought about doing anything like this. If I wanted to use someone's stuff or what have you, I asked, and if they didn't respond, I didn't use them and settled for something else.
This seriously blows my mind. If he wanted to steal maps/system sets/entire dungeons and cities, surely he could've found someone a lot better. @.@
