It's eighteen words, dammit! EIGHTEEN!
I looked and couldn't find any post, page, or guideline concerning any required contents of a game page's blog posts. So, unless I missed a memo somewhere, or until it's posted, I'll assume the purpose of game pages having blogs is to update you, the reader, of any progress that we, the creators, make on our games, whether or not they come with flashy screen shots or more than one sentence.
So, contrary to requests made here, I will not "blog better."
By the way, I just imported a .PNG into the game's project folder. More on this as it develops.

You are able to blog about whatever you like, but don't expect people to be impressed when you just post
"gonna make my gam battle after i pick up fritos from 7/11 bbs"
"gonna make my gam battle after i pick up fritos from 7/11 bbs"
good job pushing down any blog that may or may not contain a lot of interesting information about other people's project just so you could announce that you'll soon announce something or whatever
people will certainly think better of you

Why not? Is it too much to ask? Please, drop the attitude. ...and btw, you should be glad there are no "guidelines".
I am not really sure why you could not have waited to get the screenshots to post the blog

Constructive involves the ability to build upon or improve something.
There is nothing to build upon or improve here.. this is a void.. a.. dakness...

Very constructive atmosphere here in the comments section. Really.
and what the hell are you supposed to say here?
"o cool looking forward to it!!!" that would not be anymore constructive than any of the comments here

Who said anyone had to say anything? Are you required to comment on every blog you read? I sure don't. The point of having a blog is to inform YOU.
I know there's plenty of times where I'll go to a game page and see nothing new posted in months and I wonder, "is this game still being worked on?" My one sentence blog post just answered that question for you. When I get new information regarding this project, I post it. It doesn't matter whether or not that information is brief, long, pushes down a blog post on the main page (there's a big giant "Blogs" button in the site's top navigation for anyone who's that concerned, not to mention you have the ability to subscribe to a game page and be personally notified of new blog posts for said game page), etc.
Finally, I've edited a line in a script. Whoa.
I think that the unwritten rule of blogs is to have at least a few sentences about what is going on at that time. So you could edit it to say something about the actual battle system - like whether or not it keeps the character commands and if it's set up like the original or not. Then add a line or two about what you're currently doing - messing around with a few scripts, thinking about how to implement such and such, how well the team is getting along and what-not.
As it is, this game has a lot of people keeping an eye out for it and every little tidbit is looked forward to, so a one liner is a pretty big let down. Just keep it in mind for future blog posts, okay?
