Name: Stiver Magnus
Class Archetype: Guard
Game-play Style:
- Tank/meatshield. Highest HP in the game.
- Also slowest. Go figure.
Notes:
- Peripheral male lead. Yes, a slow meatshield/tank as a male lead. What is this world coming to?
- And not just that, but.. well, you'll find out.
- His expressions are really hard to do with that hat in the way.
- UPDATE: The sword got dropped.

It's cool. I'm kind of disappointed about the weapon though. I don't know, I thought from the outlook of the game that the character would have really original weapons but we're once again down to the two handed sword. I wish the fact that he's a paladin would have been reflected in his weaponery like swiwing a giant cross, explosive holy water or something, crucifix shaped machine gun :).

It's cool. I'm kind of disappointed about the weapon though. I guess that could still be arranged. Let's see what other massive two-handed objects we can come up with (not necessarily paladin-related).

Yeah, a two-handed sword? In a world with guns? Really? >_> (Re: Lavitz debate...) I just really wonder why. I guess you're relying on heavy suspension of disbelief?
By the way, uh, is this going to get spoilery? Because I tend to like being able to go "Ooh, I wonder if this character is going to join my party?" and not "Oh hey, was mentioned! That means he's going to join my party soon!" or something... Will party members be gradually added, or will you generally get most of them near the start, like the Final Fantasies appear to be doing nowadays?
(And you're right, it must be so hard to draw expressions for him. :( His right eye just looks like a blob of brown all the time...)

Haha, nah actually there's a few very important reasons why he's running around with a giant blade like that. Both story-wise, and symbolically.
Spoiler-wise, well the only character that might be a "this person joins your team!" spoiler would be the fifth one. All the others pretty much join you as soon as they're introduced.

Ah, glad there's a reason for it this time. Will look forward to seeing it. Glad to know I won't be getting too many spoilers, too. I'll just avoid the fifth character then.
It would actually be interesting if Stiver turns out to be related to Gray somehow! Especially since their cloaks look rather similar, as do their fighting styles and stat layouts, I would assume...
The only thing that throws this off is the fact that they have different eye and hair colours (are you going for more realistic ones this time, by the way?), but, uh...I guess red eyes and silver hair are recessive traits? :p

Heh, oddly enough I somehow didn't notice the Escher-esque scabbard/cloak thing until you pointed it out.
Remember kids, if you have to commit a crime in front of a witness, I'm your man. I likely won't even remember your hair color. ;P
Also, guardian sounds like fun to mess with (low speed actually synergizes with it from a certain perspective). And with a stat spread like that, I hope mind is pretty useful cause I might find it hard to justify using Leon over Stiver other than to have Leon's EX handy. I suppose I'll have to see what other abilities these two will end up bringing to the table (since you mentioned that these were only some of what they could have) before I can really make that call in the end, though.

Interesting looking character. He kinda reminds me of Jack Van Burace from Wild Arms (hopefully he'll be as good with his sword). I really like his stats, except SPD obviously.
