As two hooded figures break into the Vatican with the intention to steal the Holy Grail, they stumble upon an old book that narrates the true story about the demise of an ancient civilization. As they begin to read it, the player is suddenly transported into the fateful night in which those events shaped the destiny of the world...

The first part of the story follows the path of the young Princess Indira and her Royal Guard as they try to flee the Queendom. They carry with them the 'Lunar Crown', a powerful artifact that the enemy desperately needs. The story then follows Zohar and Sirius, two holy knights from a far away land, with the mission to defeat the 'Dark Lord'; A being who not only is a threat to mankind, but also seeks to wage war against the Heavens.

And as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the night is about to fall once more upon the earth. And in a world that has long forgotten the glories of Valor and Magic, this time the sky might remain dark forever!
