they're nice, though. they look like their map sprites.
BTW, the whole floating battle stage is also what i had wanted to do for a long time with Oathguard.
I gave up because I couldn't find or make one (I have no artistic talent).
I think our game making brains must be on the same frequency or something :)

@NicoB, Darken: Yeah, those are edits from Fire Emblem. Many of the enemies and the faces I'm using are rips/edits from that series too.
@Mellytan: Oathguard looks fantastic already, and its battle setup is pretty clever too. I wonder what you could do if you had 'artistic talent'.
But look at it on the bright side, at least this way you don't have to make so many effin' battle animations. Heh; =_= ...And thanks for the compliment!
