Hello, I am Bizarre Monkey, and this is my second game. I have polished the campaign which is over 5 hours long now. This is version 1.1.9, while it may be true that 5 hours is no epic, not everything has to be a grand scale epic like Final Fantasy, you can also save any time you have control of your character (outside mini-games) making it ideal for both the working man and those unconstrained by time.

A group of three regular animals are doing what they usually do to live, which includes scheming, theft, and by no means any real dangerous crimes. after being worried about suspiscion of a recent theft involving fish they go off to Tristy's house to take a break for ten days, reciting past events and such, they soon realize they had'nt heard from Pep in a while, but soon find out he was sleeping under the couch. Then all of the sudden, a massive foe emerged, iconized by a gaseous Blue Face with jagged teeth and eyes, the foe immediately brings forth a quick battle, in which the entity inevitably wins, they find themselves in some sort of Undead City, they are later told that it is a necropolis, and that they have been slain. On command of superiors, they then begin training in an attempt to save the world from his Madness.

Rolly Fatdog
Species: Beagle
Age: 3 human years
IQ: 126
Origin: New Jersey
Gender: Male

Rolly is a good-hearted green dog who loves his food. He loves brawling as well. So he will pick just about any excuse to go on an adventure. Despite his arguing with Pep and excessive brawling and eating, he seems to be the most level headed of the three, he is also the least intelligent, but that doesn't make him any less formidable in battle, he has enough knowledge to know his weight is his weapon, usually doing body slams, rollouts, stomps, and moving his whole body to increase the power of his punches.

Pep Cookiedoe
Species: Tabby
Age: 2 human years
IQ: 145
Origin: London
Gender: Male

Pep is a hyperactive red cat who loves red cordial, it is all he ever drinks or eats for that matter, due to the red dye in his drink he has turned that color himself. He and Rolly met after being running away or migrating from their homes, meeting in Reunion Junction, a place now called Messenger's Landing. Pep's personality is often erratic, and can be very nice, sad, cynical and silly, all changing from one to another on a moments notice, there are a few constants however, Pep will either get very upset, tempered or depressed when he doesn't have any red cordial, when Pep has recently had red cordial, he is very happy, extremely optimistic, and usually floating, though red cordial in the game is an item which revives players for no apparent reason, Pep usually refers to it as an addiction which can not be stemmed. While Tristy and Rolly just Pass this off and try to help him find something else to do, Pep does seem to get seriously depressed when no red cordial is within reach, almost to a breakdown stage.

None the less Pep is a good friend and keeps the story entertaining, from wacky stories about when he met a Clown to his visions when he has had one drop of red cordial too many. Pep is responsible, and does have morals, though barely.

Tristy Heals
Species: Mountain Kangaroo
Age: 4 human years
IQ: 168
Origin: Mallanganee
Gender: Female

Tristy is a mountain kangaroo who finds Rolly and Pep looking through bushes at a mysterious man, she has since been in their party, healing wounds and helping Rolly deal with Pep's craziness. Tristy is laid back and carefree most of the time, but she knows when there is real danger and acts accordingly. She has high charisma too, she stopped the war between dogs and cats and led the charge upon Maw and concealed him in a high tech security pirson... the victory however, was short lived.

Tristy seems to be the only person in the party with an accent or lingo. Tristy is also the most intelligent of the group, with her status page showing an I.Q of over 160, most humans who had this kind of IQ would be referred to as super human, her IQ is higher than Pep despite him being a Technological Wizard, but this is largely because of Pep's lack of common sense.

Limbo Bingo
Species: Skeleto
Age: 166 human years
IQ: 154
Origin: The Necropolis
Gender: Male

Limbo is the most recent addition to the party, during a Maintenance test in The Slammer, --a massive food processor that keeps all inhabitants of the Necropolis well fed and happy-- Safiercat and Limbo were figuring out what the problem with one of the output shafts was, Safiercat said Push the Big Red Shiny Button, which sent Limbo to the world of the living, much to his chagrin. Shortly after the currently 3 adventurers catch sight of the muling Skeleto, and shortly afterwards he joins the party, with the ideal 'It will give me something to do' while he waited for Safiercat to fix the problem or he died properly again. Limbo is very stuck in the Skeletopian way of life, which revolves around having childrens parties and basically nothing else. When he does sparingly reminisce of his life it seems he may have been a Swashbuckler, a pirate if you will. Details about this are sparse but it is the closest anyone has gotten to his history.

Generally, Limbo is very easy to get along with, and gets over anger quickly, to the point of forgetting something uncharitable he said to someone at the focus of his anger. His Shirt is globally recognised as the best shirt ever, and respectably fabulous to boot.

The World is an evolved version of ours, fast forwarded 40 years when humans have left the planet and the animals have been left to roam free. During the time the "old ones" have been away the world has healed tremendously and the Wildlife has become rather intelligent and have made their own civilization. While still looking like Normal earth cats, kangaroos, dogs, mice or what have you, their intelligence has increased tremendously. Making a primitive yet interesting version of our earth. Humans are also disliked by most animals in general due to them leaving the whole place behind, some see it the other way, that them leaving made sure they were there today, all biased on their upbringing.

The Wildlife also refer to Humans as "Old Ones", seeing as most of the humans have been around for a while and have a longer lifespan than most animals, it is also because they do not remember what they called themselves as when humans were last here their pets were too primitive.

1.1.9 Trailer (Up to Date!).

Item tooltips showcase as well, thanks StormCross. (Up to Date!)

Patch 1.1.9 (Build 4)

General:
- Ryu's Pendant was changed to Blu Pendant and now gives 5% MP Regen instead of double experience gain, which was breaking the game in some cases.
- Nerfed the Damage multiplier on Party Fever slightly.
Encounters:
- Cenobites had their health increased to 5000 from 750.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed a bug that occured with Lingoless Lament if you got it early be means of bonus experience gain, and tried using it on Cenobites which would cause an error to occur, removing its death infliction on attack nullified the issue.
- Fixed up some coherency between what happens in game and the Biography on the Status Menus.
- The party now ages 10 years on the status menu when you begin act three.
- Fixed a cosmetic faceset error when you went to hope post-plantation.
- Lingoless Lament no longer ignores defence, meaning it wont pierce Pyro's barrier.

Patch 1.1.9 (Build 3)

General:
- All JPEG artefacts are now PNG, with the exception of all but one battle background.
- Brisbane got a new battleback, credit to Ronove.
- Introduction and Departure from Earth changed slightly.
- End of Act Bosses now have smaller battlers.
- The Game Launch Icon has changed to something more Iconic.
- Title Screens were modified to contrast less colorwise.
- The ship interface for "Old Ones" in the Introduction has changed colour to make it less seemingly identical to Galaxion console.
- Gameover Inducing buttons removed.
- Gameover PSYCHE removed. Have plans to add it in somewhere later.
- BlueSky changed to VX Ace instead of incompetently put together homestuck cloudscreen.
- A few graphics have changed due to my inability to back shit up.
- Pep's Happy mood face has been changed to something less creepy and irrefusably more charming.
- The Angry and Sad Emotion of the Rolly faceset have been changed to give more charm.
- The Wink, Unamused, Angry and Sad Emotions of Tristy's Facesets have been changed in favour of more charm.
- Changed the faces of most of the Ancient Ones.
- A few bits of flavour text have been changed.
Encounters:
- Heelfoxes in brisbane reduced from 4 to 2.
- Shadow Pixies in Spriteopia down from 8 to 4, the mimics are no longer there and instead simply give one item each.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed an issue with Pep's Elemental Fury ability which would on occasion cause Pep to turn invisible instead of growing, now he has an animation play that maybe slightly familiar.
- Fixed a bug that could be gamebreaking which involved entering gaseous when you werent meant to.
- Fixed a gamebreaking issue with Pyro caused by a missing Tankentai sequence he invoked near the end of battle.
- Fixed the passability of some recently modified events.
- Fixed a bug which may have been causing Galaxia to be un-enterable.
- Fixed a few typos and mistakings, such as Trixie which should be Tristy.
- Safiercat's name should now be fully redacted. Safael should have replaced every form of Safiercat.
- Fixed a bug with Old Mac's Munchies that when exited would drop you out the exit of Kirsill's Kiosk.
- Fixed a Gamebreaking Bug that occured when leaving the training halls in the Necropolis prematurely.
- Probably heaps more I forgot about.

Patch 1.1.9

General:
- Asides from item icons, all art has been redone, and the tilesets modified in such a way as to not force the game to look like shit.
- Faces are now 192x192 pixels, allowing for extra expression and less limitations on size.
- Additional flare has been added to existing cutscenes, the most notorious example of such would be The War between Cats and Dogs and the Opening Sequence.
- Universal Travel has been modified and feels a fair bit more aesthetic.
- Galaxia has been given a face lift (again) and the art for each Galaxion has been updated.
- Music Rearrangement has taken place, all World of Warcraft music tracks are gone (thank god) and scenes should play a lot more aesthetically.
- The Map of the East Coast is gone, It was too big, took too long to load, and made events bug if they were outlying too far from center.
- Map Title Screen script removed for now, but it did not go without reason.
- Players can now have up to 99 save slots.
- Many maps have seen small to significant redos, examples of small touch ups include Tristy's Attic (Verandah again), Tristy's House, Brisbane (only a little, sadly, until neo brisbane anyway.), Roof, Pep's Hovel, Rolly's Shelter, Tristy's Apartment, The Pacific Highway, Casino, Prison of the Frostlord, Prison of the Firelord (and the others too.), The Darkvoid, Spriteopia and The Necropolis. Significant Redos of maps include all stages of the Untai Shrine and Brisbane in Act 3, which I will let you take a look at, the game will end when you attempt to teleport up to the skybridge.
- 64 weapons now take the spotlight, but in truth, you'll only see 24 of them pre-1.2 (sorry!).
- Each character has a choice of two weapon types, based mostly on preference, since currently the mechanics for each weapon are practically the same.
- The Sleep, Shop and Explore commands are gone from the main menu, there are now inns and shops that dot the land and you can find your Galaxion Zipper post Maw's Defeat at departure island.
- In order to seal the above change, Tents no longer exist as an item.
- Trains, Buses and Monorails now dont all look like Buses, Monorails look like Monorails, Trains look like Trains and Buses look like Buses, obviously. (All modifications to Pineda's Bus sprite, seriously nothing will defeat that thing.)
- Many skills and some items have been renamed to feel less like they were pulled from Final Fantasy and more like I thought of them, hopefully.
- Limbo has been modified slightly, he now has two more skills to learn, and he has become unique because of the star on his shirt.
- All other Skeletopians now do not have a yellow star on their shirt.
- Choiceboxes have been redesigned to be less shitty and support waypoints.
- More polish and flavour text has been added around, its fun to do!
- Safiercat has been renamed Safael and his sprite has been updated to not look like a garrish piece of shit.
- Got rid of shitty singular resistance trinkets (Maw's essence, Pyro's essence etc.) and added four new ones with meaningful effects.
- New animations have been placed, most noticeably those from VX Ace.
- All VX Ace sound effects are now in the game, but are currently not all used because theres a lot of them.
- A lot of battle commands have been changed in name.
- New Battlebacks, ported from VX Ace and possibly modified by my own doing.
- Pyro got a new mechanic that is... well wait and see! He also now goes by turns instead of health, dont worry about killing him too quickly, it wont be a thing to worry about. (Unless you beat me at my own game. :P)
Characters:
All characters have a new skill at level 30, that they will be able to test out on Pyro.
Rolly
- His class has been redacted to Brawler. His abilties command is now 'Green Esteem!'.
- He can now choose either Fisticuffs or Ninja Stars for weapons.
Pep
- His Class is now called Demolionist. His abilties command is now 'Destruction!'.
- He can now choose either Rifles or Bombs for weapons.
Tristy
- She is still in the class of 'Cleric'. Her abilities command is now 'Transendance!'.
- She can choose either Staves or Boomerangs for weapons.
Limbo
- He is still a 'Guardian', his abilities command is now 'Party Fever!'.
- He can choose either Swords or Shields for weapons.
- He has two new abilities, Antematter Blast (Single target wrecking blast that is unreliable in hitting, but if it hits does 750 Damage and inflicts Burn, Blind and Silence.) and Death Storm (All target storm of death that inflicts death or does 500 damage to all opponents who are immune to such effects.)

So your cries have been heard, and like the banana laden little twat I am I have decided to answer your cries and give you a game that isn't forced to look like shit.

Music is better too, there's no WoW music anymore, if that means anything, it should.

None of the Music or sound effects are mine save for 3 lines of Tristy voice acting, yeah it sounds horrible, do I care? Nope. Oh yeah, and one of Pep's in which he promptly flips off the one at the receiving end of his vocal anomalies in a really shitty put on london accent. Its pretty amusing though because I bleep out the "bad word".

It takes me about 3 hours and 30 minutes to finish this beginning to end, but I know how everything works. Your mileage may vary. On average people have recorded about 5-6 hours to finish.

If I missed crediting anyone please do say so, so I may add their name to the list.

The game is open source now, not like that means anything. (asides from the fact you can help me out with bugfixing and typos. xB)

This is a Non-commercial Project, and I am distributing it freely so the community can get enjoyment out of it.

Please do not redistribute, or post on another forum, if you wish to post it on another forum, let me know, so I can keep a watch on the Topic.

Back from brief absence. Dev is coming along nicely, plus Patch Notes. (UPDATED)

Very few of you may know this, but after 1.0 was released I came across Terraria, a game much like minecraft but as a 2d side scroller, and many other smaller differences, it had me hooked for a good 2 weeks before I beat it, now I have put it away until I finish 1.1, that didn't however, stop me from trying out Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, which had been sitting in my steam library undownloaded because it was 4 gigabytes in size and at the time, i had a 20 gig cap.

Once that all changed, I downloaded, and I played. At first I thought "An Oddworld game not about Abe, I can't imagine it..." BUT! it is one of the best games I've played in years, a game that does stealth, action adventure, and first person shooter together... and well! Like, I cannot name how many games have failed when stealth has been their main thing, but this game does what I thought impossible and combines the three elements and its in oddworld, which instantly makes the scenery and graphics stunning. The 3d still looks good and the developers know how to bring out the oddworld look that keeps you crunching for more. I just had to put it down before I got hooked on it like I did Terraria so I could actually work on my game.

A good list of planned features is coming, here's some early in development features, and the progress on them.

1.1
General:
The Exploration update will give you access to a vortian cruiser once you have completed act I, once it is yours you will be able to ride through the universe and explore the worlds that never made it on the rpg maker, you can get a look at Galaxion, Byteopia, Hope and Spriteopia. You will have to obtain an undecided item to be able to survive on Galaxion though. There will also be more planets you can explore, but for now that remains a mystery. - Work has begun, the three Galaxies have been created, our milky way, the Inner reaches, and the outer reaches.(Work on a planet has begun.)
Most exterior areas of planet earth have been combined into one, making a massive and seamless map. - Done save for adding events. (This may not be in the final version depending on lag or difficulty to implement.)
Change to the A2 tileset and Tile E, The blood/bloodied sand is now replaced by snow and snowy grass, and tile E has been reorganised and a proper looking blood trail has been added.(All done, the blood looks great.)
Proofreading - Gonna have someone else do it for me.
Sprucing up of The High Road and aquarium. - Done.
Extra Waypoint Nodes to optional areas. - Haven't started, but looking forward to.
Puzzle to enter aquarium - Scrapped old one, started on new one.
Rolly and Pep flashback of when they meet - Done.
Tristy's Flashback of imprisoning Maw. - Done.
More save slots. - Cancelled.
Making tileset in my image. - Scrapped. Instead Night'Walkers tiles will be used, and the rest of the RTP tiles will have their saturation value increased by 20%-80%.
Making Battlebacks in my image. - Scrapped, instead I made map battle backs.
Animated Facesets for the three main characters. - All done. Limbo won't be getting an animated face set, as he is a skeleton, so it would be kind of silly.
New monsters are coming to the aquarium, big powerful ones. - Done.
Vort has been renamed to Spriteopia, and it has new character and picture graphics to give the world the mystical colourful feel it has been presented with in the past.
Oddworld has been renamed to Byteopia, and it has new character and picture graphics to go along with the worlds lore.
All instances of Vort and Oddworld have been replaced with Spriteopia and Byteopia.
Many new monsters. - Coming along, but slowly.
Characters: Limbo
Due to the loss of his broken and buggy ability, Dark Sacrifice in 1.0, Limbo will now be taught two new abilites.
Angel of Death: Attempts to inflict death on the target, if the target is immune, it will do damaged instead. - Done.
Summon Necropolis: At level 20, Safiercat gives Limbo the power to summon the necropolis to the players location. - Done
And probably more I have forgotten about.

I apologize deeply for how long this is taking, but don't worry, it will be done.

This looks trippy...but awesome.
Yeah, it is meant to be wacky, a lot of people who tested it like it, I thought I would bring it here when it's plot was finished. Good luck.
In the bridge screenshot, you have a grammatical error. :o
you have "of" instead of "off"
but yeah, trippy looking game.

definitely have a long game profile.
Thank you, I'll fix that.

The long game profile is because this is my first time on this site, it's completely different to the usual site layout I'm used to al a HBgames.org or RMRK.net

Info is info though. :)
Nice Irken. I was also wondering, the area name in the corner, and the items appearing over your head, Scripts? If so, I am interested in having them o...o and do hope to be pointed in the right direction for them. It seems pretty nicely made for custom though.

The map name script is one of shanghai's, it was on the pocketwiki originally but that site has been shut down for some reason. You can find her script and many other cool ones here.

I can give you help for the Item pop ups aswell, that's a script from OriginalWij, here's a link to the topic.
BUMP
To 1.0, which is the complete game!

Patch Notes can also be found on the first page.
Patch 1.0
General:
All known bugs Have been fixed.

Have fun. :)
Eh, I guess this is dead to this site. But I will keep it here, just so you guys can get it and / or say the screenshots aren't brilliant artowkr (even though I never said they were.)

It seems this site likes a good Art style, something I don't have, but it fits the game well, also, I don't think I've seen anything with an art style like this. Also, some of the greatest games to date had terrible graphics,(Think Minecraft) and some of the worst games to date had incredible graphics (think Crysis, which has terrible game play and has a very cliche plot. I've heard the most common reason people play is because it is pretty.)

It also seems that Wacky/Original are bad things, which makes me want to question this site's credibility. Everyone I've talked to who has "Played" this game, rather than look at its screenshots and title, (and inevitably read its plot) have really enjoyed it.

Also, this forum is very different compared to most I go too, for example Games usually go in a forum, instead of being submitted to a huge database. (There's a site which does this in a similar manner, but its not against the rules to post it in the forums.) This is the reason my page was so long, (the hide tags don't work either, which doesn't help). And what is supposed to be a thread turns into a few lines or maybe 7-10 lines, then the rest is up to the screenshots, which LockeZ kindly pointed out, aren't Brilliant artwork.

So what, those who don't have a tablet or who don't use RTP or request stuff from other people like leeches are left out? This just seems like a very heavy handed move, I'm sure this site has many cool features. (for example, the CSS profile pages) It is just not the site for me, since it seems good artwork and short posts is key, and that is not what makes a game fun, it helps, but it certainly won't make a game. I will honestly admit that the nicest thing I've had happen here is Deacon be nice to me, this was surprising since we were enemies on #RRR, it is nice we can be friends than be bitterly arguing.

Have fun everyone, if you by chance want the updates for this game, you can go to one of the other sites I host it on, not saying which to avoid avertising my game and/or forum.

Incase it wasn't obvious, I won't be updating this, no one is interested in a game with no "Brilliant Artwork". Also I uploaded atleast 20 more screenshots so maybe you can have a hemmorage from my non-brilliant artwork.

Have fun.

P.s: I do not mean for this post to offend anyone, LockeZ is pretty cool from what I have seen of him and I don't need an arch-nemesis, leave that for the superheroes. (And the mods/admins are awesome.)

RMN doesn't like me enough to give me a user title. :(

People won't pay attention to your game for a variety of reasons. I don't think the art style is the problem so much that... Uh... I don't really know. It could be that the "weird" style of the game isn't appealing to a lot of people. I see that this page was here since last month but I only just discovered it today. The fact that you got a review means that you are at least getting SOME attention, so don't lose hope, kid.

Oh, and welcome, RRR migrant. I'll give this game a try.

Maybe the title is scary............................???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have absolutely no clue! As for me vx lags so bad on my computer, i just don't download any vx games, but i'll try anyway(the lag may ruin it though...) I find your screeshots really good and i don't think anyone would think otherwise!
BM, I've always been of the impression that when it comes to RMN, it's a great way to host your game. The game site is probably the most organized and complete in terms of finding most available games, and they also cover several game making engines that are not associated with RM (Game Maker, AGS, Sphere, etc.). But without also being able to have an actual forum to discuss the game, the game falls short in terms of feedback. You could, of course, use the "Blog" section of your profile, where you can update and request feedback, but as you said it's just a matter of people coming to visit the game page in the first place.

Now, whereas feedback may be plentiful everywhere else, I also find that at times the listing of games is much less organized on other sites. Sometimes I just want quick access to a game and don't want to hunt through hundreds of forum postings to find it, which is why I like RMN in that regards.

So my advice is... keep hosting the game here with its updates, but look elsewhere for the feedback. Don't give up yet. Only 36 DL's, but that's over a timeframe of less than 2 months, so not too shabby in my opinion, considering this is your second game, but the first that has been semi-completed. Also, anytime somebody posts here, or whenever you update your blog or the DL, it pushes your game to the front of the list (in terms of last updated). Chances are that there are people that might not have seen it yet, and that one update may drive them to DL it.

Another thing to consider is that since I posted the review, there have been a handful of additional DL's in the past few days. I'm not sure if that's coincidence or not, but it's possible people were on the fence, not really knowing what the game was about or if they would like it or not, and seeing a review that discusses the game in some detail might have encouraged them to give it a go. I'm like that myself some times, waiting for somebody to try out a game and post a review before I'm willing to take the time and play it myself.
I'm back, sorry I left guys. Amerkevicius you're right, and I didn't know the game got bumped each time a new download was presented. Thats pretty cool.

Well, there are no more updates just yet. I'm working heavily on 1.1 as we speak.

Amerkevicius is a friend from rmvx.net, he's also the only one on that site (until now) who knew I went here. But don't worry, i don't lose hope, I've got a four page thread over on rmvx.net, I just posted it here when the plot was complete. (The Changlelog is each demo build, it did start as 0.1, and I kept working on it because people liked it.)

Oh, and welcome, RRR migrant. I'll give this game a try.

I see you know of the 'turth' thread. (Mess with my friends and I go apeshit, it's generally not a good idea. I am deeply ashamed though, the heat of the moment makes us primeapes go bananas!)

Thanks for giving the game a try.

On a more joyful note, 1.1 is coming along extremely nice, making an epic scene with some similarities to this.

P.s: Sorry for all the monkey puns, I couldn't help myself.
Yes, it does bump it up when a new DL is posted, but unlike other sites, it bumps it every time there is even a new posting, regardless if it's from you or somebody else. So... while it does make it convenient, it also means you are in competition with other games getting similar bumps (sort of like a bumping war).

On the other side, you're over 40 dl's now, so it appears to be working.
Awesome, this game also has a blog now, on the blog is a changelog for the features in the upcoming patch, which I have updated relatively recently.

I may update it today if I get some more work done.
Dev is coming along slowly but surely, did a lot of it in the last two days, but now I have a strange error occuring in a cutscene, a picture is dissapearing bfore it completes its cycle, and is stopping further events from playing.

So after this post has been made, I will go try to figure out what kind of shenanigans are in place. I keep thinking the game is just getting too big, but that can't be the problem, as RPG Maker VX games I've made before have not had this issue, I'm beginning to think some data may be corrupted.

Alternatively, it could simply be a script I'm using, I'm largely suspecting Modern Algebra's Animated Parallax script. But Modern Algebra is a good coder and I can't see any of their scripts being game-breaking.

Just gonna place scripts below main untl shit starts working, if I remove all custom scripts and this shit is still happening, then my fears may become reality.

Data is corrupted... not that this is completely unfixable, it may just take a while.

Anyhow, off I go. I'm also posting in a site that is basically 'dead to me' because I just figured out how to set multiple genres and flavours, and I couldn't be assed going through several pages of games just to see if it worked, so I'll simply play the 'bump' game.

To finish off, I do like the new site design, not so unbeleivably awkward now. And that is always a good thing. It may even tempt me to visit it more than once a fortnight.

Edit: Managed to figure it out, very simple self switch bug that was causing one of the problems, and rotating pictures that are too big just stops them showing, and so I was able to fix that error. No script was incompatible, no data was corrupted, it was a simple overlooking of something I didn't consider.

Which is a massive relief. And I feel satisfied that I fixed it.
Okay, I'm moving back to my hometown, so I won't have internet connection for four days.

Just thought I'd let you all know. Toodles.
I'm back, or more I've been back for a while, but have been too busy with dev, gotten my spirit in it again, and its going well.
Made a new trailer, guarenteed to be 300% more awesome than the one that used to be in the post above.

Please enjoy Gentlemen, on another exciting note, Patch v1.1 is nearly complete, all thats left is a small amount of bugfixing.

Expect an update now.
Sorry for the delay of posting, folks.

This the big patch for Intelligence, almost to the point of being expansion worthy.

The changelog is in the Public Profile as well as here.

There's also a trailer, which has been updated to get rid of errors and better music timing.

- Maw has been relinquished to the realm of non-existence. But his Death only fuels the five other Ancient Ones rage, shortly after the three adventurers defeat maw and start chilling, Pyro decides instead of going to them, he will wait patiently in his own Prison, deciding it is best if the so called slayers are the challenge he wishes for. He sends out a few minions in his stead to 'test' the so called heroes as well.
- This update will give you access to a Galaxion Cruiser once you have completed Act 1, once it is yours you will be able to ride through the universe and explore the worlds that never made it on the rpg maker, you can get a look at Galaxia, Spriteopia, Hope and Byteopia. There will also be more planets you can explore, but for now that remains a mystery.
- Once you have completed Act 1 and walk outside Tristy's house, you are greeted with the beautiful and unbeleivably large world map. which is more or less a seamless merge of all exterior earth areas with the exception of Departure Island and whatever other landmasses I created that aren't attached to the East coast of Australia. The gaps will be filled in with optional areas and shrines, theres also a never before seen ingame town; Ballina. A coastal port village with mostly residential housing. A new section of Brisbane has also been added, West Brisbane has a variety of differently shapes skyscrapers, to the south of this new area, is a road down to Casino, and a narrow forest path to a graveyard, when you go into the crypt, you enter the necropolis yet again, this will play into Limbo learning a new ability, as well as getting his Ultimate weapon. - Done.
- Changes to the A2 tileset and Tile E, The blood/bloodied sand is now replaced by snow and snowy grass, and tile E has been reorganised and a proper looking blood trail has been added to Tile E.
- The Necropolis has Been split up into five maps, basically abolishing any lag that may have existed therein.
- The End Credits are now skippable, and the interactivity has been scrapped.
- Spruced up The High Road and aquarium.
- Spruced up Gaseous, Final Room and Prison.
- Spruced up tons of other maps I've forgotten.
- Added so many maps I couldn't possibly list them all.

Characters
Rolly
- Rolly has wandered the halls of the Necropolis, travelled the open void of space, taken breath into the lifeless planet of Gaseous, defeated an Ancient One, slain an immortal demigod, rescued his buddies on multiple occasions, eaten every dish known to man, walked around an entire state, been greeted as friends by the Guardian of the Universe, been resposible for the promotion of a Demigod, walked around with an undead partygoer and still he does not feel whole, but once he reaches level 20, all that changes, he learns to strike, like a Titan, the Titan Strike ability hits all opponents with moderate damage, and also decreases their defence by 50%, not only that, it increases the parties defence twofold. Now Rolly can defend his friends before the fire starts getting hot, and send the enemy to their unnailed graves before anything critical can become of anyone or anything he cares about.
Pep
- Countless times casting has given Pep quite a good array of new abilities, the newest of these, available at level 20, puts the nail in the coffin for any enemies in Pep's path, Elemental Fury allows Pep to grow and his brainpower increase, allowing to cast the spells, Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Water in that order on all enemies.
Tristy
- In most cases, Tristy is the healer, dedicated to keeping her party alive, though she was taught to use discipline only when absolutely nessecary, recent face offs with despicable foes have made Tristy aware that sometimes disciplinary measures are the ONLY way to solve a problem, and thus, she learned a decent offensive ability, that shadowed her other offensive abilities in power and righteousness, this ability, Rain of Stars, is like Zealotry, in that she jumps in the air, levitates and throws objects around at different things, thats where the similarities end, the holy stars are propelled at enemy targets, like a shower of heavenly justice, the stars... while doing a rather small amount of damage on their own, are thrown twelvefold, and the ability is quite devastating.
Limbo
Due to the loss of his broken and buggy ability, Dark Sacrifice in 1.0, Limbo will now be taught two new abilites.
- Angel of Death: Attempts to inflict death on the target, if the target is unaffected, it will do damage instead.
- Summon Necropolis: At level 20, The Grim Reaper gives Limbo the power to summon the necropolis to the players location.

The reason for the extended wait is simply because I put in it on vx.net and omega-dev.net first, got tired, went to bed, and then I woke up, and thought; "Hey, those guys at rpgmaker.net might actually want to see this".

Have fun guys.
Small Bump to Version 1.1.4

This versions key features are bugfixes, however, there are a couple extras I snuck in.
Patch 1.1.4
General:
- Galaxia has been redone map wise, Galaxia is the first map of this game to use Parallax Mapping and (now that I have discovered how to do it) probably not the last.
- Two music Tracks have been added, one for the reprint of Galaxia and one for Poolington of Byteopia.
- New music track composed by RavenBlueIndigo, Purple Forest is now played in the Darkvoid, meeting its Green Forest counterpart in Spriteopia.
- Party Room now has a few Treasure Chests.
- A Fair few Hope maps redesigned to be better and more appealing. This change can be seen in the updated trailer.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed Transition from Party Room leading to the wrong map.
- Fixed Doom's Gameover Sequence failing to Initialize. Simple ID Change can do so much damage.
- Postmartia has been slightly adjusted so the tint of the Mail Turret firing is more suitable.
- Corrected a few bits of Polish.
- Loads of other imcomprehensible bugs.

Galaxia looks like an empire turned to stone now, instead of a rocky cave with a few statues. Don't beleive me? You can see part of the new Galaxia and most of hope at certain parts in the below Trailer.
Enjoy all, and sorry this bugfix patch was late in coming. Recently I bought a playstation 2 and have been going wild with Ratchet and Clank 3.

Added an Item tooltips video as well, thanks go out to Stormcross for giving me an excuse to use all those pictures I wasted my endless void of time drawing.

Started work on Menagerie, it will hopefully provide some fresh new stuff to ogle at and mess around with, for those who don't know, Menagerie is the next Project coming along the Bizarre Monkey Productions line, a new IP I will be concentrating on greatly in the following months, it will likely be released as a demo, and then upgraded with versions until 1.0, much like how this game was. If you want information on it, the biggest source of it is on my blog, if you don't want the entire story synopsis spoiled, I'd recommend reading past the most recent post on my blog.

It seems the main poster in this thread is me now, while I'm sure there are still people who would love to play this, I'm not going to take it down, but updates will cease until Menagerie 0.1 is released.

7/10, I'm happy to take that for my second 'real' project, compared to Terra's 2/10 and the difference in development time for each, this game has shown me what being original and innovative can yield. Next year I will be learning scripting, and hope to in time, make my own engine. I will likely make Intelligence again from scratch, utilizing the same oddball sense of confusion and offscale color, characters and story that made this game good, and changed my life in the process.

Back to working on Menagerie for me. See you all in the world of Menagerie, which takes place on a planet which has yet to have a name. (I'm serious, I haven't though of a name for it yet. But I'll likely make it something odd and quite likely tied into the time the events of Intelligence have taken place.)

It's placeholder for now is Azuron. But I'm likely going to change that.
