Shawshank Dead Redemption: Red's Revenge is an entry for the 4-hour contest. It's a badaption. Horribly short, unpolished and bad - so much that it's fun.

OH NOES!

You start medias in res, trying to save your comrade Andy. You play in a single hallway stabbing a few zombies before rushing towards him and ending the game.
There is one RTP music piece .. too lighthearted for the environment, but giving you tempo and somehow befitting for this over-the-top zombie setting.

The hallway itself is unpolished and empty - bare some barrels you can walk over. And some walls you can walk over as well. You can explore a little bit, but there is nothing to see here.

The combat works with a color-system - you can shift your knife to different colors, just as the zombies change their eye colors. To successfully slaughter them you will need to match the color and then stab them. If they have none, they are going to attack.

While it isn't difficult, you will need to keep track of their color and their movement.
You just wait until you see your chance and then strike .. while it's too easy, it's a fun system that could see good use.

And that's it. Stab some zombies, walk through the hallway - done.

The short introduction is hilarious and such is the idea of badaption.
Bad but fun!
