Endeavor: Grand Legacy

Note: If you guys download my game, do me a huge favor and give me some sort of feedback on it. Either good or bad, it's greatly appreciated. I ask because I can't really improve unless I know what I need to improve on. ;)


After saving Neshga (their world) from Trobos, King Beledal of Cora and his fellow kings ushered in a time of peace for all. But after 20 years of living safe and prosperous lives, a creature, born from an entity that can only be described as a “Dark Star” (the very same “star” that produced Trobos), approaches the planet. Explosions were heard all throughout the scorched land as Beledal quickly gathers his army for one last desperate attempt to stop this destructive force....

720 years earlier you find Relen, a boisterous young Native from the Celero Tribe, being informed by his brother that the elders of the tribe are meeting in the Celero Shrine. This hasn’t happened since the Sacreds came to Neshga 50 years earlier. Relen and his brother sneak into the shrine to eavesdrop. As it turns out, the elders found within their Seer Stone that there is something approaching Neshga, though they really can’t make out what it is. The elders then try to decide what they’re going to do when the meeting is interrupted by 2 guards and a prisoner: Beledal!

How did this king end up 720 years before his time? How are the events of his time and Relen’s connected? This is where the endeavor begins......


Characters:

Relen
Age: 13
Native
Bio: Relen is a Cleric in training within the Celero Tribe. But one wouldn’t think he’d have that sort of magic judging from his personality. He is snarky, impatient, and even though he can’t take criticism, he isn’t at all afraid of giving it. The rest of his tribe finds his personality troubling, for he’s supposed to live up to their expectations. Relen’s father, Rale, was the hero of their tribe and since Relen doesn’t want to be his father, the disapproval of his tribe only fuels his rebellious nature more. On the more positive side, he is loyal, resourceful, creative, and is not afraid to accept a challenge... even if it gets him and everybody else into trouble.

Beledal
Age: 40
Mixed
Bio: Beledal is quite humble for a king. He doesn’t take advantage of his status and is a real humanitarian (qualities uncommon of a king). This attitude is partly based on a vow he made for himself: never rule like my father did (a loathing, jealous tyrant). However, being in a time when not only is he not a king of anything, he is chastised for being a “half-breed”, his cool attitude often takes a back seat (plus being around Relen doesn’t help either). But in spite of it all, he keeps a level head and is always willing to lend an ear and helping hand.

Teller
Age: 500
Native
Bio: Teller was once a very popular elder among the Celero Tribe (much to the dismay of the other elders). But this admiration soon turned to hate when he was exiled for “siding with the Scareds”. Since then he found a home on the other side of Celero Forest and has lived there alone since. And because of this seclusion, he’s adopted a slightly “eccentric” frame of mind. It’s only when he finds company in Relen and Beledal that he starts to go back to who he was before his exile. He is intelligent, thoughful. He thinks about things in advance before making a decision. His qualities as a leader is something the whole group relies on; especially Relen, who grows to idolize him.

Mauru
Age: ???
Aru
Bio: Little is known about the Aru tribe for they mostly keep to themselves. So of course Mauru is not one to be sociable, especially with the likes of Natives and Sacreds. The Aru feel that those people are taking advantage of the world yet they are not connected to it. So despite Mauru’s obedience, he’s helping the group only to save the world he loves. Nothing else matters to him... he does seem to have a sense of humor that includes intimidating and discouraging the others when they travel through the Forbidden Mountains.

Cerrino
Age: 30
Sacred
Bio: Abandoned as an infant and raised by the scholars, Cerrino has lived a sheltered life. Her life experience is within the hundreds of books she has read throughout the years. She even studied different forms of combat, hoping that perhaps one day she can finally get out and experience a world that, up to this point, she has only read about. She gets that wish, though not only does she now need to prove her worth in a dire situation, the existence of her people also hangs on her shoulders. But in spite of it all, she still maintains her patience (most of the time) and proves to be helpful, both in combat and politics.

Daria (Secret character)
Age: 23
???
Bio: Often times in our lives, we wish for a life similar to Daria’s. It is one of adventure, discovery, and following no one else’s rules but your own. This does get her into trouble, however, for she often oversteps the boundaries of others. She sometimes forgets that people take life seriously and there’s a certain etiquette to things, depending on where you’re from. She doesn’t reveal much in terms of her background, but one could say safely that she’s completely obsessed with treasure and will search high and low for rare and priceless trinkets. Quite useful to have around....
