My updates are getting more frequent!!! Also WIPs and stuff.
I think it's because I've been making more graphics and thus have more concrete things to show, rather than lumps of skills or design bits or things maybe 3 people care about.
I've added a page about gameplay and battles and all that good stuff; you can find it under "How to Slay". It will probably be updated from time to time! I'm thinking about adding a bit about common status effects or whatever else comes to mind as "things you might want to know before playing".
A couple sprites I've done! There's more, but I try not to stuff every little thing I do ever into blogs - save some of the surprise for when people get a chance to play, y'know? And who cares about NPCs you
don't punch in the face? I'm still shooting for an October demo, and have been leaking pixels everywhere in an attempt to get something presentable. It's the halfway mark of the month and I've got a lot drawn, but I'm unsure if I'll get something out exactly in October. You've got to factor in beta testing and the inevitable nest of bugs it will unearth!
Another reason I might not make everything in time for October is the fact I've been dipping my toes into graphics for the second chapter/level/whatever you want to call it.
Not much there yet, but it's nice to work on things other than caves. I've also started tiles for the 4th level, mostly because sometimes the desire to work on a specific thing strikes me, and who am I to deny motivation?
