This update contains stripping. (And progress, but who cares about that?)

Sex sells, right? Apologies for hogging that little corner of space on the front page! I offer abs as a consolation.
On the technical side of things, I've been testing out various aspects of the battle system and stumbling onto nests of bugs. The inconsistent kind, too, which is even worse! Much harder to pinpoint their cause, but I have confidence in crushing them.
So far... (Documentation for myself here!)
The Slayer is secretly a Terminator - I'm unsure about the exact conditions that cause it, but sometimes you continue to fight for a few extra turns despite your HP reaching 0. The gameover sequence is a bit delayed!
NO HELP FOR YOU - Using shift to access the extended skill help windows sometimes makes things explode. Found by a tester and I've yet to encounter it myself, but it's good to take note of!
Certain skills don't work right - Most annoyingly, the stat drain set! Or they might be working and I just can't see it due to me fumbling the "add state" melody.
A few non-battle issues, like the marshal woes with event text pop-ups, and the odd apparently undisposed bitmap that hangs around from the save scene. This is what I get for using a Portuguese(?) save scene; I can't tell which bitmap it is. ;__;
I've been working out more nitty gritty details with skills, as well as cutting quite a few! Since there are really only 8-9 battles in the entire game, the baseline for "should this skill exist?" is "Is it useful in at least 4 battles?" One thing to note about the slowness... One can technically fuse almost every skill in the game right from the first level! This means I have to make sure every skill works/has the associated graphics right from the first level. This crosses over into blathering about graphical shenanigans!
...Which I really don't have a pattern for. I've been coloring portraits for future characters, but have been showing them off at a fairly slow rate. Will probably end up dumping them all into one image file sometime. Same with sprites, although I'm getting into battle animations more, so I really need to post up base sprites somewhere and get critique on them! Once I start animating, there is NO GOING BACK.
I know I mentioned VS CARDS~ the last time I sat down to blog; I have since followed up on the "maybe I'll redraw these" and am glad I did.

Still only done the lines, and I haven't put much thought into a background, but it's already x10 better than what I was previously doing.
I may or may not fall silent as November dawns upon the world. Not because of NaNo or any associated development months, but simply because I've sworn to that fall demo and by golly, I will have a fall demo. LESS BLABBING MORE WORKING.

That's some striking drawings, the clothes fit really nicely the bodies, especially on the left, and are wonderfully loose and curved, they almost seem in movement.

I was in it for the stripping but the updates are good, too! xD
I like the stripping a lot. Make it the title screen.

So she was a dude all this time.
She is just in possession of ABS OF STEEL, what with her element being Metal and all.
Wow, the demons are the _only_ battles? I thought they'd be like boss battles and there were weaker foes in between where you could actually prepare for the boss battles.

I confess. I am the same

In re-checking, I realize the general description of the game doesn't communicate this very well! But yes, it's intended to be small-scale and focused; the challenge for me, personally, is to make a set of unique fights that have all the fun but nothing in excess. (And dungeon crawling, but even the role of dungeon crawling is to act as a setup for each boss.)
It's shaping up to have some extra battles, too - in the first level, there's an extra fight in there so as not to dump people in and expect them to master everything with like, one tutorial battle for practice. I'm doubting there'll be too many things like this, if only because I'm doing all the sprites by my lonesome. It is a lot of work!
