The information below is for testers, but anyone with bug reports, suggestions, feature requests, etc is of course welcome to post here.

Thanks for offering to help test the game. I hope you enjoy playing it despite it's imperfect state! I'm eager to hear feedback and criticism on pretty much every aspect of the game, but especially the following:

1. Gameplay
I think this is the most important thing, because if the core gameplay isn't fun who will care that the characters can be customized? Testers, please play the game and tell me honestly what you think. What aspects are fun and what aspects could be more fun? How is the difficulty? What things would you do to improve it? Of course please report any bugs you encounter.

2. Customization
Please mess around with the customization features; there's bound to be plenty of bugs and issues I haven't considered. You don't need to create content you would ever share with others. Just play around and see if you can do the things you're supposed to be able to do. Try creating a character or two and writing a little bit of story for her. Again, what you write doesn't have to be anything serious, but see if things really work.

3. Story & writing
Please give me constructive criticism on the story and the writing for the built-in characters. What do you think of the characters? If there are bits that you think should be rewritten for any reason, please don't hesitate to tell me. I realize some of the story (including the premise) may be corny, so maybe you have suggestions on how it could be better? Of course also report any bad spelling or typos or anything else that's off.

4. Documentation
Is the help file which explains how to do all the customization stuff easy to read and easy to understand? Please tell me if any parts aren't clear. I want the customization process to be easy and fun as much as possible.

5. Any other suggestions you have!
Don't hold back. If you have something to say which could help me improve the game I want to hear it.

Well it seems that nobody yet has gotten a good ending (a non-generic ending). This tells me that it might be too difficult or maybe unfair?

A good ending requires:
1. The character is in a state of Love or Lovesick
2. You have completed her story route

Everyone seems to be doing well with the first requirement.
The second requirement is tricky because you have to make some correct choices along the way AND some of those choices require that you pass an attribute check. Attribute checks are in multiples of 10; either 20, 30, 40, or 50. (So if you get an attribute up to 50, you'll pass any checks involving it in story events)

I suppose the problem is that it's not clear what attribute checks are coming up for a given character. Also, with the longer stories, you might simply be running out of time to complete them.

For the next release I'm going to make it a little easier to pass attribute checks by making it easier to raise attributes. I might also add a means of getting in-game hints for characters.

I didn't intend to put out a new release so soon, but there really have been a sleugh of bug reports and changes in the last two days. Testers, please grab the new release (v0.4).

I should have mentioned this earlier but if you encounter a serious bug I'd be greatly appreciative if you can send me a save file prior to the bug's occurrence. The game autosaves each day during the status screen where you can spend orbs so you can use that file. There are a few bugs that have been reported now which I've not able to reproduce and seeing the save file could help me out a ton.

I can see myself tweaking this game and adding new features for awhile to come, or for as long as people are interested in it, but I'll stop calling it a beta when we get to the point where any new releases will not render saves and records incompatible. There are still a few changes I'm considering that could possibly do that.

Here's some of the ideas for new features in consideration:
- "mental notes" about a character can be reviewed
- generic event for walking to school together
- support for BxB (only if there is interest)
- support for dual character endings
- Mouse support
- additional mini-games

The top two of those will likely make it into the game in the near future.

The new version, among other things, finally fixes the "script is hanging" error which people with slow computer sometimes encounter after the ending before or during the credits roll. Well, I think I fixed it. If anyone still gets that error at the end of the game, please let me know! I don't have any older computers around the house with which to test it on.

I agree with this person. I'll check it out, looks all right. I hope I can be useful to the game's progress.

Totally going to test customization options! I've no graphics for what I've got in mind (might find some temporary "filler" stuff though), but everything else... well, I shall see what I can do!
I'm very much looking forward to hearing about your experience with the customization features. If you haven't got any character images to use you can always download that free character template linked to in the help file (the same one that was used to create the built-in characters). It's from a Japanese site but it shouldn't be too hard to navigate, I don't think. Please ask me if there's anything confusing.
Thanks, I very much enjoyed playing this. It reminded me of True Love, one of my favorite in the genre.

I got the good ending with Keika and Riho. I almost got the good ending with Miki, but since Keika and Riho all were lovesick , I couldn't get their score low enough to get the Miki ending. Maybe, it would be good if we could choose at the end which girl to go out with among those whose ending are opened and that still love the hero... I missed Tsubasa's ending because I didn't have a high enough mind score for solving the second case (with the jewelry)

Maybe one small irritating thing is that sometimes you only always meet the same person in one day. I think maybe the probability gain from being the correct zodiac sign is a bit too high?

I haven't been able to meet Akari and Hinami. Maybe there should be more encounters leading to meeting those girls inside the game?

Anyhow, congrats on this game. I had a great time playing it!
By the way, I'm curious how do you handle all the dialog script with Ruby?

It is reminiscent of True Love, isn't it? Only the avatar in True Love, (default name was Daisuke, if I recall) is an absolute potty mouth at times on top of being complete moron. Seasons of the Sakura's avatar, Shuji, didn't have a potty mouth (or it wasn't as noticeable as Daisuke's), but was still a complete moron.

Not that the avatar of this game isn't a complete moron in his own right. Part of the genre, I guess?
Thank you much for your feedback! I'm going to take you up on the suggestion to allow the player to choose the ending if they qualify for more than one ending. I might also lower the probability gain for the horoscope prediction.

Hmm, I didn't intend the avatar of this game to be a complete moron. Speaking of which, I'd like to get more feedback about him, since if users are gonna take advantage of the customization features, they'll have to write story from his perspective.

As to how I handle dialog in Ruby, well, it's complicated. The "Show Text" event command IS part of it. The text to be displayed to the screen is stored in a variable and there's a lot of processing of the text that must be done.

From my stream-of-consciousness game-notes (abusing the hide tag):
And now, we find out why there's an 101 in the title! Because you have 101 days to get a "girlfriend" or else! What's the "or else" part? We don't know quite yet, but it can't be good! If I were Takuya (the PC, not the NPC), I would barter with the girls as to what kind of punishment the looser would have. No way would I leave it to the imagination of the girls. Because then, you get a punishment like riding a tricycle in nothing but a bib (Yes, I've now played to that part). Though I'm not sure what kind of ideas Takuya (the PC) would have as proper punishment.

Lol, OK I'll consider rewriting that bit.

Btw, very few people (anyone at all?) seem to be meeting Akari so here's a hint on one way to meet her: If Miki wants to know if you have a good idea, withhold your good idea. The second way to meet Akari requires that you sabotage your chances with Riho.

Is there a way to get on good terms with all the girls?

Also, does the game have girl take different opinions through the way met?

i have tried to get on good terms with everyone (help riho with her grades, be freinds with miki, solve tsubasa's mugging crime. but sometimes you interact with different characters who act like they are back before i unlockd there endings
(a good example is when i was working on rihos sister, first tsubasa met us on the roof and told me i could skip a grade if i took a test, then got kinda jelouse when she kissed me before i left {which would be understandable}, and one that realy confused me is when riho and her sister {i keep saying riho's sister cuz i can never remember how to spell her name} aproach me and riho left rather reluctanly. my natural reaction was "there wonderin who i love more" and riho is one of my favorite characters in the game so i went after her. then she acted incredibly shy, and couldnt talk {and yelled at me a bit} and i wondered to myself "didnt we get past this already?")

edit: i also had rihos ending... so i dont THINk she should be acting so shy...
Is there a way to change the number of days? I think it mentioned an option in the ending to play with 140 something days but haven't found it...

I wanted to use it to test the other remaining endings
It's certainly possible to get on good terms with all the girls. You run the risks of surprise "jealousy" events on dates though. (a girl can show up unexpectedly when you're on a date with another girl, which can drop affection by a lot if the two girls know each other)

151 Mode is unlocked by completing the game with any non-generic (character specific) ending.

I'm in the process of making several balance changes....
I completed my first ending & I think it was a good ending probably?I chose Miki's route & my status was lovesick at just one day before completion of 101 days & at the end She became my girlfriend.

I met 4 girls 3 of which loved mefirst was miki,2nd was riho & 3rd was keika(is that her name?).Shihoko had a friendly relationship with me at end:)Miki was my favorite. At 2nd position, riho.

Gameplay is fun,I like it.you should probably create more mini games though.the extra money mini game is the only out there(it is good btw)or probably it was only one I played

& you should also create character specific scene at the end of each route.Graphics are very good, but I honestly don't like Keika's hair. Can you do something about it?

Overall A very good game
8/10(will probably raise at the final release)
waitin for final product^_^

I got the message that the 151 mode was unlocked at the end... But couldn't find how to actually activate it...

I'm beginning to agree with Miki's in-game comment about how 101 days is too many. Maybe it's the way I've been note-taking like a fiend (probably this), but my current playthrough feels slower than molasses.

Quick-checking load screen to see if I'm just deluding myself: Day 27 with 1 hour, 19 minutes, 21 seconds elapsed.

Hrm...

Some people finish the game in that time. And all the days are needed to both add to a girl's affection and unlock her story events.
Actually as much as I liked the minigame with the dice, it does make the game a bit slow paced...

I wonder also if it would make sense to have the possibility to speed up until the end once the good ending conditions are met for one girl...

I was asking for more than 101 days just to try and get enough time to finish the game with shioko which I met late in the game...
Hmmm... Maybe you could do I tutorial on how to use the template for a new character, I don't know if its just me, but all those numbers and letters set my head whirling. Hmmm... Also, I think you are a bit harsh on the druggie lad, he came in the first time when I got to the station, when I had 500 yen, still, life is life, and also, you could improve the graphics a tiny bit, and also, please, please, please, could you make it more than 101 days, I only met Shikoho in the later half of the game, and to date, I have met her only thrice, you should give us more time, roughly, every day is less than a minute, so I finished it in 45 mins, I was so eager. Its startling, one moment you are one day 24, suddenly you are on day 54!

When you press the spacebar when the dice is rolling, it automatically stops.
