The Relic. Handed down, generation after generation by the royal family, nobody knows what it's purpose is. It is said, that during the Meteor Shower that occurs once every 5 years, if the girl with the pure voice sings the Song of the Seas, then the Relic will reveal its purpose. This girl, is Annette. King Gaston III, requests that she be brought across the ocean, to his kingdom in the New World, for the celebration of the Meteor Shower. She brings her boyfriend Scatto, a drunken thief, his best friend, Antoine Vivinci, and Scattos pet bird, Peeko. However, while out at sea, their boat gets attacked attacked by a fierce storm, and the ship begins to go down. Anette, Antoine, Scatto, and many other people make it to the life boats, but when they go to launch it, one of the ropes gets snagged in the mechanism. Scatto quickly climbs up the rope, runs into the ship, gets a knife and just as he gets back to the rope, the ship starts sinking! There is no time to climb aboard the life boat, he cuts the rope there and then. the boat is released - Scatto struggles to get to the boat but the waves are too rough he does not make it. He wakes up, days later, shipwrecked on an island.
5 Years later, after nobody returns, Scatto finally escapes. Being alone at Sea for awhile has turned Scatto a little insane, as he can now hear Peeko and other animals speak. Once arriving to the New World, where his boat was originally heading 5 years ago, He learns that Annette and Antoine had died at sea. Now, all he wants is to be left alone with his little pet bird, Peeko. But he eventually meets a cheerful, mature for her age, young girl named Arianna, who is the leader of a group of Rebels called Subject to Change (they can't decide on a name), looking to find the Relic, as in the 5 years he had been gone, it was stolen. Scatto decides to come with them, secretly to get the Relic for himself. But what awaits him on his Journey, will be far more than what he could imagine. The Questions from his Past will finally be answered. What actually happened to Annette and Antoine, and What secrets do the Relic hold?

VOICE ACTING - The Game will feature voice acting! There will be a separate download without it, for those who despise voice acting in games.
Earthbound Style Battles - A Battle System similar to the Mother series, featuring customizable weapons, skills, and armors.
Interesting Dialogue - Tired of seeing boring dialogue? Well, have no fear. From Peeko's constant sarcastic remarks to Lorenzo's untimely wisdom, Relic features hundreds of intractable events, all with well written dialogue.
Puzzles and Brain-teasers - Similar to that of Professor Layton

CloseI install font that was in zip archive with the game. Chapters 1-3 fixed. But I can't see text anyway. Maybe there is one more font for it. Pls help

I'm looking at my Relic folder, and seeing a font file called "Segoe UI.ttf" in the main directory. I'm guessing that's the font the game uses. I don't think the game uses another font, so I have no idea why the text isn't showing up for you.

yeah I had it font, and when I open up a game on title screen text font show up, but the rest of game text font is not show up.

I have fixed the breakfast scene, and now am Uploading the new version. It should be up tomorrow :)
As for the font issue, I can't say that I've come in contact with it, nor has anyone else to my knowledge.
Perhaps you need to download the font Segeo UI, since having it in the game folder doesn't seem to be helping you much.

I downloaded what I thought was chapter 1 through 3,
but it appears to only be chapter 3.
It starts out in the middle of something going on,
and I have no idea what's happening. ._.

I also installed the font and get nothing but blackness in the beginging and cant see text. Then my character is also invisible when i start.

That's three people with font problems, now? Not sure how to fix it, though! As for having an invisible character, if the game begins properly, the character should be invisible for a while. If you have control of an invisible character, however, that's an issue!

I accidently downloaded just chapter 3,
I didn't realize until just recently.

I really dislike rapidshare,
it has horrid downloading that crashes too much.
Here I go waiting another several hours trying to download the game.

I got it downloaded rather quickly.
HOW long exactly are you supposed to be invisible?
Because it's literally super hard to move around all these maps without seeing where I'm at,
except for the little 'POOF' button to show you.
I actually feel like I'm controlling an ivisible character all the way to the caves since my characters appear at first then they are gone.
AND the game crashed right when I entered the cave and the bats surround me and I'm about to battle.
It says some character pose is missing then crashes.

Yeah i had control of an invisible character. After the first opening dialogue i saw nothing but could access the menu.

Alright, for some reason when I fixed it last time, a completely new error came about that makes Scatto invisible.
That's not intentional, so I'll be uploading YET ANOTHER fixed version today.
Hopefully this will be the last thing I have to fix before releasing Chapter 4.
Also, I'm trying to find a better site to upload Relic onto, as many people have told me how much Rapidshare sucks. Any suggestions?

Mediafire works really well for me,
and I have see tons of people on here who use it,
and no one has complained about it.

Alright, the newest version has been uploaded, and should be approved and available to you all tomorrow. It has been uploaded on Rapidshare for now, though.
I will try to find a new site in time for Chapter 4.

Have you tried uploading to RMN's server, Twidge? I don't recall very well, but I think the file cap is around 450 MB?

Finllay downloaded it... but I can't play.
After the first cut scene ends ("the hangover one") there is no character sprite...
I can access the menu and remove the members and such, but i can't see their sprites...
The party screen tells me that I have two members, Scatt (or was it something else) and the bird...
EDIT: Seems as I'm not the first one to see this bug... is there any quick fix or will I have to download the entire game again...
PS: @Twidge: You can break the file in two parts or as Marrend said, upload it to RMN or you can upload to Dropbox

Hmm.... I don't know what to tell you.
I included the font in the game folder, so there's no reason why it shouldn't work.
You could try actually downloading the font into your computer. It's cslled Segeo UI
