Taking a Break

In case you all haven't noticed, I've decided to put Relic on hiatus.

I've been very busy with graduation, senior activites, planning for college, and just everything else seems to be happening at once, that I really don't have the time to work on it.


Don't fret, someday Chapter 4 and the rest will see the light of day. Unfortunately, that day will just have to wait.

Thanks for your understanding, and I'm sorry for making you all wait :/ Thanks for supporting Relic for the past year and a half, it means more than you might think :)

~Relic Tales Announcement~

Hey all!

I'm starting up a side-series spinoff of Relic, which will be titled Relic Tales.
This will be not be a fully playable game, but rather a series of short episode feauturing various characters from Relic, and the stories they have to tell about their past. They will be short, sweet, and funny.

This is mainly a way to fit in some backstory and story arcs that I could not find a place for in the actual Relic game.
So, expect atleast 1 episode in sometime before Relic is completed.
We probably won't be seeing all of these before Relic is finished though, since some episodes will be quite spoiler-heavy.

Anyways, that's all!
I have do have a WIP of Young Arianna, in her boarding school days.

Now onto the topic of Relic itself, I will have a bunch of new screenshots sometime tomorrow, to show that Chapter 4 is making progress.

A Review of Chapters 1-3?

Hi everyone~
I'm currently creating Chapters 4-5, as well as getting things ready for the final release of Relic, which will include Chapter 6-7.
However, I don't want to get too far along without knowing what people do and do not enjoy about the first 3 chapters.
I was wondering, if anybody would like to review the first 3 chapters of Relic?
You don't even really need to rate it with stars, seeing as it is a demo, not the final product.
This would just be really helpful in making the final version of Relic the best that it can be :)

Chapter 4 VOICE ACTING PREVIEW

Hey hey hey, everyone!
I know I just released Chapter 3, but I just couldn't help myself to starting
on Chapter 4 already :D
It's just my favorite chapter in the game, no big deal or anything..
So, I've gone ahead and created the very first scene in the chapter, and added
Voice Acting.

This is a flashback, and shows a romantic night shared by Scatto and Annette.
It also reveals how Scatto met Peeko.
Enjoy!

Also, the voices don't echo in the game, it's just a side-effect of the recorder.



Also, Chapter 3 has been taken down temporarily due to some bugs. The download should be back up tonight or tomorrow.

Chapter 3 Release

Chapter 3 of Relic is finally completed!
Much thanks to my beta-testers Marrend and kingsofrpg.
The downloads have been put up for submission, and should be available in the morning.
There will be one for all three chapters, and one for Chapter 3 alone.

Chapter 2 Released!!

Yes, Chapter 2 is finished!
It's been put up for download, now it's just pending!
So, when it's up, go download it!!
There are 4 versions, Chapters 1+2 with and without VA.
And there's just Chapter 2, with and without VA.

If you wish to continue your Relic save file from Chapter 1, just copy it over to the nw folder. It should start you right after Django's Cavern, and you can play into Chapter 2 from there!

Hey all~
I just would like to let everyone know, that I've made a youtube channel for Relic.
Well, actually I just added Relic videos to my old account, but you get the idea.
This features all of the soundtrack so far, and later will have a full walkthrough of the game, and well as bonus features.
