For Your Knowledge

The 200 Downloads snuck up on my faster than I had expected. I thought it'd be at least a week before it happened--guess I was wrong. I haven't quite finished up the new things I'm adding in nor have I completed the MP3 Track I'm making for the Introduction. Thing's are just going by so fast!

But at least I'm getting work done. I'm buckling down and really doing things now so I can make the deadline I set for myself. It really shouldn't be too hard to do so, but I also don't want to rush myself. That never leads to good things, from what I know. The move descriptions I'm just making up myself. Somewhat because the descriptions are too long for the tiny space RM2K3 gives me, and because it would take far longer to find, copy, and paste all the descriptions from my TXT File of moves. Honestly, I thought copy-pasting would be the quicker route--NOT.

But I digress. I'll be adding some more things in and finishing up that MP3 for you guys, then I'll make another release. I missed a bunch of "You"'s when I went through it, so those'll be fixed, hopefully. I also removed the slowness from the intro. It really is a pain to fast readers; I would know, I'm one of them. I can read a 600 page book in less than 5 hours. No, not the ones with the pictures. That's silly.

I've also been improving, dramatically, the flow of text in some areas. Like, there are certain things that'd be common knowledge to some but obscure and unknown to others that need to be told in the beginning of the game. So I removed the pointless ramblings of the starting trainers and replaced them with informational things that you could actually use to improve your gameplay experience. I'll be doing this to a bunch more of the trainers. It seems kind of silly to have 100+ Trainers that say absolutely nothing useful to you at all. Same with the NPCs; they pretty much just say pointless things. I'm going around and making them more useful to either story progression or gameplay progression. The last thing I want is for my Players' to be completely and hopelessly lost. So lost, in fact, that they have to come and ask me for assistance on where they should or should not go. It's silly.

Anyways, I suppose that concludes this message. It was a rather long one, even for me. I didn't expect to write so much.

Bewbs.

Yeah info is good. Also i love the text speeding game. I have actually quit two games that had great gameplay because of the fact that the text moved so slow and you were required to talk to people over and over a lot. So this is a plus. Also happy to see skill descriptions. Nice work.
Sounds awesome! Keep us posted!
SO I played your game, I have to say I found the intro a little sarcastic and long winded. The dialogue all together could have been a little better but the graphics and battle system was brilliant. I think you really have something special here. I believe that if you can clean up the intro and touch up the dialogue this could be a truly gripping story with incredible game play. This is by far the best Poke`mon game I have seen to date. Please don't take this the wrong way and let it discourage you because it's not meant to. I hope to hear back soon and keep up the solid work.
Thanks a lot! I will take everything into consideration and do my best to make it better.

Listen to Ashes. He knows what he’s talking about.
Indeed I shall.

He? And here I was thinking... I'll be quiet now.
Sorry to disappoint, friend. :D
Nononono, I meant it not like that, lol...
Lol it's cool. I understand how it is. Made that mistake myself before. So no worries. :)
