I knew about that option from day one (After I posted that comment, of course) --but I've already got most of the moves set in the Default Leveling learning... thing. And since there isn't any way to get exac--wait, I could detect what level they're at and go off of that... no, with evolution that won't work. Anyways, I wouldn't be able to get the exact number with the default system, and with all of the Pokemon and things I have already done--it would be too much work for little reward. I'd have to go back and redo... like... everything.
I don't see myself doing anything like that unless it's the first thing I did when I made the game--otherwise, it won't be
happening.

Because with all the gosh darned knowledge of the RPG Maker 2k3 systems, and all the things I can do, that's just one of the things I don't know how I would go about doing.
Well, since the pokemon are already individual heroes, you could have variables storing the "move count" on each hero. If it exceeds 4 on a level when you learn more than 1 move, display the learn new move? choice. Then, a 4 choice menu with each individual move. It would take a *TON* of effort but if you want, it's available.
that was actually my biggest peve with the pokemon games.
I prefer more moves with MP. I don't like 4 moves with individual use limits that never ran out before you won (a.k.a. just use the most powerful move over and over)
