Let's face it. You are a very busy person. Who has time for a forty hour RPG? Today's games are all about brevity. For years you searched and searched for an RPG that could be played on the fly, because I don't know, Angry Birds wasn't time killing enough for you or something.
Well now your wishes have been answered!
Quick Quest is the RPG game that's quick to complete!

How does it work?
Straight from the start, you're given a multitude of options. Quick Quest won't be just one RPG: it will be a collection of games, called scenarios, which you can play on one game file.

Each game's plot boils down to one sentence:
"Save the elements!"
"Rescue the princess!"
"Kill the dragon!"

Add to that, if the scenario's inherent difficulty isn't hard enough, coming soon includes challenge mode - set gamer challenges like "No Escapes" and have the game enforce them for you!**

Current Scenarios:

Scenario 1: Four Elements
Yes. Elements. They control elementary forces. There are even four of them. Go protect them from evil or something.

Scenario 2: Orc Invasion
Not Warcraft

Does this paltry list upset you? Did you want a quick RPG with a different plot? Comment below with a suggestion - if yours is good enough, you might even get a scenario made for you!

*Legal Disclaimer: Can, not 'always will'. First playthroughs will probably be longer.
**So you can't cheat. Cheater.

Currently just placeholder music from my other game Dungeons: Critical Hit, so all music credits go to people who worked on that. Two of the battle themes are from Final Fantasy II. I'll compose an actual OST later, unless you want to do that.

One Hour - Next Updates? You decide!

Hey everypeoples, I'm glad you're reading up on what we're gonna do next.

One Hour has only two scenarios right now. But to make a unique gameplay experience, we need scenarios that are made by more than just me! So download the One Hour Skeleton that comes with the game and make a quick game.

As for updates..

Next update won't include a scenario unless someone makes one, so I'm going to focus on graphical changes, getting rid of RTP to make it more flavorful and more eye appealing. Square is boring!

Interesting idea. If you keep working at it, you can't go wrong.
Edit: Though that comic is bad. :-p
Could be interesting if this was an open, collective project... anyone makes a one hour-long scenario and you implement it to the main project. There could be tons of scenarios that way and everyone gets a little credit.

I said posting a comment for a suggestion could help develop a one hour rpg, but making one is good too. If you want, I can release a barebones skeleton to download for developers so that they can get an opportunity to develop one.

Of course, so that the scenarios don't turn out to be crap, I'll have to review them personally.

Hey Gamesfreak if you are still around this can't be downloaded because you are linking to a defunct mediafire file. Could you upload it to the site instead?
