Iris Island is an Adventure/RPG, set on a fictional island of the same name.
With 3 varying story outcomes, players are given the opportunity to set forth on their own path of experience gathering and quest completion.
Choose your gender and name at the beginning of the game and customize your look with 4 different costumes. Test your skills at: Fishing, Mining, Smelting, Cooking, and Crafting.

Hey shiningriver. You may have went the wrong way and accidentally triggered an event that wasn't supposed to appear yet. Should not be a problem though. Here's what you should try:
- From the screenshot you sent me, return to the miner's camp and take the escape tunnel to the right of the elevator. You should see hole in a wall with some fallen rocks beneath it. That's you're way to the surface. (If you have not been told about this entrance before, you may want to talk to a couple of adventurers that you can find down in the caves. Just look for the skeleton resting by a river of lava. The skeleton is located in the room just before the Dark Caves. They can warp you to the surface.
- Next return to your house. Down in your basement there is a secret passage, parallel to the gate that took you to the crystal caves. Press 'enter' against the wall and you will unlock a hidden door. Head inside when you are ready and follow the passage until you reach Frem's hideout.
- Here Frem will take you through the secret tunnel that he has been in charge of guarding. This will eventually loop you back to where you saw that message in the screenshot, but now you will be on the other side of that gap and can continue onward.
- From there everything should run smoothly and you are on your way to finishing the game.

Haven't needed to update the game in a while, but I am still watching over the page to make sure everyone has help if they need it.

Some may be interested in that. I suggest having a 'quest log' section instead so that people would know where they are and with a bit of a hint on what to do.

Hey eevee93, I believe he is asking you to deliver it to the Food Store (Building with an apple on the sign). You can find it in-between the Pub and General Store. Look for a backdoor behind the Pub and once you are inside, place the crate in the middle of two other crates at the end of the wall.
If you have any other troubles, let me know.
there is already a crate there n i cant place the crate anywhere else in the shop..

Is it possible that you placed the crate there without noticing? Is the 'Food Crate' item still in your inventory? If you no longer see the item, try to go back and claim your reward from Warth.
If there is still an issue with it, I can take a look at your save file and fix it for you.

Hey I'm really enjoying your game, but I'm having trouble with the jump function. All A seems to do is sprint and I'm stuck at the first mine cart jump.
Any help would be great.

i did not place the crate anywhere in the food store..and i still have the crop crate in my inventory..

How many times have you done the crop crate quest?
I did it twice and it removed the crate from the previous time, but it reduced the reward. Maybe there's limit in the script where it doesn't remove the previous crate after so many completions.

Hi,
I went through with your suggestion. After Frem directed me to the area with lots of magma, I went to the center, which automatically killed Frem and pushed me to the entrance of the miner's cave (although it's trashed). So, I went out to the only exit available, but the game does not continue to load past this point. Did I do something wrong?

Hmm, that's very interesting. I'm not sure why it wouldn't load for you, but I will take a look in the game and see if I can't find any possible reasons for it.
Sorry it's having an issue. I'll message you back soon with what I can find.
EDIT:
So far, I can't find anything to be wrong with the event. Commands look pretty clear cut. The exit reacts differently depending on weather or not you completed certain quests. I'm sure I tested both scenarios and got them working, because I remember having issues with that exit when I first made it. And I wouldn't knowingly leave something like that unchecked.
Could you tell me what happened when you went through the exit:
-Screen faded out?
-Did music play?

Very strange. I will be more than happy to take a look at it for you and get everything fixed up. Why don't you go into your Iris Island folder and make a copy of your save file. Then, email it to me as an attachment to letsfilmsomething@yahoo.com.
If I can't figure out why it's reacting this way, I can at least reset the mini-quest and get you your gold for delivering the crate. :)

Check to make sure your keyboard settings are on default. Press 'F1' after booting the game.
Also, are you on the mine track or did you fall down the pit? If you fell down, there is a spot to jump over a slate of rock by pressing 'A' while also holding the 'Left Arrow' key. Some jumps require you to move in the direction that you are jumping.
I'll check the game to make sure there isn't a bug there.

I would check the keyboard settings (F1) and make sure that key 'A' is set to 'X'.

Okay, all good so far. It will play those strings for about 12 seconds before fading in.
Did you complete all of the pirate quests?
Pirate? I recall recruiting 4/5 so far (the most recent being the miner I found on one of the caves down below), at least that's what it says.
Okay, good to know. I'll have to see if that causes any confusion for the system for whatever reason.
If you want to email me a copy of your save file as well, like eevee93 did, I can take a look at it and get you back on track.

i jus have some quick questions.. can some1 tell me how to get the 10 boots for the monster??(i have only have 1 now) and also how to fix the missing rails for the first cart puzzle... n lastly where can i get the net n fishing rod for catching the shrimp n trout???

Hey, no problem at all. Glad to help!
If you haven't been to his shop yet, visit Aylax in his general store at the market district. His building is the one right next to Serik's Food Store. Aylax has a mission to collect pearls for him. After completing this quest you can purchase a net and fishing rod from his store. You will need to be at fishing level 5 to use the fishing rod. Once you are fishing with the rod, you will be able to catch boots at random.
As for the broken track, just bring the monster, Frem, his 10 boots and you will know what to do next.
