Progression into 2.0

Special thanks to Incarnate.

I'll use his review to the best of my ability when crafting the next (and last) demo.

Now with that said, I feel as though making every single skill right now is a bad idea. So allow me to write my main goal for every characters here.
That should suffice for now.

- Zirodolla, Our little goddess...?
Main roles:
Power-Healer- All her healing spells are on-demand.
Need a weak spell that's mana sufficient heal? YA GOT IT
Need a strong spell that eats up mana? YA GOT IT
Need heals that are quick and tactical? Guess what I'm going to say.
The problem is that she relies on MP, and if Zirodolla runs out, she becomes almost useless.

Holy/Unholy Damage- Some of the most powerful Holy and Unholy spells in the game.
The problem is that Ziro can't deal consistent dps compared to other characters.

Buff/Debuff Support- Spells like Ruin are very easy to use and are very powerful.

Off-Tank- For a limited amount of time, Zirodolla can almost become immortal, and take damage like a freakin' boss.
--
Zirodolla makes for an extremely powerful support character all around. She's very useful if you want a character that can take care of everything. The problem is that she can't master anything.

- Naka, That black girl everyone likes hates
Main roles:
Critical Damage- Most of Naka's attacks can critically strike, which deals over two times more damage than normal. She also has a few abilities that can deal elemental damage.
Stun Support- Naka can keep one enemy completely disabled for the entire fight, if she wants.
She also has abilities that increase the amount of turns your entire party can use in battle.
--
Naka is great when it comes to EP and MP resource management. Also her damage is pretty consistent no matter what. The only problem is when enemies are strong against Weapon damage.

- Vaniel, ^o^
Main roles:
Item-Healer-
Vaniel can increase the effectiveness of healing items, and create his own.

Buff/Debuff Support-
Vaniel has many, many buffs and debuffs- along with a few elemental spells and attacks.

--
Vaniel is extremely powerful, especially if you're using other party members. The problem lies within his complex array of abilities.
If you don't know how to properly prepare his skill rotation, you will find that Vaniel can be pretty useless.

- Donna, Not-so-secret girlfriend
Main roles:
Physical Tank-
Donna has many buffs that increase her effectiveness for the role of Tanking monsters.
--
For the most part, Donna can receive an unbelievable amount of damage without dying. Donna is also the easiest character to Tank with. This is because most fights center around her skillset. The problem is that they're better Tank characters in certain aspects- mainly magic wielders.

- Ebalestt, best emperor ever~
Main roles:
Elemental Damage-
Ebalestt can deal a consistent amount of Flame, Aqua, Earth, and Air damage to the target.

Healing over time-
Ebalestt can heal many people without using too many resources.

--
Our little prince-going-emperor has quite a few tricks. If you know the elemental weakness of a target, you can do much worst than bring Ebalestt into the party.
Along with this, Ebalestt doesn't suffer from resource issues. The problem is that Ebalestt relies on the abused weakness of his foes.
He also has issues healing people who are taking an extreme amount of damage at once.

- Verniamachi, totally evil...
Main roles:
Magical Tank-
Verniamachi relies on his magical defenses to stay alive. Furthermore, his attacks will almost always heal him.
--
Verniamachi is great for fighting enemies that use spells which go through defenses. This is because he has one of the biggest HP levels in the game, many resistances to status ailments, and the fact that he can heal himself almost effortlessly. The problem is that he does not have good defense, and some attacks might even one shot him- compared to Donna.

This is not every playable character. There are many guest characters that that fit special roles for special dungeons and quests.
Small example of guest PCs
- Keverin, That awesome catboy
- Tawhiri, :D <3
- Rushintow, A dog who is also a Black Mage
- Gracell, That Hunter from the western deserts
- Sana, cameo
- Morpheus, cameo
- Serge, that awesome lion-man-dude-creature who may or may not have something with Vaniel
ETC, ETC, ETC...

With THAT out of the way, I'm going to start balancing the game and then I'll start working on Moonlit City, also known as the City of "Demons."
Expect a mapping video on MLC! Also expect a lot of Vaniel Shenanigans, And no Naka shenanigans.
Haha (oh gosh...)

1.5R?

Man, just call it 1.6 already, it's not that hard!

In response to the actual BLOG PART, I'm liking that a lot of the characters can take different roles. The variety is nice, but I really do hope you find a way to incorporate the different strategies in certain battles.

Okay, I'll call it 2.0, and the full game will be 3.0.

And let's hope I don't run out of ideas x-3
What? 2.0? That's too high! (kidding of course)

Numbers were fucked after revising the game. Also, 1.6 is not cool enough :)
